    Generalized Faddeev equations in the AGS form for deuteron stripping with explicit inclusion of target excitations and Coulomb interaction

    Theoretical description of reactions in general, and the theory for (d,p)(d,p) reactions, in particular, needs to advance into the new century. Here deuteron stripping processes off a target nucleus consisting of A{A} nucleons are treated within the framework of the few-body integral equations theory. The generalized Faddeev equations in the AGS form, which take into account the target excitations, with realistic optical potentials provide the most advanced and complete description of the deuteron stripping. The main problem in practical application of such equations is the screening of the Coulomb potential, which works only for light nuclei. In this paper we present a new formulation of the Faddeev equations in the AGS form taking into account the target excitations with explicit inclusion of the Coulomb interaction. By projecting the (A+2)(A+2)-body operators onto target states, matrix three-body integral equations are derived which allow for the incorporation of the excited states of the target nucleons. Using the explicit equations for the partial Coulomb scattering wave functions in the momentum space we present the AGS equations in the Coulomb distorted wave representation without screening procedure. We also use the explicit expression for the off-shell two-body Coulomb scattering TT-matrix which is needed to calculate the effective potentials in the AGS equations. The integrals containing the off-shell Coulomb T-matrix are regularized to make the obtained equations suitable for calculations. For NNNN and nucleon-target nuclear interactions we assume the separable potentials what significantly simplifies solution of the AGS equations.Comment: 34 pages, 13 figure

    Electroproduction, photoproduction, and inverse electroproduction of pions in the first resonance region

    Methods are set forth for determining the hadron electromagnetic structure in the sub-NNˉN\bar{N}-threshold timelike region of the virtual-photon ``mass'' and for investigating the nucleon weak structure in the spacelike region from experimental data on the process πNe+eN\pi N\to e^+e^- N at low energies. These methods are formulated using the unified description of photoproduction, electroproduction, and inverse electroproduction of pions in the first resonance region in the framework of the dispersion-relation model and on the basis of the model-independent properties of inverse electroproduction.     Momentum Space Integral Equations for Three Charged Particles: Diagonal Kernels

    It has been a long-standing question whether momentum space integral equations of the Faddeev type are applicable to reactions of three charged particles, in particular above the three-body threshold. For, the presence of long-range Coulomb forces has been thought to give rise to such severe singularities in their kernels that the latter may lack the compactness property known to exist in the case of purely short-range interactions. Employing the rigorously equivalent formulation in terms of an effective-two-body theory we have proved in a preceding paper [Phys. Rev. C {\bf 61}, 064006 (2000)] that, for all energies, the nondiagonal kernels occurring in the integral equations which determine the transition amplitudes for all binary collision processes, possess on and off the energy shell only integrable singularities, provided all three particles have charges of the same sign, i.e., all Coulomb interactions are repulsive. In the present paper we prove that, for particles with charges of equal sign, the diagonal kernels, in contrast, possess one, but only one, nonintegrable singularity. The latter can, however, be isolated explicitly and dealt with in a well-defined manner. Taken together these results imply that modified integral equations can be formulated, with kernels that become compact after a few iterations. This concludes the proof that standard solution methods can be used for the calculation of all binary (i.e., (in-)elastic and rearrangement) amplitudes by means of momentum space integral equations of the effective-two-body type.Comment: 36 pages, 2 figures, accepted for publication in Phys.     Внутрикостная аутосеротерапия поясничного остеохондроза

    138 patients with lumbar osteochondrosis (LOC) in age of 32—73 years with apparent pain syndrome and neurologic manifestations have been examined, these patients have received 316 autoserotherapy (AST) procedures. It has been revealed that in LOC patients a disturbance of coagulation blood properties and micricirculation as well as immunoglobulin M and G concentration increase, circulating immune complexes (CIC) increase, increase of kinin activity by more than 2 times had taken place. Course of AST procedures permits to decrease the blood coagulability and kallikrein activity almost up to the norm, to improve the microcirculation (by capillaroscopy data), to eliminate the disimmunoglobulinemia that is accompanied by the decrease of disease symptom evidence. Inclusion of AST procedures in LOC treatment complex decreases in short time the intensity of lumbar pains, decreases the hospitalization duration by (9,4 ± 1,1) days, increases the remission duration as compared to the control patient group that received the traditional treatment only.Обследованы 138 больных поясничным остеохондрозом (ПОХ) в возрасте от 32 до 73 лет с выраженным болевым синдромом и неврологическими проявлениями, которым выполнено 316 процедур аутосеротерапии (АСТ). Установлено, что у больных ПОХ имеет место нарушение коагуляционных свойств крови и микроциркуляции, увеличение концентрации иммуноглобулинов М и G, циркулирующих иммунных комплексов (ЦИК), повышение активности кининов более чем в 2 раза. Проведение курса АСТ позволяет уменьшить свертываемость крови, активность калликреина почти до нормы, улучшить микроциркуляцию (по данным капилляроскопии), ликвидировать дисиммуноглобулинемию, что сопровождается снижением выраженности симптомов заболевания. Включение в комплекс лечения ПОХ сеансов АСТ в короткие сроки уменьшает интенсивность поясничных болей, сокращает на (9,4 ± 1,1) сут продолжительность госпитализации, увеличивает длительность ремиссии по сравнению с контрольной группой больных, получавших только традиционное лечение

    There are advantages of the credit-module system , but at practical lessons some principles might be skip . According to the  program of “Prophylaxis of stomatological disorders” at the III course of stomatological faculty the subject of  the practical lesson № 17-18 is a conduction of the “Health lesson” that should be managed within four academic hours. This practical lesson should be held in the organized children’s groups. To enhance its practical guide we have introduce some changes to the “Part VI. Plan and management of the lesson” at the Pediatric Stomatology Department of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. The dress rehearsal is operated before the lesson instead of the test control and oral part and the main part is a performance itself. Besides, the initial and the final level of the test control should be administer at the previous lesson. На ІІІ курсі стоматологічного факультету при вивченні предмета “Профілактика стоматологічних захворювань” згідно з робочою програмою є практичне заняття № 17-18 на тему “Проведення уроку здоров’я”, на яке відводиться чотири академічні години. Це заняття передбачає роботу студентів в організованих дитячих колективах. Із метою повного його практичного спрямування на кафедрі дитячої стоматології Івано-Франківського національного медичного університету внесено зміни в “Розділ VI. План і організаційна структура заняття” до цієї методичної розробки, що полягають у проведенні генеральної репетиції уроку здоров’я замість опитування і тестування, а основна частина заняття відводиться на власне виступ – урок здоров’я. При цьому вихідний та кінцевий рівень знань студентів викладач з’ясовує на попередньому занятті.
