Aim: To find out the chemical equivalence of metformin 500mg of five different manufacturers. Materials and methods: Quantitative analysis of five different brand of metformin 500mg was done by spectrophotometry. The reproducibility was tested. Throughout the study quantitative analyst was kept blind of the product. Results: The results were analysed to find out the chemical equivalence of metformin 500mg. It was found to be chemically equivalent. Conclusion: The above study revealed the assay purity of metformin 500mg of five different brands, to that of Indian pharmacopoeia prescribed standards

BIOANALYTICAL METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF NIRAPARIB IN PLASMA SAMPLES BY LC-MS/MS

In this manuscript, authors developed a simple, sensitive and specific liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) method was used for quantification of Niraparib in plasma samples. Zorbax SB-C18, 4.6 x 75 mm, 3.5 μm, 80 Å column, 5mM ammonium acetate: methanol (30:70 v/v) mobile phase was used for Chromatographic separation of Niraparib. MRM positive mode was used to detect the Niraparib at 321.5195.4. Liquid-liquid extraction was employed in the extraction of analytes from human plasma. This method is validated over a linear concentration range of 10.0 – 10000.0 pg/mL with a correlation coefficient (r) of ≥ 0.9997. CONSEQUÊNCIAS DO CORONAVÍRUS NO AGRONEGÓCIO BRASILEIRO E SUA RELAÇÃO COM O PRODUTO INTERNO BRUTO

O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar as consequências da pandemia sobre o agronegócio brasileiro e a sua relação com o Produto Interno Bruto (PIB). Por meio de uma análise de planilhas divulgadas pelo CEPEA e um estudo dos indicadores de endividamento e rentabilidade de dezoito empresas do ramo do agronegócio, listadas no setor de consumo não cíclico da B3 S.A. A coleta dos dados financeiros das empresas foi por meio da base de dados Economática. A pesquisa é caracteriza como descritiva e quantitativa, com procedimento documental, cujo recorte longitudinal de análise dos dados foi feito entre 2019 e 2020, visto que representa o espaço temporal de maior impacto para os indicadores, em decorrência da pandemia da Covid-19. Para se estabelecer a relação entre o índice econômico (PIB) e os indicadores econômico-financeiros das empresas do agronegócio, a pesquisa utilizou a Correlação de Pearson como ferramenta estatística. Os achados do estudo indicam que 89% das empresas do agronegócio aumentaram suas receitas no ano da pandemia, através da demanda por commodities agrícolas. Uma alta no valor agregado do setor foi evidenciada com inserção de novos mercados internacionais, favorecido através do aumento do dólar. O agronegócio se mostrou forte e eficaz através de sua participação de 26,6% no PIB do país, essa foi sua maior marca na série histórica, mostrando que o agronegócio é um setor resiliente, promissor e competitivo mesmo em meio a uma crise sanitária e econômica
