Higher Dimensional Taub-NUTs and Taub-Bolts in Einstein-Maxwell Gravity

We present a class of higher dimensional solutions to Einstein-Maxwell equations in d-dimensions. These solutions are asymptotically locally flat, de-Sitter, or anti-de Sitter space-times. The solutions we obtained depend on two extra parameters other than the mass and the nut charge. These two parameters are the electric charge, q and the electric potential at infinity, V, which has a non-trivial contribution. We Analyze the conditions one can impose to obtain Taub-Nut or Taub-Bolt space-times, including the four-dimensional case. We found that in the nut case these conditions coincide with that coming from the regularity of the one-form potential at the horizon. Furthermore, the mass parameter for the higher dimensional solutions depends on the nut charge and the electric charge or the potential at infinity.Comment: 11 pages, LaTe

We investigate the impact of information systems management on human resource development at the Jordan Commercial Bank (JCB). The study’s sample consists of (192) employers, division chief, and manager who work in the JCB and its branches spread all over Jordan. To achieve the goals of this study a questionnaire is designed to estimate the impact of applying information systems management (building an infrastructure and improving strategic planning) on human resource development in the Jordan Commercial Bank by measuring professional growth, staff performance, and staff satisfaction as a human resource development domains. It is shown that: i) the range of information system management at the JCB has a significant positive effect in terms of organizational performance and strategic planning “from the organizational perspective”, likewise, the professional growth, job satisfaction and performance of the employees “from the personal perspective”, ii) the range of human resource development at JCB is medium, iii) there is a significant statistical effect of information system management on human resource development at JCB, iv) there is a significant statistical effect on the elements of information system management (professional development, staff performance, and staff satisfaction), v) there are no effects of (gender, employment position, and experience) on both information system management and human resource development. The research recommends that (JCB) management should concentrate on the staff satisfaction domain by giving promotions and some privileges and (JCB) management should exchange experiences with local and international banks

    E-Learning Readiness of Jordanian Universities

E-learning became very important to the universities success and it considered as one of the key success factors, in which it’s enhanced the competitive advantage and help in competing strongly in the market. Using Information technologies and sharing tools will add value to the educational process and by using these tools; the universities will have the power of innovation and creativity. E-learning helps in developing, managing and maintaining the students knowledge, on the other hand, it enhances the performance and learning capacity to remain innovation and competitive. This paper is measuring the readiness of the Jordanian universities for e-learning. It presents the main findings of a survey conducted to evaluate the e-learning readiness. The survey helped in analyzing three levels used for the measurement: ICT infrastructure, universities lecturers and students’ readiness, and the maturity of the external environment. Keywords: E-learning, IT infrastructure, Demand, External Environment, and HR readiness

Scale without Conformal Invariance at Three Loops

We carry out a three-loop computation that establishes the existence of scale without conformal invariance in dimensional regularization with the MS scheme in d=4-epsilon spacetime dimensions. We also comment on the effects of scheme changes in theories with many couplings, as well as in theories that live on non-conformal scale-invariant renormalization group trajectories. Stability properties of such trajectories are analyzed, revealing both attractive and repulsive directions in a specific example. We explain how our results are in accord with those of Jack & Osborn on a c-theorem in d=4 (and d=4-epsilon) dimensions. Finally, we point out that limit cycles with turning points are unlike limit cycles with continuous scale invariance.Comment: 21 pages, 3 figures, Erratum adde

Novel and promising macromolecular were directly synthesized by ring opening of polylactied by hydroxyl groups in cellulose diacetate as biodegradable polymers and amino acids  substitution  for the development of a polymeric implantable delivery carrier The remain of carboxylic groups of amino acid substitution with different drug. The toxicof the synthesized matrices were evaluated using a bacterial Staphylococcus aureuse , Micrococcus, Pseudmonasaeruginosa, klebsiella, Streptococcus. A  twonew amid  bond was formed between the carboxyl  end-groups of the synthesized polymer matrices and an amine group ofamino acids , The structure of the polymeric conjugates was characterized by various spectroscopy techniques. A study of hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) thermodiagrams indicated that the presence of drug  pendant groups in the macromolecule structures increased the polymer’s rigidity alongside increasing thermal stability. It has been found that the kinetic release of amino acids and drugs  from the obtained macromolecular conjugates, tested in vitro under different conditions, is strongly dependent on the physicochemical properties of polymeric matrices

The present study was investigating the physiochemical and the biological activity of the Clove bud oil against the fungus (A. niger) and two bacteria (E. coli and Staph. aurues). The inhibition zone plate method was used for bacterial test, while the mycelia weights and radial growth methods were used for the fungal study. The A.O.S. official methods were used to determine the physiochemical properties. The studies on the physiochemical characteristics of the Clove bud oil proved that the acid value was (3.86), the saponification value was (38.27),the peroxide value was (3.83), the specific gravity was (1.043), the  reflective index was (1.525), the iodine value was (182.43), and the free fatty acid was (1.94). The results of the antimicrobial tests showed that  the  Clove bud oil gave a complete inhibition of the radial growth of the fungus (A. niger) at its higher concentration and a high reduction percent at its lower concentrations. However, the mycelial fresh and dry weights of the fungus A. niger were completely inhibited by the Clove bud oil at its higher concentration, and clearly reduced at its lower concentrations. The inhibition zone of growth of both bacteria was larger than that of the control treatment. Clove bud oil showed clear inhibition zone when used against Staph. aurues compared to its use against E. coli. Many studies have reported that oils of different herbs and spices can yield medicinal compounds. Spices and herbs have been used for thousand of years by man in traditional medicine. However, more physiochemical characterizations need to be done and the antifungal and the antibacterial properties should be verified in any further studies on the Clove bud oil.   &nbsp
