    Characteristics of binding sites of intergenic, intronic and exonic miRNAs with mRNAs of oncogenes coding intronic miRNAs

    International audienceThe interaction of 784 intergenic (ig-miRNA), 686 intronic (in-miRNA) and 49 exonic miRNAs (ex-miRNA) with mRNAs of 51 oncogenes coding in-miRNAs was investigated. Out of the studied genes, 44 were targets for 94 ig-miRNAs, 29 were targets for 44 in-miRNAs and 7 were targets for 7 ex-miRNAs. The density of miRNA binding sites was higher in 5'-untranslated regions than it was in coding sequences and 3'-untranslated regions. Three types of miRNA interaction with mRNA were revealed: 5'-dominant canonical, 3'-compensatory and complementary types. In-miRNAs do not interact with mRNAs of host genes (where in-miRNA is encoded). Linkage between some mRNAs of genes encodes in-miRNAs via other in-miRNAs was revealed. These data promote the understanding of interaction mechanism of miRNA with mRNA genes participating in gastrointestinal and breast cancers.L'interaction de miRNAs avec des mRNAs de 51 incogènes a été étudiée, Trois types d'interaction ont été mis en évidence.     Removal of Cd2+ from water by use of super-macroporous cryogels and comparison to commercial adsorbents

    In this study amphoteric cryogels were synthesized by the use of free-radical co-polymerization of acrylate-based precursors (methacrylic acid and 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propansulfonic acid) with allylamine at different ratios. The physico-chemical characteristics of the cryogels were examined using SEM/EDX, FT-IR, XPS and zeta potential measurements. The cryogels were tested toward Cd 2+ removal from aqueous solutions at various pH and initial concentrations. Equilibrium studies revealed a maximum sorption capacity in the range of 132–249 mg/g. Leaching experiments indicated the stability of Cd 2+ in the cryogel structure. Based on kinetics, equilibrium and characterization results, possible removal mechanisms are proposed, indicating a combination of ion exchange and complexation of Cd 2+ with the cryogels’ surface functional groups. The cryogels were compared to commercially available adsorbents (zeolite Y and cation exchange resin) for the removal of Cd 2+ from various water matrices (ultrapure water, tap water and river water) and the results showed that, under the experimental conditions used, the cryogels can be more effective adsorbents

    International audienceRegulatory relationships of 686 intronic miRNA and 784 intergenic miRNAs with mRNAs of 51 intronic miRNA coding genes were established. Interaction features of studied miRNAs with 5'UTR, CDS and 3'UTR of mRNA of each gene were revealed. Functional regions of mRNA were shown to be significantly heterogenous according to the number of binding sites of miRNA and to the location density of these sites.On a etabli une relation de regulation entre les miARN -intronique 686 et intergénique 784 et des ARNm de 51 genes. Des propriétés d'interaction des miARN avec les zones 5'UTR, CDS et 3'UTR des RNAm ont été mises en évidence.     Following the development of the idea of octupolar molecules as nonlinear optical materials a variety of compounds have been reported. Trans-porphyrins have a great potential to self-order into octupolar symmetry. Nonlinear optical properties can be tuned by using strong donor-acceptor groups in porphyrins as well as extention of conjugation. Here we report the syntheses of trans-A2D2-porphyrins and their dimerization into cubic octupoles by lanthanides and organic bidentate ligands. Bulky groups are employed to induce non-centrosymmetric eclipsed or staggered conformations.     El estudio realizado tuvo como objetivo general demostrar la influencia del ichu al 5%, 10% y 15% en la resistencia a la compresión de los ladrillos artesanales en Llamellin – Ancash - 2022. Los objetivos son determinar las características físicas y mecánicas del suelo; determinar las características del ichu; diseño de mezcla con adición de ichu al 5%, 10% y 15%, resistencia a la compresión de ladrillos al 0%, 5%, 10% y 15% con adición de ichu y determinar la resistencia a la compresión axial de los ladrillos al 0%, 5%, 10% y 15% con adición de ichu. Los resultados, según la clasificación SUCS, suelo arcilloso y según AASHTO, tipo A-6 (8); el ichu, material resistente e impermeable,; el peso de la muestra es de 4400kg de arcilla, con adición del ichu al 5%, 10% y 15% se añadió 220gr,440gr y 660gr de ichu respectivamente; la resistencia a la compresión del ladrillo artesanal con adiciones de Ichu al 0%, 5%,10% y 15% se obtuvo 69.16 Kg/cm², 73.55 Kg/cm², 75.61 Kg/cm², 78.44 Kg/cm² respectivamente; compresión axial de pilas con adición al 0%, 5%, 10% y 15% se obtuvo 70.51 kg/cm², 72.58 kg/cm²,75.30 kg/cm², 78.59 kg/cm² respectivamente
