    Analisis Kesalahan Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Matematika Siswa Kelas III di SD Negeri Jati 1 Kota Tangerang

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas III sebanyak 9 orang dan guru kelas III. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan jumlah kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi menghitung lamanya waktu antara lain: kesalahan membaca dilakukan sebanyak 10 kali, kesalahan memahami masalah dilakukan sebanyak 21 kali, kesalahan transformasi dilakukan sebanyak 10 kali, kesalahan kemampuan proses dilakukan sebanyak 22 kali, dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban dilakukan sebanyak 31 kali. Selain itu terdapat faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika yaitu siswa kesulitan dalam memahami masalah, kesulitan dalam menentukan operasi perhitungan, kesulitan dalam proses perhitungan, saat siswa mengerjakan proses perhitungan tidak teliti dan tergesa-gesa, terjadi kesalahan pada sebelumnya sehingga hasil diakhir jawabannya salah, siswa tidak menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan apa yang ditanyakan

    This study aimed to develop the civics learning result instruments and the social attitude of the fifth grade students which are valid and reliable. This research used research and development design with 4-D development model. This model consisted of four main stages namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The results of this study are, (1) At the define stage, the blue print of the civics learning result instrument and social attitude instrument are formed (2) At the design stage, the blue prints are described into civics learning result instruments in the form of multiple choice test as well social attitude instruments in the form of questionnaire which initially each instruments consisted of 30 items. (3) In the develop stage, the content validity test of the civics learning result instruments is done resulting 27 items are valid. The content validity test of the social attitude instruments shows the result that 25 items are valid. Then the reliability test of the civics learning result instruments obtained r11 of 0.76. It means that the civic learning results instruments are reliable. Reliability test of the social attitude instruments obtains r11 of 0.78. It means that the social attitude instruments are reliable. Thus, the development of the civics learning result and social attitude instruments in this study are declared valid and reliable and are able to be used as an example to measure and develop the civics learning result instruments and the social attitude instruments of the fifth grade students

    This study uses a case study qualitative research. In this study, collecting descriptive data obtained from data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research data shows that almost all mathematics subject matter is considered difficult by students who have difficulty learning mathematics. The difficulty of students in learning mathematics is shown by the inability of students to work on questions and questions from the teacher. Students also assume that mathematics is a subject that is difficult to learn. Based on the results of research and discussion, this research can be concluded that the material that is considered difficult by students who have difficulty learning mathematics, namely: multiplication, division, KPK and FPB, simple rank and root, time, distance, speed, trapezoidal area and elevated area -flake

    This study aims to describe (1) Learning fraction counting learning in class V, (2) the difficulty of students in completing fraction counting operations in class V SDN BENCONGAN VI, (3) Factors of students difficulty in completing fraction counting operations, and (4) Solutions that can be given to overcome the difficulties of students in completing fraction counting operations. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The sample of this study amounted to 6 people drawn from the population of all fifth grade students of SDN BENCONGAN VI. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed (1) The learning of classical count operations is included in either category. (2) The average test result completing the fractional count operation is classically very low. (3) The factors of students' difficulties in completing fraction counting operations are the difficulties of students when solving fraction story problems, the factors of students' difficulties when completing addition and subtraction problems of the mentioned fractions are not the same, then the factors of students' difficulties in simplifying fractions. (4) The solution to overcome is how to teach teachers to be further improved both in the use of more varied methods and the use of media or teaching aids in learning, the need for the role of the family in guiding children to learn at home
