Modern air quality monitoring systems for environmental evaluation of pollution levels in the area of road intersections

    Get PDF
Monitoring of pollutions is such a system which allows to give an assessment and the pollution contents change. Direct measurement of incomplete combustion toxic products concentration of automobile fuel is the most importance for ecological assessment of atmospheric air pollution level in zone adjacent to the highway. The control for toxic components emissions into the atmosphere is particularly effective in the case of using gas sensors. This modern remote-sensing instruments of atmospheric pollution from mobile sources on the road allow to carry out monitoring of pollution in atmospheric air by toxic blowouts of automobile engines in close proximity to roadbed in real time regime

Complex application of certain micronatrients in men with androgen deficiency and pathosprimes

A complex approach was made for the deactivation of deuterine micronutrients, which include antioxidant and metabolic metabolism, in individuals with androgen deficiency and idiopathic pathospermia. It has been shown that is using the complex preparation «FEROLL» for 60 days leads to increase the parameters of the spermogram to normal values on the background of normal androgen levels of blood in these patients

    Wave-vortex interaction

We present an experimental study on the effect of a electromagneticaly generated vortex flow on parametrically amplified waves at the surface of a fluid. The underlying vortex flow, generated by a periodic Lorentz force, creates spatio-temporal fluctuations that interact nonlinearly with the standing surface waves. We characterize the bifurcation diagram and measure the power spectrum density (PSD) of the local surface wave amplitude. We show that the parametric instability threshold increases with increasing intensity of the vortex flow.Comment: 8 pages, 10 figures, submitted to Phys. Rev.

Calculation of the ultracold neutron upscattering loss probability in fluid walled storage bottles using experimental measurements of the thermomechanical properties of Fomblin

We present experimental measurements of the properties of a liquid "Fomblin" surface obtained by the quasielastic scattering of laser light. The properties include the surface tension and viscosity as a function of temperature. The results are compared to the measurements of the bulk fluid properties. We then calculate the upscattering rate of ultracold neutrons (UCN) from thermally excited surface capillary waves on the liquid surface and compare the results to experimental measurements of the UCN lifetime in Fomblin fluid-walled UCN storage bottles, and show that the excess loss rate for UCN energies near the Fomblin potential can be explained. The rapid temperature dependence of the Fomblin storage lifetime is explained by our analysis.Comment: 25 pages, 13 figures; 2nd version corrects several error

Obtaining of strong chromium pellets with the use of a ferrosilicon-calcium binder

    Get PDF
The article presents the results of research on the synthesis of strong chrome pellets based on concentrates obtained by enrichment of chrome sludge. To obtain strong fired pellets from the concentrates, it is proposed to use a ferrosilico- calcium reagent as a binder, which makes it possible to increase the strength of the pellets by 2-3 times in comparison with the technology operating at “Donskoy Ore Mining and Processing Plant”. This excludes the supply of fluxing reagents during electric arc smelting of raw materials to high-carbon ferrochrome. Pellets from concentrates obtained during the processing of tailings from the Dubersay sludge storage have increased strength up to 5 330 N/pellet at a roasting temperature of 1 200 °C
