Predictions for associated production of gauginos and gluinos at NLO in SUSY-QCD
NLO SUSY-QCD contributions to associated production of gluinos and gauginos
are shown to enhance the cross sections by about 10% at the Tevatron and by as
much as a factor of two at the LHC. They shift the mass determinations or
discovery limits, soften the spectra, and stabilize the predictions
against variations of the renormalization and factorization scales.Comment: 4 pages, Latex (uses Moriond style file), 8 eps-figures. Talk

Next-to-Leading Order SUSY-QCD Predictions for Associated Production of Gauginos and Gluinos
We present complete results of a next-to-leading order calculation of the
production of gaugino-like charginos (\chargino) and neutralinos
(\neutralino) in association with gluinos (\gluino) at hadron colliders,
including the strong corrections from the exchange of colored particles and
sparticles. Adopting a variety of models for the sparticle mass spectrum,
including typical supergravity (SUGRA) models and a light gluino model, we
provide predictions for total and differential cross sections at the energies
of the Fermilab Tevatron and CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC).Comment: 91 pages, Latex, including 26 figure

Supreme Bait & Switch: The Ripeness Ruse in Regulatory Takings
This Essay addresses the most recent additions roiling that swamp of the “ripeness” issue
Theft, Extortion, and the Constitution: Land Use Practice Needs an Ethical Infusion
There are many ways in which property owners/developers interact with regulators. To the extent that texts and articles deal with the ethical duties of the regulators, they tend to focus on things like conflicts of interest. But there is more. This article will examine numerous other ways in which regulators may run afoul of ethical practice in dealing with those whom they regulat

The Joy of Takings
This Essay discusses the various circumstances under which Takings Law can be litigated. Beginning with an analysis of his personal experience in litigation, Berger details significant developments in Takings Law and posits on their future in a rapidly advancing technological sphere. Berger closes by analogizing airport takings law to issues involving drones and speculates that the intersection between drones and the law will mirror that of prior takings lawsuits
