LICOR-Liquid Columns' Resonances

The aim of the experiment LICOR was the investigation of the axial resonances oi cylindrical liquid columns supported by equal circular coaxiaJ disks. In preparation ot the D-2 experiment a •heoreiical model has been developed, which exactly describes the small amplitude oscillations of finite cylindrical columns between coaxial circular disks. In addition, in terrestrial experiments the resonance frequencies of small liquid columns with up to 5 mm in diameter have been determined and investigations with density-matched liquids (silicon oil in a waierlmethanol mixture) have been performed. For the D-2 experiment LICOR the front disk and the rear disk lor use in the AFPM have been constructed and equipped with pressure sensors and the necessary electronics. The pressure exerted by the oscillating liquid column on trie supporting disks vsas as low as 10 Pa. Since the data downlink of the Materials Research Laboratory was just one signal oer second and channel, it was necessary to determine amplitude and phase of the pressure already in the LICOR disks. The D-2 experiment has been successfully performed. It has fully confirmed the theoretical models and remarkably supplements the experiments on small liquid columns and on density-matched columns

Ordered droplets in quantum magnets with long-range interactions

A defect coupling to the square of the order parameter in a nearly quantum-critical magnet can nucleate an ordered droplet while the bulk system is in the paramagnetic phase. We study the influence of long-range spatial interactions of the form $r^{-(d+\sigma)}$ on the droplet formation. To this end, we solve a Landau-Ginzburg-Wilson free energy in saddle point approximation. The long-range interaction causes the droplet to develop an energetically unfavorable power-law tail. However, for $\sigma>0$, the free energy contribution of this tail is subleading in the limit of large droplets; and the droplet formation is controlled by the defect bulk. Effects of application mode of self-etching primer on shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets

AbstractObjectivesTo compare the effects of application mode of one self-etching adhesive on the shear bond strength of metallic orthodontic brackets.MethodsSeventy-five healthy bovine incisors were divided into 5 groups (n=15). The self-etching primer (Transbond Plus, 3M Unitek) was applied on the enamel actively and passive for 0 (control), 5 and 10s, followed by air jet application and light cured for 10s (600mW/cm2). The metal brackets were bonded with adhesive (Transbond XT) and light cured for 20s each proximal surface (mesial and distal). The shear bond strength was determined after water storage at 37°C for 24h. The specimens were tested using a universal testing machine (Instron 3342). Once debonded, each specimen was examined to identify the failure mode. The bond strength data were subjected to One-way Anova and Tukey tests (α=0.05) and failure mode data were analyzed by Kruskal–Wallis test (α=0.05).ResultsNo significant difference in bond strength was found between 5 groups. Increasing the application time and applying agitation of self-etching primers did not affect the shear bond strength (p=0.487). There were no differences between failure mode values in all tested groups (p=0.88) and score 1 was predominant.ConclusionsThe shear bond strength of the self-etching adhesive is not influenced by the application mode

Saneamiento contable y formulación de estados financieros en el Gobierno regional del Callao, periodo 2,020

Este estudio investigativo surge por la preocupación del investigador sobre estados financieros en Gobiernos regionales que no reflejan saldos confiables de un ejercicio en su estado situacional financiero. Por lo que hoy en día son documentos de presentación en fechas que correspondan para dar fe en cumplimiento. Se ha obviado la importancia y peor aún su impacto directo en la elección de opciones; por ello, se necesita de manera urgente aplicar este mecanismo de acción de control. Este estudio se origina concibiendo los estados financieros como instrumentos de un proceso eficiente, previo a la aplicación del Saneamiento Contable. Acerca de esta premisa, se ha planteado el dilema como sigue: ¿Cuál es la relación del Saneamiento Contable y su incidencia en la Formulación de los Estados Financieros del Gobierno Regional del Callao para el periodo 2,020? El mismo da lugar a la formulación del objetivo planteado de la siguiente manera: Determinar la relación del Saneamiento Contable y la Formulación de los estados Financieros del Gobierno Regional del Callao periodo 2,020. Para luego aplicar la herramienta de recopilación de informaciones y la hipótesis; en lo que se ha utilizado métodos y tácticas de fichaje, el formulario de la depuración en el ámbito de la contabilidad en forma razonable, esto tiene un grado de validación que se indica a través de las opiniones de los especialistas y confiabilidad es normal; De allí que se observe la obligatoriedad de los funcionarios públicos de ejecutar las funciones de administración requeridas hacia la verificación, estudio y saneamiento de los datos contables, conforme a lo establecido en los Arts. tercero y cuarto de la Ley 29608. La DGCP publico La Directiva 003 – 2011 – EF / 93.01, aprobado mediante R.D. 012 – 2011 – EF / 93.01. En consecuencia, se procede a las acciones de la depuración en el ámbito de la contabilidad que faciliten mostrar en los EE.FF. la representación real de su estado económico, financiero y del patrimonio, estableciendo la presencia efectiva de los patrimonios, facultades y deberes que impactan el estado patrimonial del estado, incorporado, suprimiendo o amonestando sus valoraciones conforme a su condición en el que se encuentre. Según el caso facilitando una exposición adecuada de los EE.FF. en el Gobierno Regional del Callao periodo 2,020. Guía de procesos hacia las actividades de depuración en el área de contabilidad de las organizaciones del gobierno junio 2,011 – MEF. Se concluye que hay un vínculo entre el Saneamiento Contable y las rectificaciones a los EE.FF. realizados en el Gobierno Regional del Callao para el periodo 2,020
