The two-dimensional problem on transmitting of the perpendicular polarized electromagnetic wave through anisotropic plane layer is reduced to the linear algebraic set of equations for Fourier transforms of the auxiliary boundary functions by the over-determined boundary value problem method. © 2008 IEEE

On reflection and refraction of the electromagnetic waves on the linear and nonlinear media interface

    Get PDF
The method of the auxiliary Cauchy problem for the Maxwell equations is used to solve the scalar problem on the fall of the plane wave on the linear and nonlinear media interface. The necessary and sufficient conditions on the traces of the Cauchy problems solutions in the upper and lower semi-spaces are obtained in terms of the Fourier transforms. The initial problem is reduced to algebraic system of equations consisting of these relations and fields conjunction condition on the media interface

Electromagnetic wave diffraction on the conducting thin screen placed on the isotropic and anisotropic media interface

The over-determined boundary value problem method in the diffraction electromagnetic waves theory is extended to the case of anisotropic media. The solvability conditions of the over-determined boundary value problems for Maxwell equations set in the anisotropic semi-space are obtained in the case of one-axis anisotropy. The representations of solutions of Maxwell equations set by traces of tangential components of the field on the boundary of domain are constructed. The problem on reflection and refraction of the electromagnetic wave on the isotropic and anisotropic media interface is considered. The integral equation is obtained to determine field perturbation of conducting thin screen placed at the media interface
