    Natural Regulation of Energy Flow in a Green Quantum Photocell

    Manipulating the flow of energy in nanoscale and molecular photonic devices is of both fundamental interest and central importance for applications in light harvesting optoelectronics. Under erratic solar irradiance conditions, unregulated power fluctuations in a light harvesting photocell lead to inefficient energy storage in conventional solar cells and potentially fatal oxidative damage in photosynthesis. Here, we show that regulation against these fluctuations arises naturally within a two-channel quantum heat engine photocell, thus enabling the efficient conversion of varying incident solar spectrum at Earth's surface. Remarkably, absorption in the green portion of the spectrum is avoided, as it provides no inherent regulatory benefit. Our findings illuminate a quantum structural origin of regulation, provide a novel optoelectronic design strategy, and may elucidate the link between photoprotection in photosynthesis and the predominance of green plants on Earth.Comment: 17 pages, 4 figure

    The competitiveness of private schools can be seen from the school accreditation ratings. Private schools that have low accreditation values require strategies to improve their competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategic position of private schools in Tangerang using Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, study of literature and documents, and questionnaires. Data analysis uses IFAS and EFAS, a SWOT analysis to analyze internal and external factors, Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats to obtain a strategic position. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the schools analyzed are in quadrant IV (Weaknesses - Threats), which means the school is in the level of survival. Schools must be able to fix internal weaknesses to avoid and reduce threats. The threat of competition from other schools can be minimized by making unique competition as a differentiator among similar schools

    Universality of the single-particle spectra of cuprate superconductors

    All the available data for the dispersion and linewidth of the single-particle spectra above the superconducting gap and the pseudogap in metallic cuprates for any doping has universal features. The linewidth is linear in energy below a scale ωc\omega_c and constant above. The cusp in the linewidth at ωc\omega_c mandates, due to causality, a "waterfall", i.e., a vertical feature in the dispersion. These features are predicted by a recent microscopic theory. We find that all data can be quantitatively fitted by the theory with a coupling constant λ0\lambda_0 and an upper cutoff at ωc\omega_c which vary by less than 50% among the different cuprates and for varying dopings.     Dalam masayarakat mulitikultural pertukaran budaya pasti terjadi. Komunikasi antarbudaya muncul untuk menjembatani masyarakat multikultural dalam berinteraksi satu sama lain. Strategi komunikasi penting dilakukan untuk memahami pesan-pesan dari bahasa yang berbeda dalam interaksi komunikasi. Seperti halnya bahasa Madura dan Jawa digunakan dalam interaksi komunikasi pedagang dengan pembeli di pasar Tanjung Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosisolinguistik yang dikemukakan oleh Chaer dan Agustina. Dengan metode yang digunakan berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Kehidupan masyarakat yang dikelilingi budaya berbeda-beda, menjadikan hambatan dalam berkomunikasi juga penting untuk dipahami dan mencarikan solusi yang tepat berdasarkan pada kajian komunikasi antarbudaya. Pada akhirnya dapat disimpulkan, strategi yang digunakan dalam interaksi komunikasi pedagang dan pembeli di pasar Tanjung berupa pemilihan bahasa, pemaknaan pesan dan penggunaan etika komunikasi. Hasil penelitian iniengungkap strategi pemilihan bahasa oleh pedagang berwujud alih kode, campur kode, dan tunggal bahasa. Penyampaian pesan dari seluruh data dilakukan secara verbal langsung, pesan pada keseluruhan data interaksi komunikasi berupa pernyataan, pertanyaan, permintaan, dan penawaran. Etika komunikasi antarbudaya yang digunakan penjual diantaranya etika kesopanan dan etika kesatuan bahasa.     Random Forest Algorithm for Prediction of Precipitation

    Predicting rainfall needs to be done as one of such effort to anticipate water flooding. One of the algorithm that can be used to predict rainfall is random forest. The porpose of the research is to create a model by implementing random forest algorithm. The research method consist of four steps: data collection, data processing, random forest implementation, analysis. Random forest implementation with using training set resulted model that has accurracy 71,09%, precision 0.75, recall 0.85, f-measure 0.79, kappa statistic 0.33, MAE 0.35, RMSE 0.46, ROC Area 0.78. Implementation of random forest algorithm with 10-fold cross validation resulted the output with accurracy 99.45%, precision 0.99, recall 0.99, f-measure 0.99, kappa statistic 0.99, MAE 0,09, RMSE 0.14, ROC area 1
