    The sustainable management of water and soil resources for agricultural purposes is related to the ability to store and mobilize available water for crops, particularly under a spatial analysis. The objective of the study was to design and evaluate a methodology for spatial analysis of resistance to soil penetration and infiltration on loamy-clay textures. The basic methodological principles included sampling grid planning, data capture at defined points, data fitting to empirical models, data processing, and spatial representation. A defining moment was evaluated for an established feijoa crop with permanent production. With a georeferenced rectangular sampling grid of 40m x 40m, an area of 1.36 ha was covered. Penetration resistance was measured with a penetrometer, covering 4 depths per node (sampled point). Infiltration was evaluated with ring infiltrometers. The results allowed validation of the methodology implemented through a single processing environment through RStudio. Resistance to penetration sensitively affected the variation in infiltration rates, adjusting planning activities for irrigation activities. The methodological proposal was designed to reduce processing times and graphic responses, tabulated, and integrated with a single script in the R tool, compared to traditional geostatistical techniques, which articulate the implementation of multiple tools for the generation of results.Incluye referencias bibliogr谩fica

    Introduction. Animal production technologies have allowed the efficient use of food resources to meet nutritional needs and generate food for the human population. Alternative feed sources in ruminants have been used to increase the productive and reproductive indicators. The expansion of the oil palm area (Elaeis guineensis) for biodiesel production as a renewable energy source has favoured the development of agro-industrial processes through the generation of by-products, such as glycerol, which due to its glycogenic effect, could be considered as an alternative energy source. Objective. To substantiate the nutritional effect of glycerol as a dietary supplement on the response in dairy cattle. Development. Studies have reported beneficial effects of the glycerol use as therapy in the prevention of metabolic disorders associated with the transition period, characterized by nutritional deficiencies and imbalances. Several results have shown that its response is associated with the level of inclusion (5 to 12 % DM) in the diet and the rate of disappearance at the ruminal level, which concerns the intake. Its composition varies according to the quality of the raw material (degree of impurities), which could be considered unsafe for its supply. The energy sources have shown a favourable effect on the reproductive response expressed by the increase in the ovulation rate, the improvement in the modulation of the uterine prostaglandin synthesis, better quality of oocytes, greater competition in embryonic development, and an increase in the conception rates, in which the use of glycerol could be associated. Conclusion. Glycerol could be considered an essential ingredient in diets due to its high energy value and beneficial effect on productive and reproductive indicators, however, it is necessary to expand its study.Introducci贸n. Las tecnolog铆as de producci贸n animal han permitido la utilizaci贸n eficiente de recursos alimenticios para satisfacer las necesidades nutricionales y generar alimento para la poblaci贸n humana. Fuentes alternativas de alimentaci贸n en rumiantes han sido utilizadas para el incremento de los indicadores productivos y reproductivos. La expansi贸n del 谩rea sembrada con palma de aceite (Elaeis guineensis) destinada a la producci贸n de biodiesel como fuente de energ铆a renovable, ha favorecido el desarrollo de procesos agroindustriales mediante la generaci贸n de subproductos, como el glicerol, que por su efecto glucog茅nico, podr铆a ser considerado como fuente energ茅tica alternativa. Objetivo. Fundamentar el efecto nutricional del glicerol como suplemento alimenticio sobre la respuesta en bovinos de leche. Desarrollo. Estudios han reportado efectos ben茅ficos del uso de glicerol como terapia en la prevenci贸n de trastornos metab贸licos asociados al per铆odo de transici贸n, caracterizado por deficiencias y desequilibrios nutricionales. Diversos resultados han mostrado que su respuesta est谩 asociada con el nivel de inclusi贸n (5 a 12 % MS) en la dieta y la tasa de desaparici贸n a nivel ruminal, que incide sobre la ingesta.
