This thesis deals with the Industry 4.0 focusing on virtual manufacturing and its inte- gration into education. The aim of the thesis is to summarize and describe the Industry 4.0, and create necessary materials designed for teaching the virtual manufacturing. There is also a discussion on the real use of the virtual manufacturing and possible economic return for firms. Moreover, software programs for the virtual manufacturing available on the market, their options and their real use are also involved in the thesis. It also includes an application design for virtual manufacturing including laboratory tu- torials and the use of this application in education. There are also suggestions for other exercises that could move the teaching of the virtual manufacturing in the Czech Republic further.

Vytvořit testovací aplikaci s vytvořenými makry a ty otestovat v praxi. The aim is to create a VBS macros for working with databases, which will be managed phonebook and SMS messages and using a GSM module to send and receive messages. Create scripts for operations with alarms - seting and automatically sending. VBS macros for working with data CSV files and also create a way to control the barcode reader. Create a test application with the macros and test it in practice.

The paper discusses the possibilities of incorporating sensors and indicators into the environment of an Industry 4.0 digital factory. The concept of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) is characterized via a brief description of the RAMI 4.0 and I4.0 component model. In this context, the article outlines the structure of an I4.0 production component, interpreting such an item as a body integrating the asset and its electronic form, namely, the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). The formation of the AAS sub-models from the perspectives of identification, communication, configuration, safety, and condition monitoring is also described to complete the main analysis. Importantly, the authors utilize concrete use cases to demonstrate the roles of the given I4.0 component model and relevant SW technologies in creating the AAS. In this context, the use cases embody applications where an operator wearing a SmartJacket equipped with sensors and indicators ensures systematic data collection by passing through the manufacturing process. The set of collected information then enables the operator and the system server to monitor and intervene in the production cycle. The advantages and disadvantages of the individual scenarios are summarized to support relevant analysis of the entire problem

    Virtual Batch Manufacturing

This paper describes a possible way to create digital twin of a batch production process. This virtual model of the batch system can be used for testing ISA-88 and ISA-95 with a virtual or real PLC without real system. There is also a possible use for education in labs with PLCs to show a behavior of a batch actors (valve, mixer, heater etc.) and ways to control, which can be tested in the virtual manufacturing system
