Evaluation der Lehre an der Medizinischen Fakultät Münster:Ergebnisse der Studentischen Lehrveranstaltungskritik und Ergebnisse von Prüfungsleistungen als Faktoren für die Qualität der Lehre?

Im Rahmen von Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen wurden Daten und Informationen vom Sommersemester 05/06 bis Wintersemester 06/07 erhoben. Bei einer Rücklaufquote von M = 81% der eingesetzten validen Fragebögen zur studentischen Lehrveranstaltungskritik betrug der Fakultätsdurchschnitt in der Lehrveranstaltungsbewertung 32 (1 = sehr gut, 100 = sehr schlecht). In der Reliabilitätsanalyse des Vorlesungsfragebogens zeigt sich der häufige Dozentenwechsel als ein Faktor für eine schlecht bewertete Lehrveranstaltung. Die größte Aufklärung in der Regressionsanalyse gab es zwischen dem Item Skala bzw. Note und Förderung des Interesses am Themenbereich des Faches. Die größte Aufklärung in der Regressionsanalyse des Seminarfragebogens mit der unabhängigen Variablen Skala gab es mit dem Frageitem “die Inhalte waren interessant“. Das Ergebnis der Kategorisierung der Studierendenkommentare zur Studentischen Veranstaltungskritik deckt sich mit den statistischen Ergebnissen der eingesetzten Fragebögen

Способ обработки крупногабаритных деталей

В данной статье приведены результаты исследования проблем обработки крупногабаритных деталей в условиях машиностроительных заводов Республики Казахстан. Исследования показали, что при обработке крупногабаритных деталей из труднообрабатываемых материалов возникают осевые и поперечные колебания, которые отрицательно сказываются на точности обработки и на стойкости режущего инструмента. Кроме этого существует проблема обработки крупногабаритных деталей с функционально связанными поверхностями. Для решения данных проблем предлагаются комбинированные способы обработки.This article presents the results of a study of the state of the problem of processing largesized parts in the conditions of machine-building plants of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK). Studies have shown that when machining large parts from hard-to-digest materials, axial and lateral vibrations arise, which adversely affect machining accuracy and the resistance of the cutting tool. Understanding Breastfeeding Initiation and Continuation in Rural Communities: A Combined Qualitative/Quantitative Approach

OBJECTIVE: To determine factors associated with breastfeeding in rural communities. METHODS: We combined qualitative and quantitative data from the Family Life Project, consisting of: (1) a longitudinal cohort study (N = 1292) of infants born September 2003–2004 and (2) a parallel ethnographic study (N = 30 families). Demographic characteristics, maternal and infant health factors, and health services were used to predict breastfeeding initiation and discontinuation using logistic and Cox regression models, respectively. Ethnographic interviews identified additional reasons for not initiating or continuing breastfeeding. RESULTS: Fifty-five percent of women initiated breastfeeding and 18% continued for at least 6 months. Maternal employment at 2 months and receiving WIC were associated with decreased breastfeeding initiation and continuation. Ethnographic data suggested that many women had never even considered breastfeeding and often discontinued breastfeeding due to discomfort, embarrassment, and lack of assistance. CONCLUSIONS: Breastfeeding rates in these rural communities lag behind national averages. Opportunities for increasing breastfeeding in rural communities include enhancing workplace support, maximizing the role of WIC, increasing hospital breastfeeding assistance, and creating a social environment in which breastfeeding is normative
