A local optimization technique for the solution of the problem of nonlinear seismic tomography
AbstractA new method for the solution of the inverse kinematic problem of seismics which is based on the local optimization approach is presented. The method has higher stability and performance in comparison to the known methods and can be well adapted to the real data
Gold(I) Complex [(Phen)2H][Au(SCN)2]: Synthesis and Properties
[(Phen)2H]Au(SCN)2] complex was synthesized from aqueous solutions of auric chloride acid, potassium thiocyanate, and an acetone solution of 1,10-phenanthroline. The oxidation number +1 for gold is evidenced by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and by the synthesis of the complex with preliminary reduction of Au(III) to Au(I) by means of sodium sulfite. The presence of [(Phen)2H]+ and thiocyanate groups coordinated to gold through sulfur atoms is confirmed by IR spectroscopy
