    Air flow pressure drop research of vehicle air filter with different inner liner design

    Air filters was designed for air cleaning. They extends automotive and industrial devices life, because it cleans absorbing air from environment. For example it cleans air for internal combustion engines, air compressors, air conditioners and so on [1]. For better air cleaning it is necessary to create air filter housing model and make air flow calculations. Calculation results helps to adapt additional elements for longer air filter element life and better air filtration. During calculations was found one of the best technical solutions for better air filtration. Designed part was produced using 3D printer. Later with assembled filter some measurements and experiments were made. This article presents air flow pressure drop in air filter with different inner liners

    This article is about vibration technologies adaptation for polluted surface cleaning. This cleaning method can be adapted in various areas [1-3]. For example, for used automotive air filters cleaning or during operation prolonging their life. Also this method can be used in buildings, because if in house is installed recuperator it is necessary to use air filters. During the exploitation this filters became polluted by contaminant particles. That to increase air filtering quality and prolonging filter life may be used vibration technologies

    The impact of the conjuncture of the market, employee experience and the acts of competitors could be reduced by using outsourcing. When the results have been estimated the presumption has been made that the enterprises that stated they do not use the rent of outsourcing, were wrong; because some types of services correspond to the types of the rent of outsourcing. Such services as security, maintenance of programming equipment, programming, personal management, services of finances and accounting, and some others belong to the rent of outsourcing. However, when the enterprise uses them they make bigger effect on the enterprise's effectiveness. Generalizing the information you can state that in order to encourage small businessmen to use the rent of outsourcing it needs to do the study of Lithuanian small business possibilities, the detailed information about its use, their implementation, the possible assurance of benefit and business effectiveness

    Huge competition in modern business and changes in the business environment create a situation in which, if you want to achieve a dynamic development of the company, you have to search for innovative solutions how to improve efficiency of the company’s operations. The paper aims to define and evaluate possibilities to apply outsourcing in Lithuanian small-sized businesses in order to increase efficiency of their operations. The main problems of Lithuanian small-sized business are related to the lack of resources. One of the possible solutions could be innovations through the use and attraction of external potential that ensures company’s development. The conducted empirical research showed that outsourcing is used and is rather popular in Lithuanian small-sized businesses. Having evaluated small-sized businesses that use outsourcing, it was established that Lithuanian small-sized businesses mainly use the type of IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing. When starting to use outsourcing, small-sized enterprises defined economic and organisational goals in order to achieve better performance within a short period of time. The solution to use outsourcing in small-sized businesses is evaluated well and very well. It shows that outsourcing brings benefit that meets the needs of company owners, shareholders and executives. The main problem in Lithuanian small-sized businesses that use outsourcing is lost control, the problems of introducing the “standards” proposed by the supplier, and the problems of human resources

    Filters were created to separate unwanted particles and hold them in filtering material. Filters can be used for gas filtration or liquid filtration. That‘s why filters are used in a wide range of fields. Since air filters trap unwanted particles, they can protect the human respiratory tract or some devices high precision inside elements. It depends where the filters are installed, in highly dusted premises or in other places such as engine/air compressor intake systems or etc. These filters protect devices from wear, contamination and extend length of life. Therefore, filters are used in various areas are divided into two main groups: 1. Industry (various ventilation systems, air compressors, space technology, personal computers, medical equipment, etc.) and 2.     Air filters were designed for air cleaning. They extend the life of automotive and industrial devices, because they clean the incoming air from dust and other small particles. For example, small sand particles, ceramics and other abrasive particles. This study was based on the air filter construction, because for big air filters it is necessary to use some internal elements to increase the filter strength. This element is called the inner liner. The additional element changes the air flow trajectories and may affect the engine combustion parameters. To make sure that the vehicle characteristics will be the same or better, it is necessary to make experimental research and modelling for the designed elements. The air filter inner liner element was created using “Solid Works 2014” software and air flow modelling was done using “Flow Works” pocket. The experimental research was done using the “AEROLAB” wind tunnel. Exploring various options of inner liner models the best solution for the vehicle air filter element has been found.     Vibrational method of cleaning of surfaces from homogeneous waste materials

    Cleaning of contaminated surfaces is closely related to the study of adhesion forces between particles and the surface. Despite numerous technological advancements, the adhesion of particles and surfaces is a phenomenon that is far from being fully understood. This is due to many factors acting during process, - such as the surface roughness and material type, size, shape, electrostatic properties of particles, etc. A surface cleaning device based on nonlinear vibration of the contact element is presented in this paper. Relationships describing the periodic motion in steady state operating regimes are obtained. Characteristics of motion as functions of the frequency of excitation are investigated. Experimental investigations were performed for the determination of the influence of the cleaning velocity on the vibration frequency. It is shown that this dependence is directly related to adhesion forces between particles and the surface.
