Le concept « clientèle multiproblématique » est fréquemment utilisé, tant dans le secteur des services de santé physique, le secteur des services sociaux que le secteur de l’administration publique. Mais ce concept a-t-il la même signification pour l’ensemble de ces secteurs? Les résultats d’une recension des écrits montrent deux points de convergences qui ressortent des trois secteurs analysés, soit les multiples problèmes présentent chez la clientèle et les difficultés organisationnelles. Cette constatation justifie l’importance d’examiner la diversité et la complexité des besoins de cette clientèle en adoptant une vision (éco) systémique.The concept of "multi-problem clientele" is frequently used, in the physical health services sector, the social services sector and the public administration sector. But does this concept have the same meaning for all of these sectors? The overall results of a reviews show two points of convergence that emerge from the three sectors analyzed, that is; the multiple problems present in the clientele and the organizational difficulties. Programme de sensibilisation/désensibilisation à la prise de sang : apports et défis

La peur des aiguilles s’observe fréquemment chez la population générale et pose un réel défi pour les personnes présentant une déficience intellectuelle (DI) ou un trouble du spectre de l’autisme (TSA). Le but de cette étude est d’évaluer un programme de sensibilisation/désensibilisation à la prise de sang utilisé dans un centre de réadaptation en DI et TSA, en fonction de son implantation et des résultats obtenus. Cette étude qualitative analyse des entrevues individuelles et un groupe de discussion focalisé menés auprès des différents intervenants impliqués. Des facteurs facilitants ainsi que des défis liés au programme et au contexte individuel ont été identifiés. Plusieurs recommandations, liées par exemple à l’efficacité sont discutées pour optimiser l’atteinte des objectifs du programme.Fear of needles is a frequently found phobia in the general population. It poses a real challenge for persons with intellectual disability or diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The goal of this study is to evaluate the implementation and the results obtained following the utilization of a desensitization-sensitization to venipuncture program in a rehabilitation center for people with ID and ASD. Data from individual semi-structured interviews and a focus group with various professionals involved in the program were qualitatively analyzed. Facilitating factors and challenges relating to the program and the individualized context were identified. Several recommendations are discussed, for example relating to effectiveness, in order to optimize meeting the program’s objectives

Regard sur des enjeux rencontrés par les pères immigrants au Québec

Malgré le nombre important d’immigrants de sexe masculin accueillis au Québec chaque année, il existe peu d’études québécoises portant sur les enjeux rencontrés par les pères immigrants ou sur les services qui leur sont offerts. Depuis dix ans, certains travaux ont tenté de combler cette lacune. Parmi eux, l’un porte sur un programme de soutien aux pères immigrants offert par un organisme montréalais d’accueil et d’intégration des nouveaux arrivants, un autre sur la relation père-enfant, la relation conjugale, l’identité paternelle et l’exercice de la discipline, avec une attention particulière accordée à la période périnatale. Cet article propose une synthèse de ces travaux, inspirée par le modèle bioécologique du développement humain, avec comme objectif de faire ressortir les convergences à propos des enjeux auxquels font face les pères immigrants dans leurs relations avec leur enfant, leur conjointe et leur travail, puis de dégager quelques pistes pour l’amélioration des services offerts dans les milieux institutionnels et communautaires
