    Centrifugal force in Kerr geometry

We have obtained the correct expression for the centrifugal force acting on a particle at the equatorial circumference of a rotating body in the locally non-rotating frame of the Kerr geometry. Using this expression for the equilibrium of an element on the surface of a slowly rotating Maclaurin spheroid, we obtain the expression for the ellipticity (as discussed earlier by Abramowicz and Miller) and determine the radius at which the ellipticity is maximum.Comment: 6 pages, LateX macro

Group Decision Making in Conditions of Uncertainty using Fermat’s Weak Fuzzy Graphs and Beal’s Weak Fuzzy Graphs

Decision making is a process of solving problems for choosing the best alternative. The best way to illustrate the alternatives and relation between them is a graph. Developing a fuzzy graph is the convenient way of illutration if there is uncertainty in alternatives or in their relation. In group decision making problems, according to a group of experts, the relation between alternatives involves measure of preference and non preference. Intuitionistic fuzzy graph has limitations to model such problems. In n- Pythagorean fuzzy graphs the hesitancy degree and other decision tools are restricted to second degree. To overcome the flaws of intuitionistic fuzzy graphs and n- Pythagorean fuzzy graphs, we introduced Fermat’s Fuzzy Graphs in 2022. In this  paper the decision tools are generalized for Fermat’s Fuzzy Graphs. A practical example of selection of investement scheme is illustrated. Finally, Beal’s Fuzzy graphs is developed as generalization of Fermat’s Fuzzy Graphs

Atomic Bloch-Zener oscillations for sensitive force measurements in a cavity

Cold atoms in an optical lattice execute Bloch-Zener oscillations when they are accelerated. We have performed a theoretical investigation into the case when the optical lattice is the intra-cavity field of a driven Fabry-Perot resonator. When the atoms oscillate inside the resonator, we find that their back-action modulates the phase and intensity of the light transmitted through the cavity. We solve the coupled atom-light equations self-consistently and show that, remarkably, the Bloch period is unaffected by this back-action. The transmitted light provides a way to observe the oscillation continuously, allowing high precision measurements to be made with a small cloud of atoms.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures. Aim and Objectives: The aim of the study was to study the serum zinc (Zn) levels, safety, and efficacy of Zn supplementation in pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) patients. Methods: A randomized single-blinded study of two groups: Group A received conventional TB therapy while Group B received conventional TB therapy along with 15 mg of Zn tablet. 40 patients were assigned in each group by randomized permuted blocks. Results: After 8 weeks of treatment in Group A 27 patients and Group B 36 patients were found to be sputum negative with p=0.0421 and 0.0629. After 24 weeks of treatment in Group A 37 patients and Group B 40 patients were found to be sputum negative with p=0.00976 and 0.00971. By this, the given treatment was effective in the patients with PTB.Conclusion: Zn supplementation improves the effect of TB medication treatment and results in earlier sputum smear conversion

Sustainable Development and Best Management Practices in the Food Processing Industry

It is well known that sustainable development refers to meeting the needs and requirements of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This concept has become the core issues in the food processing industry as well. Food processing industry can be defined as the method and techniques used to transform raw ingredients into food for human consumption. The present paper is an attempt to study sustainable development that involves issues like organic farming, food safety and food quality. This paper highlights on the concept of green food system and the approach of good agricultural practices (GAP) which is a new concept that stresses on international quality standards, concerns and commitments about food production, food safety and security, environment sustainability of agriculture. Quality management is equally important in the food industry. Food processing is a capital intensive, water consuming and a polluting industry
