    Describing codimension two defects

    Codimension two defects of the (0,2)(0,2) six dimensional theory X[j]\mathscr{X}[\mathfrak{j}] have played an important role in the understanding of dualities for certain N=2\mathcal{N}=2 SCFTs in four dimensions. These defects are typically understood by their behaviour under various dimensional reduction schemes. In their various guises, the defects admit partial descriptions in terms of singularities of Hitchin systems, Nahm boundary conditions or Toda operators. Here, a uniform dictionary between these descriptions is given for a large class of such defects in X[j],j∈A,D,E\mathscr{X}[\mathfrak{j}], \mathfrak{j} \in A,D,E.Comment: 74pp, lots of tables detailing order reversing duality; (v2) Acknowledgement added.     The Euler anomaly and scale factors in Liouville/Toda CFTs

    The role played by the Euler anomaly in the dictionary relating sphere partition functions of four dimensional theories of class S\mathcal{S} and two dimensional nonrational CFTs is clarified. On the two dimensional side, this involves a careful treatment of scale factors in Liouville/Toda correlators. Using ideas from tinkertoy constructions for Gaiotto duality, a framework is proposed for evaluating these scale factors.     The purpose of this research aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Example Non Example Model through students learning outcomes in learning Social Sciences in fourth grade SDN 16 Pontianak Utara. This research used an experimental method with quasy-experimental design with research programme nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research were all fourth grade students of SDN 16 Pontianak Utara. The samples of this research that the experimental class students that amounted to 33 people and control classes totaling 29 people. Data collector in the form of multiple choice tests totaling 50 questions. The average yield post-test in control class 57.16 and the average post-test experimental class 72.85. Calculation of effect size of 1.35 with a very high category. The results of the t-test of 6.3659 to ttabel 2.0424, means thitung> ttabel (6.3659> 2.0424) then Ha accepted, meaning that there are significant effectiveness of Example Non Example Model through students learning outcomes in learning Social Sciences in fourth grade SDN 16 Pontianak Utara

    Penelitian tentang Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SDK Terpencil Punsung Beau Berbantuan Media Gambar pada Mata Pelajaran IPA. Dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Mei sampai dengan 14 Mei 2014. Permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu rendah hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa berbantuan media gambar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang diambil adalah data kualitatif yaitu data hasil observasi diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan situasi pembelajaran. Serta data kuantitatif yaitu data hasil belajar diperoleh dari hasil tes. Hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh tuntas individu 11 orang dan tidak tuntas individu 7 orang dengan persentase daya serap klasikal 75,33% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 66,67%. Hasil belajar siklus II satu siswa dinyatakan belum tuntas diperoleh presentase yaitu 94,44% dengan persentase daya serap klasikal 85,71%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran siswa Kelas IV SDK Terpencil Punsung Beau
