    GIS model of the basic geological map as a basis for Geodatabase of the Republic of Macedonia

    This paper presents the process of digitalization of the Basic Geological Map with scale 1:200 000 of the Republic of Macedonia in software package Maplnfo professional 8.0 as a basis for preparing geodatabase for the Republic of Macedonia. The procedure of design and implementation of a GIS project for the Basic Geological Map of the Republic of Macedonia is given, starting with the design of the database table, selecting attributes and entering vector graphical objects. Model of geodatabase is developed using latest information technologies, GIS and integrated database, allowing further development and upgrade. A list of digital data and maps that are included in the geodatabase is shown, together with the logical structure for entering data into the geodatabase and the service architecture of applications and data redundancy

    Overburden exploatation in open pit “Bucim” is performed from 3 (three) ore bodies, with least 2 (two) excavating zone. Overburden dumping is in 3 dump: two external and one internal. The need for synchronization of work is imminent, given that it is the same transport machinery - 12 trucks.     Normal geomagnetic field of the Republic of Macedonia

    The paper presents the survey results of the normal geomagnetic field in the Republic of Macedonia. Net of 15 repeat stations was created for defining the elements of the normal geomagnetic field, according to the area of the Republic of Macedonia. Selection of every repeat station was made by the standards of INTERMAGNET. Intensity of the total field vector, declination and inclination are observed during the surveying of the geomagnetic field. Maps of the geomagnetic field elements were developed using the method for data processing from the Royal Meteorological Observatory in Dourbes, Belgium. Total field vector varies in interval 1,32 ≤ ΔТ ≤ 140,34; the declination 0,0354 ≤ ΔD ≤ 0,4736 and inclination 0,0003 ≤ ΔI ≤ 0,1729. Values of horizontal, northern X, eastern Y and vertical Z component are calculated based on the relations among the geomagnetic field elements

    The purpose of this paper is to determine the optimal operating parameters of the excavator bucket wheel in different working conditions viewed from geomechanical characteristics of explored material, hydro-geological characteristics of the material and technological capabilities for the work of the excavator. In the open pit "Brod - Gneotino" discovery of coal layers is performed by two waste ETD (Excavator – Transporter – Disposal) - system so that both systems exploitation is carried out by one excavator SRs - 2000. It will show the possible technological schemes of work of the excavator bucket wheel SRs - 2000 which will be obtained the optimal parameters for the operation of the excavator in certain conditions

    This paper gives a representation of the level of groundwater in surface mining of sands and clays. Measuring of the level of groundwater is done using geoelectiric methods on tomography field. Is made an analysis of the profiles and is modeled model of groundwater level. Special comment will be given for comparative with real measured data and proposed measures for further research
