EFEKTIFITAS MODEL JIGSAW II DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEAHLIAN BERKOMUNIKASI, SIKAP DAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK SISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DI ACEH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana efektifitas pembelajaran koperatif Model Jigsaw II dalam meningkatkan keahlian berkomunikasi, sikap dan prestasi akademik siswa dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi. Sebanyak 60 orang siswa Kelas XI dari sebuah Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Aceh dipilih sebagai sampel dalam kajian ini. Instrumen kajian adalah kuesioner dan ujian esei pencapaian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai Alfa Cronbach bagi semua konstruk keahlian berkomunikasi dan sikap terhadap mata pelajaran ekonomi berada pada tingkat kepercayaan yang tinggi, yaitu antara 0,848 dan 0,817. Analisis statistik inferensi yaitu ujian-t, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Korelasi Pearson dan Regresi digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis pada tingkat signifikan p 0,05, dengan menggunakan Program SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Hasil kajian uji-t, ANOVA, regresi dan korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan keahlian berkomunikasi siswa dan sikap terhadap prestasi akademik siswa dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol

The Curious Case of Saloma’s Legacy: Documenting the Works of Biduan Negara

Puan Sri Datin Amar Salmah Ismail, known professionally as Saloma, is Malaysia’s own Biduan Negara. Even though most people today recognised her as the significant other of Tan Sri Dato’ Amar (Dr) P. Ramlee, Saloma’s popularity as one of Malaysia’s prominent singers is undeniable. However, given her position as Biduan Negara of Malaysia, the documentation of her legacy has reflected anything but, and this article aims to explain the problems plaguing efforts to properly document Saloma’s legacy. The list of recordings has been incomplete for years, even though attempts were made to fortify her legacy by re-releasing her recordings after her demise. Her participation on television programmes and radio recordings were also not properly documented. Her vast collections of couture have been in the storage for almost 30 years, and only a handful of attires were exhibited to the public. At the same time, her handful of appearances on films are still accessible, even though some of her earlier films are unsalvageable. Serious efforts must be taken to properly document Saloma’s legacy, as Biduan Negara is not just an ordinary title for a singer who contributed so much to Malaysia’s arts

The Effect of PAD, DAU and DAK on Poverty Rates in Java

This study was made to determine the extent of the influence of Regional Original Income (PAD), General Allocation Funds (DAU) and Special Allocation Funds (DAK) on poverty through Regional Expenditures in Bitung City. Based on the time series data for 2016-2018 and processed based on the multiple regression analysis method for testing the path analysis used, it can be seen that the relationship between PAD, DAU, DAK and poverty rates on the island of Java. The results showed that the province of West Java on PAD, DAU and DAK had a partial effect on poverty rates and PAD, DAU and DAK had a simultaneous effect on poverty rates. Central Java Province on PAD has a negative effect on poverty rates, DAU and DAK have a partial effect on poverty rates and PAD, DAU and DAK have a simultaneous effect on poverty rates. DIY Province, although PAD has a negative effect on poverty rates, DAU has an effect on poverty and DAK has no partial effect on poverty rates and PAD, DAU and DAK have a simultaneous effect on poverty rates. East Java Province, Partially PAD has no effect on poverty rates, DAU has no effect on poverty rates and DAK has no effect on poverty rates and the influence of PAD, DAU and DAK simultaneously affects poverty rates
