Rice Mill Financial Performance of “Z” in Arah Tiga Village, Lubuk Pinang District, Mukomuko Regency

This research was conducted in Arah Tiga, Lubuk Pinang District, Mukomuko Regency.  The research area was chosen deliberately.  This study was conducted to determine the financial performance of the rice milling company ‘Z'.  Observations were made from February 2020 to March 2020.  This study used primary and secondary data.  Financial performance analysis includes current, solvency, and profitability ratios and asset turnover.  The review results show that the liquidity ratio (CR) averages 4.27.  It means it is safe and very unhealthy.  Thus, the average debt service obligation (DAR) of assets or resources is 26.49%, which means the assets or resources are protected or healthy.  In addition, the average debt service obligation (DER) is 102.87%, which means it is prudent or not profitable.  The Total Assets Ratio (ROA) is an average of 44.84%, which means it is protected, and the Return on Earnings (ROE) is an average of 163.43%.  Because the average FATO value is 0.007, activity performance is classified as unable to increase asset capacity

Enhancing the Entrepreneurial Capabilities of PKK Mothers through Training on a Variety of Healthy Snack Foods

Along with the increasingly diverse demand in the field of daily food needs, especially for food, the snack food business is a business opportunity for PKK mothers to support their household economy. To increase knowledge and skills in running a food snack business, PKK mothers need entrepreneurship training in various healthy food snacks. This causes some PKK mothers to be constrained by limited knowledge in making various contemporary snack foods that are following market demand, have not been able to calculate capital or the cost of goods, and do not understand how to sell online. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training on making various healthy snack foods for PKK mothers, calculating the cost of goods produced, and providing training on promotional and marketing techniques online. The results of this activity are: 1) The knowledge and skills of the trainees' mothers in making various healthy snacks increased, 2) The trainee mothers were able to calculate the cost of goods produced and set the selling price of products, increased knowledge and skills in online-based marketing, were able to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit of PKK mothers, the household food consumption of PKK mothers of the training participants was increasingly diverse,  and the mothers of the trainees as a whole were satisfied with this service activity

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT OF DAIRY FARMS BY USING SWOT ANALYSIS IN PROVINCE BENGKULU

Compared to imported milk, milk production is much lower. It is necessary to create new milk producing areas outside Java, such as Bengkulu Province which is ideal for dairy farming. This study aims to determine the strategy of dairy farming in Bengkulu Province. The method used in this research is the SWOT anaysis method. Research on dairy farms in Bengkulu Province, precisely in the Districts of Kepahiang and Rejang Lebong, uses a purposive method. The research took place between October 2019 and January 2020. The sampIing technique was carried out by direct interviews with 20 respondents and two experts. The results showed that the cattle development strategy must use a strategy between strengths and weaknesses, namely an aggressive strategy. It is recommended that every stakeholder, including local government, should make an aggressive strategic plan and implement it in an effective program to increase the effectiveness of the alternative methods that have been developed. ANALISIS FUNGSI PRODUKSI DAN EFISIENSI ALOKATIF TAMBAK KERANG DARAH (Anadara granosa) DI DESA PANIPAHAN KABUPATEN ROKAN HILIR PROVINSI RIAU

The purpose of this research is 1) to determine the factors that affect the production of blood cockles pond in Panipahan Village Rokan Hilir District Riau Province, 2) to analyse the level of allocative efficiency of using production factors in the blood cockles pond cultivation in Panipahan Village Rokan Hilir District  Riau Province, The samples of this research were 57 farmers of blood cockles pond taken based on the census. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, allocative efficiency analysis and cost analysis. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence the production of blood clam ponds are the area of the pond and the seeds of blood clams. Allocatively, the use of production factors in the cultivation of blood clam ponds in Panipahan Village is not efficient

IDENTIFIKASI KELEMBAGAAN LOKAL DALAM RANGKA IMPLEMENTASI DAERAH PERLINDUNGAN LAUT BERBASIS MASYARAKAT (DPL-BM) DI KOMUNITAS DESA SEKUNYIT KABUPATEN KAUR

This research is aimed to identify the local institutions as a basic for  DPL-BM implementation, located in Sekunyit  village,  Kaur Selatan sub-district, district of Kaur.  Qualitatif data obtained from Focus Group Discussion (FGD)  and Key persons who are resourceable dan knowlegeble in the term of local institutions. This research was done in February and December 2009. The results are (1) As a general the condition of Socio-Economics of Desa Sekunyit People doing the occupation Fishermen dan Farmers, especially  rainfed paddy, (2) Local institusion which is existing Farmer Group, coopperatives, Fishermen group, PKK, and religius group (pengajian), dan (3) DPL-BM institution founded is the modification of local institution. DPL-BM consisfs of DPL institution for men, Nafkah ganda group for women. ROOT MAP OF RISK, PERCEPTION AND ACTION AT RETAIL TRADERS OF HONEY WATERMELON

The front side of the coin represents business potential, while the reverse side depicts the associated business hazards, indicating that risk is an important component of enterprise. The root cause of the risk, which can be used to decide what action to take, can be difficult to identify, when the hazard is not clearly characterized, as this may result in action simply covering the risk. Similar concerns exist in the honey watermelon business. This study involved 28 fruit traders (retailers) who were selected based on the census method. This research has three objectives. First, find out the root cause (risk) of the honey water melon trade to fruit traders in Bengkulu City by using the Ishikawa diagram analysis tool (risk causal map analysis). The research results obtained are prejudiced. Second, to find out the perceptions of fruit traders on the risks of the honey watermelon trade in Bengkulu City using the Likert-scale-analysis tool, the results are 75% categorized as neutral. Third, to find out the actions of the trader group on the risk of buying and selling honey melon.  iIt is  mostly carried out in Bengkulu City using a qualitative descriptive analysis tool, and the research results obtained by the traders choose to do research (examine) and carry out risk identification

ANALYSIS OF THE MARKETING EFFICIENCY OF THE RED CURLY CHILI (Capsicum annuum L.) IN KEPAHIANG DISTRICT

This Research is conducted in Kepahiang Regency. The location of the study is selected purposely (deliberately) by considering that the area is one of the production centers of curly red chili in Bengkulu Province. The purpose of this study is to analyze the marketing efficiency performed by the marketing agents of curly red chili in Kepahiang Regency. The samples in this study are 37 chili farmers, 11 collectors, 4 intercity traders, and 12 retailers who sell to the final consumer. This study uses primary data. Marketing efficiency is analyzed through marketing channel, analysis of marketing margin, and Farmer's share, as the efficiency measurement scale. Financial Performance Of Lump Auction (Case Study Of Kud Berkat In Muaraenim Regency, South Sumatra Province)

This study aims to analyze financial performance of at  KUD  Berkat in 2011 to 2016  and to analyze the contribution of profit share auction business unit to total profit share KUD Berkat. The study was conducted from April to May 2017. The respondents were 15 KUD officials. The financial performance KUD Berkat was analyzed with time series datMica for the 6 last years with liquidity, solvability, activity, and profitability ratios based on Regulation of State Minister of Cooperative and Small-Micro Business Republic of Indonesia Number.06/Per/M.KUKM/V/2006. The conclusion of this research is that financial analysis based on liquidity, solvability, and profitability ratios at KUD Berkat during 6 last years in healthy condition. While the activity ratio is very unhealthy. It means the turnover of receivables into cash is slow. The contribution of Auction and marketing of lump rubber to total business profit KUD Berkat at the last six years constant.

ANALISIS ORIENTASI PASAR DAN STRATEGI BAURAN PEMASARAN PENGUSAHA ROTI DI KOTA BENGKULU

This research is aimed at investigating market posisition and market orientation of bakery producers, and designing mix marketing strategy for bakery producers in Bengkulu city.  Four bakery producers, namely Surya Bakery, Bake Mart, Karina Bakery and Ais Bakery, are selected purposively as subject of this study.  Sixty eight respondents are selected using accidental sampling method for UAI survey, and 4 respondents for each bakery. Relative Market Share  and descriptive analysis are used to analyse data obtained from survay. The research found that Surya Bakery can be categorised as market leader, while Bake Mart, Karina Bakery, and Ais Bakery as market challanger, market follower, and market nicher respectively.  All bakery producers has custumer orientation.  The study also concluded that Surya Bakery should enlarge its market and intisifies promotion, Bake Mart should enlarge its distribution network, Karina Bakery should expose its specific shop and Ais Bakery should find new market segment. Keywords: Market Orientation, Marketing mix, Bread enterpreneu
