An overview on leveraging social media technology for uncovering tacit knowledge sharing in an organizational context
Over the years, businesses have transformed from the traditional manufacturing-oriented to service-oriented. Along with this, tacit knowledge has become more crucial as organizations move toward innovation and service orientation. In summary, the knowledge of an organization's workforce is tacit knowledge related to their belief and expertise, which can be difficult to define, given its inexpressible characteristics. The practice of knowledge management is often associated with the use of information systems and the effort to codify, share and create knowledge using relevant knowledge management systems. Although social media is widely adopted by organizations to enhance the effectiveness of knowledge sharing practices, there is still a large amount of uncertainty on whether information systems act as an environment for the sharing of tacit knowledge. The purpose of this study is to understand the significant role of social media in offering tacit knowledge. Wiki, because of its collaborative and conversational bases, was chosen as an example of a social media and the methodology undertaken in this study is literature review. This study contributes to a discussion on the increasingly important role of social media in the dissemination of tacit knowledge in an organizational context
Di-tert-butyl (1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-dioxy)diacetate
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C32H34O6, the molecule is located on a twofold rotation axis. The two naphthyl fused-ring systems are aligned at 72.6 (1)°. Weak intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonding is present in the crystal structure
Patterns of suicide and self-harm in Pakistan: a retrospective descriptive study protocol
Introduction Suicide is a major global public health problem. Low-income and middle-income countries contribute 78% of all suicidal deaths. Pakistan, a South Asian country, lacks official statistics on suicides at national level. Statistics on suicide are neither collected nationally nor published in the annual national morbidity and mortality surveys. Medicolegal reports on suicides and self-harm are extremely rich and important source of information but greatly underused in Pakistan. We aim to examine the patterns of suicides and self-harm retrospectively in patients who were registered with medicolegal centres (MLCs) in Karachi, during the period January 2017 to December 2021. Methods and analysis Using retrospective descriptive design, the data will be collected from the medical records maintained at the main office of the Karachi police surgeon. Data from all nine MLCs of Karachi are collated and stored at the main office of Police surgeon. Information on suicide and self-harm cases will be extracted from records of all MLCs. The data will be collected using structured proforma and it will be analysed using descriptive and inferential analysis. Ethics and dissemination The study was approved for exemption from Aga Khan University, Ethical Review Committee. The findings of the study will be disseminated by conducting seminars for healthcare professionals and stakeholders including psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, medicolegal officers, police surgeons, mental health nurses, general and public health physicians and policy makers. Findings will be published in local and international peer-reviewed scientific journals
Overview of knowledge flow in a software development process
Knowledge flow (KF) and workflow have many definitions in the literature. The development of information technology has led many organizations to become more focused on knowledge than on labor because KF is considered complementary to the software development process when used in the software development domain. Knowledge is the most valuable property about any business organization or academic institution; in addition the knowledge flow plays a part in elevating the competitiveness of teams. This paper presents the origin of KF research and its different definitions. It provides an overview of KF and workflow and the interaction mechanism between the two. A systematic review of the subject is also given
2,2′-(Biphenyl-2,2′-diyldioxy)diacetohydrazide
In the molecule of the title compound, C16H18N4O4, the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the two benzene rings is 56.76 (5)°. The crystal structure reveals extensive intermolecular hydrogen bonds between carbonyl O atoms and primary amines, as well as between primary and secondary amines of hydrazide, forming rings of R

2(6) motifs, respectively. The structure is further stabilized by intramolecular and non-classical hydrogen bonds of the types N—H⋯O and C—H⋯O, respectively. The structure does not show any π–π interactions
Novel Facile Nanoformulation of levofloxacin quinolone antibiotic
In this study, new levofloxacin loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles were prepared by sol–gel technique using tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as silica precursor and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as pore generating agent. The synthesis conditions were tailored by varying the molar ratio of water, NaOH and amount of CTAB used. The synthesized silica carriers were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) which showed that spherical particles with an average size between 80-87 nm were prepared. UV and Infra Red Spectroscopy (FTIR) confirmed the formation of levofloxacin-nano particulate system and showed the participation of carboxylic group in the synthetic process. It is envisaged that nano based drug delivery of levofloxacin would serve as a promising and innovative tool against resistant bacterial infection.

Mean estimation using an efficient class of estimators based on simple random sampling: Simulation and applications
In this article, we offer simple random sampling (SRS) based efficient class of estimators of population mean Y¯ utilizing additional information. The expression of the mean square error of the proposed class of estimators is deduced up to first degree approximation. The efficiency conditions are established which are enhanced numerically utilizing a simulation study consummated over symmetrical and asymmetrical populations. Real data sets are also utilized to exemplify the suggested estimators. The numerical findings are appeared rather acceptable demonstrating better advancement over the ordinary estimators
