    Participation of Parents and Community Leaders in the Implementation of Early Childhood Education Kotenwalang in Tanjung Bunga District, East Flores Regency

    This research aims to describe the form of participation of parents and community leaders in the performance of PAUD Kotenwalang at Latonliwo Village, Tanjung Bunga District, East Flores Regency. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers and student parents at PAUD Kotenwalang; as well as residents and community leaders at Latonliwo Village. Data were collected by interviews and observations during the study. The results showed that the forms of parent participation in PAUD Kotenwalang are work partners, liaison of PAUD with the home, supporter of PAUD, involved as volunteers, and supporter of educational goals. While the form of participation of community is as motivator, contributor of resources, and improving the quality of PAUD. The interesting thing found in this study was the highly involvement of parents and community leaders in the performance of PAUD Kotenwalang

    This study aims to compare reciprocal teaching styles influence, exercises and command on learning outcomes of pencak silat paleredan. Experimental research method with Pretest-Posttest Group Design research design. Samples that fulfilled the requirements were 38 people. The research found that 1) the influences of Teaching Style Reciprocal toward Learning Results Pencak Silat Tepak Paleredan, 2) There is the influence of Teaching Style Exercise on Learning Outcomes Pencak Silat Tepak Paleredan, 3) influences of Teaching Style Command on Learning Outcomes Pencak Silat Tepak Paleredan, 4) The teaching exercises style have more significant impact on learning outcomes martial test Tepak Paleredan compared Reciprocal teaching style and Command. Then it can be concluded that the three teaching styles have a significant influence on the learning outcomes of the Paleredan Pencak silat in the Universitas Nusa Cendana Penjaskesrek Academic Year 2019/202

    The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of the basic movement of jumping frogs in fourth grade students of SDI Perumnas 2 Kupang City, the method used in this study was a qualitative approach. The population used in this study was 26 students and the sample used was 12 fourth grade students. Based on the results of the study of the frog's jumping motion conducted at SDI Perumnas about frog jumping, students are still poorly understood in terms of practice caused by inadequate facilities and infrastructure for physical education subjects.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan Gerak Dasar Lompat Katak Pada Siswa  Kelas IV SDI Perumnas 2 Kota Kupang, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif, Populasi yang digunakan dalampenelitianiniyaitu 26 siswadansampel yang di gunakan  12 siswakelas IV. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian gerak lompat katak yang dilakukan di SDI Perumnas tentang lompat katak masih kurang di pahami oleh siswa dalam hal praktek yang di sebabkan oleh alat sarana dan prasarana mata pelajaran penjaskesrek yang kurang memadai.       &nbsp

    KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK KASAR ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DALAM PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL AWI ALU

    The aim is to know and describe the gross motor skills of children through the traditional Awi Alu game and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the traditional Awi Alu game. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data and research results that have been collected are then analyzed descriptively. The results of the research on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in playing the traditional games of Awi Alu at Paud Lili Maumere can be seen that the gross motor skills of children in jumping include; (1) strength aspect (2) aspect (3) aspect (4) speed aspect (5) coordination aspect. Supporting factors in the traditional game of Awi Alu, among others; (1) the students' motivation to play is quite high. (2) supporting facilities and environment for the process of implementing traditional games. While the factors that hinder the implementation of game activities include: (1) the concentration of students who fluctuate easily. (2) insufficient time to play the game. (3) the development of times and technology regarding the types of games.  Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan motorik kasar anak melalui permainan tradisional Awi Alu dan mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam permainan tradisional Awi Alu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dan hasil penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian tentang Kemampuan Motorik Kasar Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Dalam Bermain Permainan Tradisional Awi Alu Di Paud Lili Maumere dapat dilihat kemampuan motorik kasar anak dalam melompat antara lain ; (1) aspek kekuatan (2) aspek (3) aspek (4) aspek kecepatan (5) aspek koordinasi. Faktor-faktor pendukung dalam permainan tradisional Awi Alu antara lain; (1) motivasi bermain dari peserta didik yang cukup tinggi.     Senam SKJ 2018 merupakan senam yang didaur ulang dari senam SKJ 1984 yang fenomenal. Akan tetapi gaungnya belum sefenomenal senam SKJ 1984,masih banyak masyarakat bahkan guru PJOK yang belum mengetahui dengan detail tentang senam SKJ 2018, oleh karena itu Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan Dan Rekreasi Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendiidikan Undana melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ingin melakukan sosialisasi senam SKJ dan senam Kreasi kepada guru-guru yang ada di kota kupang, besar harapan jka diberi kesempatan yang lebih luas, sosialisasi ini akan diperluas ruang lingkupnya bukan hanya pada guru olahraga di kota kupang akan tetapi diseluruh kabupaten kota di propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Berdasarkan hal di atas, maka Prodi Penjaskesrek FKIP Undana terdorong untuk melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PPM) dengan Judul: SOSIALISASI SENAM SKJ 2018 DAN SENAM KREASI UNTUK GURU PJOK KOTA KUPANG. Berdasarkan analisis situasi di atas, maka yang menjadi identifikasi masalah yang dihadapi mitra adalah (1) Banyak guru PJOK dikota kupang yang belum mengetahui tentang senam SKJ 2018, (2) Berdasarkan observasi sebelumnya, banyak harapan agar dilakukan sosialisasi senam kreasi untuk menambah referensi bagi guru penjas tentang perkembangan senam yang ada. Berdasarkan identifikasi yang telah dilakukan, maka prioritas utama yang harus ditangani adalah (1) Memperkenalkan senam SKJ 2018 kepada guru PJOK kota Kupang (2) Memperkenalkan Macam-macam senam kreasi yang berkembang.     Global transformational leadership scale: cross-cultural adaptation of Indonesian sports science student context

    Transformational leadership has become an essential aspect of life skills integrated into a learning activity. At the same time, the tools for evaluating transformational leadership in the context of sports students in Indonesia still need to be improved. This study aims to adapt the global transformational leadership scale (GTLS) into the Indonesian version constructed from seven potential behaviors (vision, staff development, supportive, empowerment innovative, lead by example and charismatic). Testing content validity uses nine raters from various disciplines. Construct validity uses 297 students and concurrent validity by correlating GTLS scores with the leadership practices inventory (LPI). The data were analyzed using the Aiken formula, factor analysis, Pearson, and Cronbach's alpha with the help of the SPSS-AMOS. The result was that the seven adapted GTLS items met the Aiken validity parameter=0.74-0.96, construct validity (discriminant index=0.59-0.70; factor loading=0.63-0.77; p-value=0.000; RMR=0.013; GFI=0.961; TLI=0.952, CFI=0.968; RMSEA=0.080), concurrent validity (r=0.467), and reliability parameters=0.87. Thus, the Indonesian version of GTLS is valid and reliable for measuring transformational leadership in sports student culture. However, GTLS only facilitates members’ perceptions of their group leaders, so it is necessary to develop a GTLS scale oriented towards students perceiving their transformational leadership. These two data from different perspectives (peer and self-perception) enlarge the results of lecturers' comprehensive measurement, assessment, evaluation, and improvement of their students’ leadership

    HUBUNGAN PANJANG DAN KEKUATAN OTOT TUNGKAI BAWAH TERHADAP POWER DALAM PERMAINAN BOLA VOLI PADA CLUB UNDANA VOLLEY BALL

    Addressed Research Questions: (1) what is the correlation between the length of the lower limb and the power in the volleyball game at Undana volleyball club?; (2) What is the correlation between the lower limb muscle strength and the power in a volleyball game at Undana volleyball club?; and (3) What is the correlation between the length and the muscle strength of the lower limb to the power in the volleyball game at Undana volleyball club?This study aimed to investigate the relations of: (1) lower limb length and the power in a volleyball game at the Undana volleyball club; (2) lower limb muscle strength and the power in a volleyball game at the Undana volleyball club; and (3) the length and muscle strength of the lower limb and the power in a volleyball game at the Undana volleyball club.The study was conducted at the P2AT volleyball court in Kupang with a total of 16 female volleyball athletes from the Undana Volleyball Club. The researcher collected the data by measuring the length of lower limbs, performing lower limb muscle strength tests on the athletes due to the differences in each athlete. The result of the measurements would be compiled and analyzed to determine the conclusion. The correlation method was employed as the research method to distinguish the relationship between one variable to another.The findings showed that the test and the measurements yield the calculated r-value of lower limb length and leg muscle strength to power at a significant level of 5% and df 15 was 0.421 > r table 0.468 which meant that the length and strength of the lower limb muscles have a significant correlation to power in volleyball games at the Undana volleyball club.In conclusion, there is a significant correlation between the length and the strength of the lower limb to the power in a volleyball game at the Undana   volleyball club.  Masalah-masalah dalam yang diteliti: (1) adakah hubungan panjang tungkai terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball?, (2) adakah hubungan kekuatan otot tungkai bawah terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball? dan (3) adakah hubungan Panjang dan kekuatan otot tungkai bawah  terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara (1) panjang tungkai terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball, (2) kekuatan otot tungkai bawah terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball dan (3) panjang dan kekuatan otot tungkai bawah  terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lapangan Bola Voli P2AT Kota Kupang dengan populasi sebanyak 16 orang atlit bola voli putri club Undana volley ball. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengambil data untuk mencapai tujuan dengan mengukur panjang tungkai, tes kekuatan otot tungkai yang dimiliki oleh atlit tersebut karena setiap orang tentunya memiliki ukurannya masing-masing. Data hasil pengururan tersebut akan dikumpulkan dan diolah untuk menentukan hasil penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode korelasi dengan melihat ada tidaknya hubungan antara satu variable terhadap variable yang lain.Tes dan pengukuran tersebut menghasilkan nilai r hitung panjang tungkai dan kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap power pada taraf signifikan 5% dan df 15 adalah 0,421 > r table 0,468 yang berarti bahwa panjang dan kekuatan otot tungkai bawah memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball.Kesimpulannya, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara panjang dan kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap power dalam permainan bola voli pada club undana volley ball. &nbsp

    Mendeley adalah aplikasi manajemen referensi yang digunakan untuk mempermudah  pembuatan sitasi dan pembuatan daftar pustaka pada penulisan karya ilmiah. Tujuan Kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan baru kepada mahasiswa betapa pentingnya penerapan mendeley dalam membantu mahasiswa untuk penulisan tugas akhir. Proses penerapan mendeley dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan serta penugasan guna untuk dapat mengoperasionalkan aplikasi mendeley pada tugas akhir mahasiswa semester 9 pada program studi penjaskesrek. Hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan penerapan mendeley ini adalah dapat mempermudah mahasiswa tingkat akhir  dalam penulisan karya ilmiah

    The Effectiveness of Instruments and Norms of Physical Ability Tests for Athletes Aged 13-18 Years in East Nusa Tenggara Province

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the instrument and the norms for testing the physical ability of athletes aged 13-18 years. This type of research is descriptive research with survey techniques using the test method. The population in this study were Student Education and Training Center athletes in East Nusa Tenggara Province, totaling 69 athletes consisting of 41 boys and 28 girls. The sampling technique used in this study is nonprobability sampling of 69 athletes. The instruments used in this study were the 400 meter running test, sit and reach test, power hop test and multistage fitness test. The data obtained in this study were processed using t-test statistics with a significance level (α) = 5%. The results of research based on research and tests that have been carried out have a significant effect. Judging from the results of calculating the correlation coefficient of the influence and contribution of the old and new norms, namely: for male athletes, the value of R = correlation coefficient is equal to 0.720, while the magnitude of the contribution of the new norm to the old norm is shown by the R Square value of 0.518, which is 51.8%. Whereas for female athletes, the results obtained are R = correlation coefficient of 0.921, which means that the influence is large, while the contribution of the new norm to the old norm is shown by the R Square value of 0.849, which is 84.9%. So it can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of the instruments and norms for testing the physical ability of athletes aged 13-18 years in East Nusa Tenggara Province

    Socialization of The Teaching Games for Understanding Learning Model to School Physical Education Teacher Upper Middle School in Kupang City

    Learning physical education has a different approach from other subjects. This is due to the emphasis on the development of psychomotor aspects rather than cognitive and affective aspects. In fact, the process of learning physical education emphasizes not only psychomotor aspects but also cognitive and affective aspects simultaneously, as internationally standardized by ICHPER-SD and UNESCO that physical education and sports in schools must describe the discipline of knowledge, skills and behavior covering the domains psychomotor, cognitive, and affective. This demand results in the need for a learning approach that can involve and develop all aspects of education.The Tactics Learning Approach (TGfU) pays very broad attention to the cognitive and psychomotor domains. For example, the cognitive domain is obtained from exams in high and secondary schools. Behavioral measurement is carried out to measure the effectiveness and involvement of the game that was developed to contribute to the measurement of actions and skills that are measured in relation to the cognitive domain. Very little attention has been paid to researchers and educators in the cognitive and affective domains. The influence of work and pleasure in sports will give greater influence through game learning. For example, children, coaches and parents all need to know that games and game situations are more enjoyable than continuous, technique-oriented practice
