    El presente estudio se realizó con la finalidad de determinar el “PERFIL DEL PERSONAL Y SU DESEMPEÑO LABORAL EN LA GERENCIA DE CRÉDITOS DE LA ASOCIACIÓN MUJERES EN ACCIÓN (AMA), TRUJILLO - 1ER. TRIMESTRE DEL 2017. El enunciado del problema es: ¿Se ajusta el perfil del personal a su desempeño laboral en la Gerencia de Créditos de la Asociación Mujeres en Acción (AMA), Trujillo – 1er. Trimestre del 2017? Cuya hipótesis de investigación es: El perfil del personal exigido por el puesto se ajusta a su desempeño laboral en la Gerencia de Créditos de la Asociación Mujeres en Acción (AMA). Se utilizó el diseño descriptivo correlacional, empleando la técnica de la encuesta, y como instrumento el cuestionario, el mismo que fue validado por medio de la aplicación del coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach. Así mismo, se consideró como muestra representativa al personal involucrado directamente en la Gerencia de Créditos de la Asociación Mujeres en Acción (AMA), conformada por un total de 17 trabajadores, para analizar el perfil de puestos y el desempeño laboral existente en la institución. Los resultados de la investigación han determinado que los colaboradores de la Gerencia de créditos en su mayoría se ajustan a los perfiles del puesto y presentan un desempeño laboral entre regular y bueno.The present study was carried out in order to determine the “PROFILE OF THE PERSONNEL AND ITS PERFORMANCE IN THE CREDIT MANAGEMENT OF THE WOMEN IN ACTION ASSOCIATION (AMA), TRUJILLO - 1ER. QUARTER OF 2017. The statement of the problem is: Is the personnel profile adjusted to their work performance in the Credit Management of the Women in Action Association (AMA), Trujillo - 1er. Quarter of 2017? Whose research hypothesis is: The profile of the personnel required by the position is adjusted to their work performance in the Credit Management of the Women in Action Association (AMA). The correlational descriptive design was used, using the survey technique, and as a questionnaire instrument, the same that was validated through the application of the Cronbach Alpha coefficient. Likewise, the personnel directly involved in the Credit Management of the Women in Action Association (AMA), made up of a total of 17 workers, were considered as a representative sample to analyze the job profile and the work performance in the institution. The results of the research have allowed the analysis of job profile and job performance in the Credit Management of the Women in Action Association (AMA), in the city of Trujillo, during the 1st. Quarter of 2017 and determine if the profile of the personnel is adjusted to their work performance in the Credit Management of the Women in Action Association (AMA). The results of the investigation have determined that the collaborators of the Credit Management in their majority are adjusted to the profiles of the position and present a work performance between regular and good.Tesi

    Water jet erosion performance of carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforced polymers

    Complex engineering challenges are revealed in the wind industry; one of them is erosion at the leading edge of wind turbine blades. Water jet erosive wear tests on carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) and glass-fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) were performed in order to determine their resistance at the conditions tested. Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP) was used to obtain the composite materials. Eight layers of bidirectional carbon fabric (0/90°) and nine glass layers of bidirectional glass cloth were used to manufacture the plates. A water injection platform was utilized. The liquid was projected with a pressure of 150 bar on the surface of the specimens through a nozzle. The samples were located at 65 mm from the nozzle at an impact angle of 75°, with an exposure time of 10, 20 and 30 min. SEM and optical microscopy were used to observe the damage on surfaces. A 3D optical profilometer helped to determine the roughness and see the scar profiles. The results showed that the volume loss for glass fiber and carbon fiber were 10 and 19 mm3, respectively. This means that the resistance to water jet erosion in uncoated glass fiber was approximately two times lower than uncoated carbon fiber

    Weaker HLA footprints on HIV in the unique and highly genetically admixed host population of Mexico

    HIV circumvents HLA class I-restricted CD8+ T-cell responses through selection of escape mutations that leave characteristic mutational “footprints,” also known as HLA-associated polymorphisms (HAPs), on HIV sequences at the population level. While many HLA footprints are universal across HIV subtypes and human populations, others can be region specific as a result of the unique immunogenetic background of each host population. Using a published probabilistic phylogenetically informed model, we compared HAPs in HIV Gag and Pol (PR-RT) in 1,612 subtype B-infected, antiretroviral treatment-naive individuals from Mexico and 1,641 individuals from Canada/United States. A total of 252 HLA class I allele subtypes were represented, including 140 observed in both cohorts, 67 unique to Mexico, and 45 unique to Canada/United States. At the predefined statistical threshold of a q value of <0.2, 358 HAPs (201 in Gag, 157 in PR-RT) were identified in Mexico, while 905 (534 in Gag and 371 in PR-RT) were identified in Canada/United States. HAPs identified in Mexico included both canonical HLA-associated escape pathways and novel associations, in particular with HLA alleles enriched in Amerindian and mestizo populations. Remarkably, HLA footprints on HIV in Mexico were not only fewer but also, on average, significantly weaker than those in Canada/United States, although some exceptions were noted. Moreover, exploratory analyses suggested that the weaker HLA footprint on HIV in Mexico may be due, at least in part, to weaker and/or less reproducible HLA-mediated immune pressures on HIV in this population. The implications of these differences for natural and vaccine-induced anti-HIV immunity merit further investigation

    High rate, fast timing Glass RPC for the high {\eta} CMS muon detectors

    The HL-LHC phase is designed to increase by an order of magnitude the amount of data to be collected by the LHC experiments. To achieve this goal in a reasonable time scale the instantaneous luminosity would also increase by an order of magnitude up to 6.1034cm2s16.10^{34} cm^{-2} s^{-1} . The region of the forward muon spectrometer (η>1.6|{\eta}| > 1.6) is not equipped with RPC stations. The increase of the expected particles rate up to 2kHz/cm22 kHz/cm^{2} (including a safety factor 3) motivates the installation of RPC chambers to guarantee redundancy with the CSC chambers already present. The actual RPC technology of CMS cannot sustain the expected background level. The new technology that will be chosen should have a high rate capability and provides a good spatial and timing resolution. A new generation of Glass-RPC (GRPC) using low-resistivity (LR) glass is proposed to equip at least the two most far away of the four high η{\eta} muon stations of CMS. First the design of small size prototypes and studies of their performance in high-rate particles flux is presented.     Web-based monitoring tools for Resistive Plate Chambers in the CMS experiment at CERN

    The Resistive Plate Chambers (RPC) are used in the CMS experiment at the trigger level and also in the standard offline muon reconstruction. In order to guarantee the quality of the data collected and to monitor online the detector performance, a set of tools has been developed in CMS which is heavily used in the RPC system. The Web-based monitoring (WBM) is a set of java servlets that allows users to check the performance of the hardware during data taking, providing distributions and history plots of all the parameters. The functionalities of the RPC WBM monitoring tools are presented along with studies of the detector performance as a function of growing luminosity and environmental conditions that are tracked over time

    The Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) are employed in the CMS Experiment at the LHC as dedicated trigger system both in the barrel and in the endcap. This article presents results of the radiation background measurements performed with the 2011 and 2012 proton-proton collision data collected by CMS. Emphasis is given to the measurements of the background distribution inside the RPCs. The expected background rates during the future running of the LHC are estimated both from extrapolated measurements and from simulation

    Differential immunodominance hierarchy OF CD8+ T cell responses in HLA-B*27:05 AND B*27:02-mediated control of HIV-1 infection

    The well-characterized association between HLA-B*27:05 and protection against HIV disease progression has been linked to immunodominant HLA-B*27:05-restricted CD8+ T-cell responses toward the conserved Gag KK10 (residues 263 to 272) and polymerase (Pol) KY9 (residues 901 to 909) epitopes. We studied the impact of the 3 amino acid differences between HLA-B*27:05 and the closely related HLA-B*27:02 on the HIV-specific CD8+ T-cell response hierarchy and on immune control of HIV. Genetic epidemiological data indicate that both HLA-B*27:02 and HLA-B*27:05 are associated with slower disease progression and lower viral loads. The effect of HLA-B*27:02 appeared to be consistently stronger than that of HLA-B*27:05. In contrast to HLA-B*27:05, the immunodominant HIV-specific HLA-B*27:02-restricted CD8+ T-cell response is to a Nef epitope (residues 142 to 150 [VW9]), with Pol KY9 subdominant and Gag KK10 further subdominant. This selection was driven by structural differences in the F pocket, mediated by a polymorphism between these two HLA alleles at position 81. Analysis of autologous virus sequences showed that in HLA-B*27:02-positive subjects, all three of these CD8+ T-cell responses impose selection pressure on the virus, whereas in HLA-B*27:05-positive subjects, there is no Nef VW9-mediated selection pressure. These studies demonstrate that HLA-B*27:02 mediates protection against HIV disease progression that is at least as strong as or stronger than that mediated by HLA-B*27:05. In combination with the protective Gag KK10 and Pol KY9 CD8+ T-cell responses that dominate HIV-specific CD8+ T-cell activity in HLA-B*27:05-positive subjects, a Nef VW9-specific response is additionally present and immunodominant in HLA-B*27:02-positive subjects, mediated through a polymorphism at residue 81 in the F pocket, that contributes to selection pressure against HIV

    Measurement of the t(t)over-bar production cross section in the dilepton channel in pp collisions at √s=8 TeV

    The top-antitop quark (t (t) over bar) production cross section is measured in proton-proton collisions at root s = 8 TeV with the CMS experiment at the LHC, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.3 fb(-1). The measurement is performed by analysing events with a pair of electrons or muons, or one electron and one muon, and at least two jets, one of which is identified as originating from hadronisation of a bottom quark. The measured cross section is 239 +/- 2 (stat.) +/- 11 (syst.) +/- 6 (lum.) pb, for an assumed top-quark mass of 172.5 GeV, in agreement with the prediction of the standard model
