    Over the past decade our understanding of foot function has increased significantly. Our understanding of foot and ankle biomechanics appears to be directly correlated to advances in models used to assess and quantify kinematic parameters in gait. These advances in models in turn lead to greater detail in the data. However, we must consider that the level of complexity is determined by the question or task being analysed. This systematic review aims to provide a critical appraisal of commonly used marker sets and foot models to assess foot and ankle kinematics in a wide variety of clinical and research purposes

    A method for treating ischemia by administering deltorphins to a mammal. Deltorphin I SEQ ID NO:1, delntorphin II SEQ ID NO:2 or combinations of deltorphins I SEQ ID NO:1 and II SEQ ID NO:2 may be administered. A deltorphin concentration of about 0.5-20 mg/kg body weight, or alternatively a lower concentration of about 1-1000 μg/kg body weight of the mammal in a physiologically acceptable formulation is administered up to four hours after an ischemic episode. Deltorphins may also be administered prior to or concurrently with onset of ischemia. Cerebral or spinal cord ischemia or ischemic heart disease may be treated using the method of the invention

    The project\u27s primary goal is to research, design, and manufacture solid rocket motors for competition and hobby use. Solid rocket propulsion is one of the most common forms of propulsion and is used primarily for rocket boosters and in model rocketry. This is because unlike other forms of propulsion, the manufacturing cost is significantly lower, and the manufacturing process is less involved. This research project is primarily focused on the hobby side. The current stage of the project is to collect data from static test fires of our propellant. The data recorded will give all the information needed to predict how our propellant will burn when scaled up or down. The manufacturing of these motors is being conducted with the assistance of Embry-Riddle Future Space Explorers and Developers Society, and tests will be performed at the Northeast Florida Association of Rocketry. The end goal of this project is to manufacture low cost, high-performance rocket motors, that will be used at Spaceport America Cup
