Strategies for Christian Educators and Administrators to move from pre-pandemic VUCA reaction to post-pandemic VUCA 2.0 response.

Abstract Pre-pandemic Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) realities added specific complexity to education and administrative practice at Christian schools, influencing Christian school educators and administrator reactions to the challenges experienced in their social and professional contexts (Ungerer, Ungerer and Herholdt, 2016). Post-pandemic realities however, will require greater diligence for Christian educators and administrators. The transition from pre-pandemic reactive responses to VUCA influence on Christian school environments to applying visionary, understandable, courageous and adaptive (VUCA 2.0) strategic principles for those same environments, is a necessary strategic challenge to accept. Christian school educators and administrators wanting to support a healthy and effective whole school practice and affirm identity, mission, purpose and strategic practice in a post pandemic environment must push through the fog of reaction and commit themselves to VUCA 2.0 success (George, 2017)

Unsteady state heat transfer from a hot body to a liquid

The problem investigated in this thesis is that of unsteady state heat transfer from a hot body to a liquid, a quenching problem. Unsteady state or transient heat transfer is heat transfer in which the temperature distribution changes with time. If a hot body was suddenly quenched in a large mass of liquid, a film of vapor would form between the hot body and the liquid. For example, if a hot body was quenched in water a film of steam would form between the hot body and the water. It is the purpose of this thesis to determine the heat transfer from the hot body to the liquid and the temperature distribution in the hot body for such a situation. In this thesis the hot body will be assumed a semi-infinite solid. A large class of important industrial problems require the prediction of temperatures and heat transfer rates in a solid structure being heated or cooled by immersion in a large mass of fluid. Such problems are relatively common in metallurgical processes where it is necessary to estimate heating or cooling rates of large solid ingots of various shapes. This information is then used to predict the time required for such objects to attain prescribed temperature levels for purposes of melting, hot-working, heat-treatment, and the like. Heating and cooling rates are also of extreme practical interest in the canning industry where perishable canned foods are chilled by immersion; in the paper industry where wood logs are immersed in steam baths preparatory to pulping and veneer cutting; in the manufacture of bricks, glass, and rubber products; in the prediction of allowable combustion times in rocket-engine nozzles; and in the calculation of allowable acceleration rates for airborne vehicles subject to high speed transient aerodynamic heating. The results of an analytical approach to heat conduction problems are by no means limited to heat transfer alone. Parts of the theory find application in various static and current electricity problems, gravitational problems, and the methods of development are of general application in mathematical physics. The author chose this unsteady state heat transfer problem because of an interest in the analytical solutions of such problems, and to his knowledge, this particular problem had not been solved previously --Introduction, pages 1-2

Implementation in the bureaucratic system is not spared from the view of the public who know that people who occupy bureaucratic positions always serve the community and become an intermediary between political parties and the government. It has become commonplace for bureaucrats to always use a system of mutualism, as well as mutual relations without harming one party to the other. In giving positions from superiors (patrons) to subordinates (clients), it is always included with a high desire and marukh that someone who has a high position then he must also balance with a broad and high power as well. Therefore the recruitment of bureaucratic members in the government does not always look at the functional side of a person, but because of the support of his subordinates. There must be a term that is always fixed in the mind and mind of a high-ranking bureaucratic official, that the stronger a person's power is always marked by the number of subordinates or staff he has especially in the city of Padang. The method used in this article is the writing method with literacy studies sourced from written sources, in the form of journals, articles, magazines, internet, literature or documents that are relevant to the problem under study. The results of the study with this literature study method are to analyze the relationship between patrons and clients towards government bureaucratization with the dimensions of parkinsonism or classic disease that cannot be overcome or eliminated which will have an impact on the wider community.
