    Non-extensive study of Rigid and Non-rigid Rotators

    The isotropic rigid and non-rigid rotators in the framework of Tsallis statistics are studied in the high and low temperature limits. The generalized partition functions, internal energies and heat capacities are calculated. It has been found that results are in well agreement with the classical Boltzmann-Gibbs statistics in the limiting Tsallis index.     Quantum Mechanical Treatment of the Problem of Constraints in Nonextensive Formalism Revisited

    The purity of Werner state in nonextensive formalism associated with two different constraints has been calculated in a previous paper by G. B. Bagci et al. [G. B. Bagci et al., Int. J. Mod. Phys. 20, 2085 (2006)]. Two different results have been obtained corresponding to ordinary probability and escort probability whereas the former has been shown to result in negative values thereby leading authors to deduce the advantage of escort probabilities over ordinary probabilities. However, this results have been only for a limited interval of q values which lie between 0 and 1. In this paper, we solve the same problem for all values of nonextensive index q by using a perturbative approach and show that the simultaneous use of both types of constraint is necessary in order to obtain the solution for whole spectrum of nonextensive index. In this sense, the existence of these different constraints in nonextensive formalism must not be seen as a deficiency in the formalism but rather must be welcomed as a means of providing solution for all values of parameter q.Comment: 7 page

    A perturbative treatment for the energy levels of neutral atoms

    Energy levels of neutral atoms have been re-examined by applying an alternative perturbative scheme in solving the Schrodinger equation for the Yukawa potential model with a modified screening parameter. The predicted shell binding energies are found to be quite accurate over the entire range of the atomic number ZZ up to 84 and compare very well with those obtained within the framework of hyper-virial-Pade scheme and the method of shifted large-N expansion. It is observed that the new perturbative method may also be applied to the other areas of atomic physics.Comment: 18 page

    Enzyme activities and growth promotion of spinach by indole-3-acetic acid-producing rhizobacteria

    The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of twelve plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR; Bacillus mycoides FD07, B. sphaericus RC12, B. pumilus RC19, B. cereus RC18, Variovorax paradoxus RC21, Paenibacillus polymyxa RC35, Pseudomonas putida RC06, B. megaterium RC07, B. megaterium M-3, B. licheniformis RC08, B. subtilis RC11, and B. subtilis OSU-142) used as biofertilisers, on various enzyme activities [glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD); 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase (6PGD); glutathione reductase (GR); and glutathione S-transferase (GST)] and on seedling growth in spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.). Enhanced plant growth could result from rhizobacterial production of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA). The highest IAA-producing rhizobacteria (RC35 and RC06) produced the highest root and shoot weights. PGPR improved N and P nutrition in spinach, and therefore stimulated plant growth and key enzyme activities. The responses to inoculation, compared to uninoculated control plants, were: –1.9% to +36.4% for shoot fresh weights (FWs), –5.5% to +30.1% for root FWs, –3.5% to +29.8% for shoot dry weights (DWs), –3.8% to +38.5% for root DWs, and –5.9% to +30.1% for leaf areas. Plant growth responses were variable and dependent on the inoculant strain used, as well as on the enzyme activity and growth parameter being evaluated. Close correlations between plant shoot growth, PGPR inoculation, and G6PD (r = 0.28*), 6PGD (r = 0.55**), GR (r = 0.73**), and GST (r = 0. 64**) enzyme activities in spinach have been demonstrated

    Problems and contradictions of the financial system of the agro-business industry of Russia in contemporary conditions and methodological aspects of their overcoming

    The article deals with the problems related to financial provision of investing activities of agribusiness industry as the most important sector of the Russian economy, as well as the ways of overcoming these problems. The authors formulated main concerns hindering economic growth and development of Russian agribusiness industry, and substantiated the dependence of the economic development of the agribusiness industry on the level, content, and mechanism of financial support. The article refines the major contradictions in the financial security of agribusiness industry developments, which reduces the level of financing and contributes to the emergence of disproportions in terms of both the industry-specific aspect and the territorial (regional) aspect in the development of the agricultural sector of the economy. It is proved that in spite of excessive government centralization of financial resources in the state budget, solutions to the critical national problems on the social arrangement of the agricultural regions and financial support of the needs of agribusiness industry are not achieved yet. The authors give critical assessment of financial and credit policy of the Bank of Russia, which led to the monopolization of the financial market and the emergence of speculative and often criminal banking operations to extract excessively high income. It is noted that wrong state policy has resulted in a significant differentiation in the development of Russian regions. The authors prove the necessity to align socio-economic development of agrarian regions in Russia and create their own food economy by ensuring the development of agricultural production with due considerations of climatic and other conditions characteristic of the various regions. The article reveals also causes and contradictions hindering financial well-being of enterprises of agro-industrial complex, substantiating and systemizing main objectives, methodological approaches, and organizational measures aimed at overcoming these contradictions in the development of financial support in Russia in the current context. Provision of financial resources in accordance with the proposed approaches and measures will allow comprehensively solving problems concerned both the development of infrastructure in rural areas, and peculiarly, the strengthening and growth of agricultural production.peer-reviewe

    AbstractWheel Eurocycle (EC) loading condition could be adapted to hub as a result of similar loading characteristics on vehicle. A correlation is constructed between road load data (RLD) for specified vehicles and EC test spectrum. To provide correlation between EC and RLD, test speed, axial and lateral loads at EC are converted to cyclic loading condition and relevant loading scenarios are generated. Rotational effect is taken into account. Pseudo-damage results of RLD and EC spectra are compared and expected fatigue lifetime for hub is presented

A free parameter is used in the transformation of the wave function.     Development of an approximate method for quantum optical models and their pseudo-Hermicity

    An approximate method is suggested to obtain analytical expressions for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the some quantum optical models. The method is based on the Lie-type transformation of the Hamiltonians. In a particular case it is demonstrated that E×ϵE\times \epsilon Jahn-Teller Hamiltonian can easily be solved within the framework of the suggested approximation. The method presented here is conceptually simple and can easily be extended to the other quantum optical models. We also show that for a purely imaginary coupling the E×ϵE\times \epsilon Hamiltonian becomes non-Hermitian but Pσ0P\sigma _{0}-symmetric.
