    What is an adult educationist and why they need to be professional?

    Usually three types of agents (stakeholders) are associated with adult education: professionals, employers and training providers. Analysis shows that division of adult education actors into three abovementioned categories is too limited. Adult education professionals and adult education has relations with much bigger number of agents (stakeholders) including representatives from culture, social, education spheres and business world and others. Relationships with those agents requite expansion of adult education professionals' managerial competences such as public relations and communication, public policy analysis and lobbying and others. It is very important for the development of adult education system that other agents have necessary understanding about necessity of adult education, of its functioning and of its financing.
