Auditing the estimated cost of construction of transport infrastructure facilities

    Get PDF
The paper is devoted to the study of the audit of the estimated cost of construction of transport infrastructure facilities. Since it is the study of the estimate documentation for the correctness and accuracy of the application of prices and scope of works that makes it possible to ensure the expediency of using funds, avoid financial losses and achieve high-quality project implementation. The authors justified the need for an audit, identified its stages and their content. An algorithm for checking local estimates during an audit of the estimated cost has been compiled. Specific examples of analyzing the positions of the estimate documentation during the audit of the estimated cost of construction of transport infrastructure facilities are given, deviations in the composition of local estimates are identified, recommendations are given based on the results of the audit

Economic dimension of engineering and construction in Russian orthodox temple architecture (reliable determination of church construction estimate cost and it’s optimization) is in the best interest of engineering companies, the Russian Orthodox Church, state authorities and potential investors as basis for assessment of investment, cost control, cost saving in temple complex construction. The article gives methodological aspects of cost estimate determination in temple architecture, synthesizes cost expenditures for temple construction, proposes and analyses cost-saving solutions

The influence of architectural decisions on improving the economic efficiency of development projects

With the changing approaches to the development of territories and the emergence of new legislative initiatives in the Russian Federation, approaches to the implementation of housing development projects become fundamentally different. The previous development model, which is focused solely on the interests of the developer and supported by unsatisfied demand for housing in the post-Soviet period, ceases to work, which necessitates the search for new approaches to the construction business and ways to increase the economic efficiency of investment housing projects. The paper is devoted to the study and systematization of architectural decisions of various levels, which can be taken into account by developers in housing projects in order to increase economic efficiency

The study is devoted to substantiating the need to develop a cost controlling system in order to improve the efficiency of investors, developers, customers, general contractors, as well as representatives of the banking system who are directly involved in the implementation of investment and construction projects. The paper summarizes the innovations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation in the field of determining the cost of construction at the stages of the life cycle of an investment and construction project, and suggests their adaptation to the activities of commercial customers. The factors of the rise in the cost of construction in the modern conditions of the investment and construction sphere are systematized, including topical issues of the rise in cost due to the increase in prices of building materials. The main risks arising from the implementation of the project associated with an increase in cost are highlighted. As the results of the study, stages of construction cost control with a description of their content and a system of cost controlling of an investment and construction project are proposed

The comparison between the walls properties from brick and reinforced concrete of Russian orthodox temple buildings

The orthodox temple buildings have the wide range of architectural and construction designs, and the same time, their erection and projecting process are under the influence of strict orthodox canons. The exterior wall is one of the main structures of orthodox church building. For today, the traditional brick and contemporary modern material, reinforced concrete, are the mostly wide spread materials in orthodox churches buildings; the mix of these two materials is also possible. The issue is concerned with the analyses architectural and construction requirements to external temple walls and to their features comparison in both cases: for traditional canonical and contemporary designs. The strength, thermal and technical, acoustical, architectural and aesthetical, economical properties of walls are compared for these two construction variants. The scope of this issue contains the instance of approximate strength calculation for the temple of small volume and crude data for the cost of one square meter of external wall in four specific construction designs. Comparative analysis allows choosing a more environmentally friendly material and improving the energy efficiency of the facility

Dendrons and Dendritic Terpolymers: Synthesis, Characterization and Self-Assembly Comparison

International audienceTo the best of our knowledge, this is the very first time that a thorough study of the synthetic procedures, molecular and thermal characterization, followed by structure/properties relationship for symmetric and non-symmetric second generation (2-G) dendritic terpolymers is reported. Actually, the synthesis of the non-symmetric materials is reported for the first time in the literature. Anionic polymerization enables the synthesis of well-defined polymers that, despite the architecture complexity, absolute control over the average molecular weight, as well as block composition, is achieved. The dendritic type macromolecular architecture affects the microphase separation, because different morphologies are obtained, which do not exhibit long range order, and various defects or dislocations are evident attributed to the increased number of junction points of the final material despite the satisfactory thermal annealing at temperatures above the highest glass transition temperature of all blocks. For comparison reasons, the initial dendrons (miktoarm star terpolymer precursors) which are connected to each other in order to synthesize the final dendritic terpolymers are characterized in solution and in bulk and their self-assembly is also studied. A major conclusion is that specific structures are adopted which depend on the type of the core connection between the ligand and the active sites of the dendrons
