    Research on the Application of E-commerce to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs): the Case of India

    SMEs account for a large proportion and play an important role in the development of each country in the world, including India. The globalization will bring many advantages for enterprises however SMEs will face fierce competition at the local, national and International level. In order to maintain and promote the important role of SMEs in the context of increased competition, SMEs have to change and adopt new technologies. E-commerce and digital technologies are bringing opportunities to help SMEs improve their competitiveness, narrow the gap with big enterprises thanks to their fairness and flexibility of the digital business environment.       According to UNIDO (2017), India is one of the countries successfully applying e-commerce to SMEs. Contributing to this success is the important role of the Indian government. Therefore, this paper focuses on researching the application of e-commerce to SMEs in terms of the role of government in promoting and creating an ecosystem for SMEs and e-commerce development

    In this paper, the problem of analysis and design of large-scale multiple beamforming system is considered by system theory approach. We consider the response of system parameters by set of objective functions in a critical condition, which is unable to access measurement data or the data size is large. The reduced-order model is built and the robust solution is found for a multiple beamforming system. The Monte Carlo simulation results show that the proposed multiple beamforming system yields significant performance against over existing methods

    A cross-sectional study of the antibiotic resistant prevalence of ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae in Vietnam

    Introduction: Antibiotic resistance in Enterobacteriaceae producing extended spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) is increasing. Accurate evaluation of antibiotic resistance rates in various categories of bacteria assists medical physicians in recommending suitable indications for their medical problems, improving treatment efficiency, and minimizing dangers for patients. As a result, we undertook this research to assess the prevalence of ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae as well as the rate of antibiotic resistance in ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 2716 patients at the An Giang Central General Hospital from June 2020 to June 2021. Data collection was based on interviews and used SPSS 18.0 and GraphPad Prism 9 for data analysis and presentation. Samples included urine, blood, sputum, and pus. Samples were treated with the Phoenix 100 automated machine to separate and identify samples. Results: The highest rate was 64.8% for Escherichia coli, followed by 30.2% for Klebsiella pneumoniae. Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella oxytoca were found in 4.5% and 0.6% of the samples, respectively. Ampicillin resistance was greatest in E. coli (96.5%), K. pneumonia (92.4%), and K oxytoca (83.3%). The frequency of resistance to the other antibiotics was likewise extremely high, approaching 60%. Tobramycin, Amoxicillin/Clavulanate, Cefoxitin, and Nitrofurantoin were totally resistant to K. oxytoca in the ESBL-producing group. E. coli and K. pneumoniae with ESBL-producing genes also have a high antibiotic resistance rate of more than 50%. Conclusion: E. coli was the most common pathogenic bacteria.     OPTIMIZATION OF GINGER OLEORESIN EXTRACTION FROM FRESH GINGER BY USING MICROWAVE - ASSISTED ENERGY

    Nowadays, the active compounds from natural products are interested in not only research fields but also industrial area. Steam distillation is widely employed for the isolation of bioactive substances from natural sources. However, the process is usually long time consuming, high energy consumption and unwanted chemicals can be entrained with the main products. Microwave-assisted extraction is now recognized as an efficient extraction technique that dramatically reduces extraction time, increases yields and higher quality of the extracts can be obtained. The aim of this study is evaluation of the major factors affected by operating parameters such as concentration of solvent, radiation time, ratio of microwave power to material, volume of solvent on yield of products by microwave-assisted extraction. In addition, comparison between traditional extraction methods and microwave-assisted extraction is also carried out. The results show that application of microwave energy for the extraction of active substances from fresh ginger have faster heating, reduce thermal gradients and extraction time

    LBMT team at VLSP2022-Abmusu: Hybrid method with text correlation and generative models for Vietnamese multi-document summarization

    Multi-document summarization is challenging because the summaries should not only describe the most important information from all documents but also provide a coherent interpretation of the documents. This paper proposes a method for multi-document summarization based on cluster similarity. In the extractive method we use hybrid model based on a modified version of the PageRank algorithm and a text correlation considerations mechanism. After generating summaries by selecting the most important sentences from each cluster, we apply BARTpho and ViT5 to construct the abstractive models. Both extractive and abstractive approaches were considered in this study.     Measurement of the Upper Tropospheric Density and Temperature Profiles in Hanoi Using a Raman Lidar

    The nitrogen molecular density and temperature profiles of the upper troposphere are measured by a Raman lidar system in Hanoi over the range from 3 km to 19 km. The spatial and temporal resolutions of profiles are 60 m and 1h, respectively. The nitrogen molecular density profiles are directly calculated from the range-corrected lidar signal. The temperature profiles are derived from the molecular density profile based on the assumptions of the hydrostatic equilibrium, the ideal-gas law and a fixed nitrogen molecule ratio in the atmosphere. The results of our lidar measurements show good agreement with the MSISE-90 atmospheric model. The maximum errors of density and temperature measurements are 6% and 7%, respectively. We estimated the height of tropopause in Hanoi about 16 km from the derived temperature profile. The measured density and temperature profiles from this Raman lidar can be used for studying the trends and characteristics of the upper troposphere in Hanoi

    Practice skills and compliance of private pharmacies with regulations on the prescription drug: A multi-method study in Vietnam

    Professional practice of pharmacists plays a crucial role in the reinforcement of drug retailers’ services to achieve optimal health care provision to customers. To evaluate the professional skills and compliance of retail pharmacy staff with selling prescription drugs by surveying patients’ knowledge of drugs and role-playing the customer buying antibiotics without a prescription. A cross-sectional study was conducted with two kinds of surveys at 480 drug retail establishments using the cluster sample technique among 12 provinces/cities in Vietnam. Clients were interviewed to assess their knowledge about drugs. Moreover, the method of acting as a client was used in two common scenarios in order to evaluate the implementation of professional regulations and professional practice skills of drug sellers: a child acute respiratory infection (ARI) case and an amoxicillin case without a prescription. The data were presented as frequency and percentage. The basic tests were used to compare the ratios and means between the two groups. The total number of interviewed customers was 2389 while the figure for role-playing was 960 cases. When customers buy medications with a prescription, 100% of those were fully aware of the dosage of the drugs they purchased, which was higher than the scenario of buying without a prescription (93.1%). In role-play scenarios, the rate of drug sellers asking patients to explore information was higher in the ARI children case than in the amoxicillin case. Besides, 100% of customers were consulted on treatment in both cases, and the rate of advising was at a low rate in both scenarios 3.8% in the amoxicillin case compared to 15.4% in the ARI case. Drug sellers did not respond well to requirements in professional practice and were influenced by economic concerns in business

    Ho Chi Minh's Thoughts On Control Of The State's Power And Lessons For Vietnam

    In Vietnam, the State’s power is unified, agencies shall assign, coordinate and control each other in the exercises of the legislative, executive, and judicial powers. This is necessary to prevent abuse of power and ensure the state’s power. The Constitution 1946 was written by Ho Chi Minh (1890 -1969) and created a mechanism and foundation to control the state’s power in Vietnam. Nearly, in the Constitution 2013, the issue of controlling state power is recorded. The assignment and control are reflected in the assignment of the scope of power to each state agency. From the approach of philosophical, social philosophy, and political philosophy, through research and analysis documents in Ho Chi Minh Complete Collection; of previous researchers and policies, legal of Vietnam’s Government on control of the state's power and lessons for Vietnam today. The result shows that Ho Chi Minh’s thought on controlling power has shown the basic contents related to asserting that the power owner belongs to the people and focusing on supervision; use the Constitution to limit state power. The article also gives experiences when studying Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on state power control over Vietnam today

    Monitoring Cirrus Cloud and Tropopause Height over Hanoi Using a Compact Lidar System

    Abstract. Cirrus clouds in the upper troposphere and the lower stratosphere have attracted great attention due to their important role and impact on the atmospheric radioactive balance. Because cirrus clouds are located high in the atmosphere, their study requires a high resolution remote sensing technique not only for detection but also for the characterization of their properties. The lidar technique with its inherent high sensitivity and resolution has become an indispensible tool for studying and improving our understanding of cirrus cloud. Using lidar technique we can simultaneously measure the cloud height, thickness and follow its temporal evolution. In this paper we describe the development of a compact and highly sensitive lidar system with the aim to remotely monitor for the first time the cirrus clouds over Hanoi (21001’42’’N, 105051’12’’W). From the lidar data collected during the year 2011. We derive the mean cloud height, location of cloud top, the cloud mean thickness and their temporal evolution. We then compare the location of the cloud top with the position of the tropopause determined the radiosonde data and found good that the distance between cloud top and tropopause remains fairly stable, indicating that generally the top of cirrus clouds is the good tracer of the tropopause. We found that the cirrus clouds are generally located at height between 11.2 to 15 km with average height of 13.4 km. Their thickness is between 0.3 and 3.8 km with average value of 1.7 km. We also compare the properties of cirrus cloud with that observed at other locations around the world based on lidar technique

    Multichannel Photon Counting Lidar Measurements Using USB-based Digital Storage Oscilloscope

    We present a simple method of making multichannel photon counting measurements of weak lidar signal from large ranges, using commonly available USB-based digital storage oscilloscopes. The single photon pulses from compact photomultiplier tubes are amplified and stretched so that the pulses are large and broad enough to be sampled efficiently by the USB oscilloscopes. A software interface written in Labview is then used to count the number of photon pulses in each of the prescribed time bins to form the histogram of LIDAR signal. This method presents a flexible alternative to the modular multichannel scalers and facilitate the development of sensitive lidar systems
