    This work embodies a bibliometric investigation of Research Visualization of the Journal of Library Administration from 2005-2020. The Journal of Library Administration is a peer-reviewed academic journal and deals with library management. It has been providing services since 1980 and is published eight times each year by Routledge. This research aims to make a bibliometric examination of the Journal of Library Administration. The journal highlights the various forms of publications such as articles, editorial material, review, correction, and biographical items from the last sixteen years regularly. Data for research have been collected from the Science Citation Index database, Web of Science (Core Collection), and different software have been used for this purpose such as Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, ScientoPy, and MS Excel. This statistical analysis covers the exact statistics of total publications, yearly published documents, authorship patterns, productive organizations, research productive countries, top-cited articles and funding agencies, etc. This paper is supportive for researchers who need to grasp the contemporary patterns of published articles in the Journal of Library Administration and look for further recommendations for additional exploration

    Study Culture among College Graduate Students in Electronic Era

    Reading is the basic step for learners in education and it plays a key part in literacy and language gaining. It increases intellectual aptitude through giving new thoughts, notions and enhances vocabulary. This study attempts to examine students \u27reading behavior in the electronic age and the reason for the decline towards reading. The population of the study was based on graduates’ students of public sector colleges of Lahore vicinity. A well-structured questionnaire for the survey was used for data collection. A sample of 334 students of graduate program was sampled employing proportionate random sampling technique from public sector colleges (6 girls and 6 boys). The study findings show that 43.4 percent of the students prefer to spend time on electronic media and they were reluctant to read the books. Further, they were involved and preferred to use a cell phone as compared to study. Similarly, the student was also found that they were using Facebook as compared to reading habits. This study concluded that students had more exposure to electronic media and social networking sites as compared to study culture

    The Library Quarterly (LQ) is an academic journal that covers various fields of education including library science. It is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal, serving from 1931 with quarterly frequency. LQ publishes various document types’ cutting-edge articles, book reviews, editorial material, biographical items, and reviews. This analysis is meant to find out the present status of exploration on LQ publications. The interest in this field can be drawn from an expanding number of academic works here but lack of research in this timespan is the reason for this analysis. The main objective of this research was to explore the documents published in this time frame from 2010-2019 in LQ. The current study utilized the bibliometric technique for getting information about The Library Quarterly. Bibliometric data collected through Web of Science Core Collection and VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, MSExcel, etc. tools used for bibliometric analysis. The study evaluates that a total (469) documents published in this timespan in LQ. The highest trend of publication is articles and book reviews 213(45.416%), and the second popular publication is editorial material 36(7.676%). This research affirms that LQ has been globally involved to research support services. This paper is significant for all researchers and educationists who need to see the contemporary trends of publications in the LQ journal and to look forward to further studies in this area

    This bibliometric analysis represents the fifty six years (1965-2020) research productivity of Library Resources and Technical Services (LRTS). Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) has been publishing a journal “Library Resources and Technical Services”. It is a peer-reviewed journal and continuously serving from 1957. The research having aims to highlights the research outcomes/research productivity of the journal from the last fifty six years. Data was accumulated from Web of Science (core collection). Tools such as Biblioshiny, VOSviewer and MS Excel have been used for processing and data analysis. The assessment is based on various occurrences such as types of documents published, year wise distribution of documents, most productive authors, authorship pattern, organizations’ contribution in publications, most productive countries, keywords used and highly cited articles.     Research Trend of Journal of Information Science: A Bibliometric Analysis through Web of Science Database

    The main objective of this bibliometric study is to examine the publications globally from the Journal of Information Science in the specific period of forty two years (1979-2020). It provides insights into research-based activities. The data was extracted from the Science Citation Index database, Web of Science. This analysis provides information about the document types, yearly published documents within 42 years, top productive authors, top productive institutions and countries, frequently used keywords, and greatly cited articles. These aspects also meet the objectives of the study and provide the major findings such as the majority of the publications are articles belong to the Department of Information Science from the UK. That is also a top productive country. The author Oppenheim C. is on the first position with highest total publications (TP). The highly used keyword is Information and the article Usage patterns of collaborative tagging systems has the highest ranking in the citation. This bibliometric research will update the researchers about the writing trends, institutions, and the countries involved in research activities

    Research on digital and online resources of academic libraries from 1981 to 2020: A bibliometric analysis

    Purpose/Rational - The study has exclusive purpose to find out the literature growth on “Digital and Online Resources of Academic Libraries” within a specific time span 1981 to 2020. Digital resources play an important role in the proliferation of quality research. Plenty of literature has been published on the topic from 1981 to 2020. Design/Methodology - The present study attempts to analyze the literature using the biliometric technique. Further, the Science Citation Index (SCI) database and Web of Science (Core Collection) has been utilized as a source to extract the available published documents. Furthermore, the investigation utilizes VOS viewer to show the outcomes making a representation picture of the published documents. Findings - The study findings show that the published documents on the topic are “electronic books” and that the articles written reached out better. The study exhibits that the English language has been used the most to write documents and 2011-2015 has been considered the when most articles published. United States is the top country for such publications while Bar Ilan (Israel) is the top publishing university, the highest number of articles has been produced by Huang YM and the most frequent keyword has been used as e-books. The highly cited article is published with the titled, “E-books or textbooks: Students prefer textbooks” with the citation of 249 in total number.     Journal of Librarianship and Information Science (JoLIS) is a peer-reviewed journal that deals with the fields of Library and Information Science and serving since 1969. The journal publishes various forms of data including articles, book reviews, letters, reviews and editorial material, etc. The study aims at highlighting the research productivity of JoLIS. Bibliometric data of JoLIS have been collected through Core Collection and Web of Science. VOSviewer, Biblishiny, and MS Excel spreadsheet were used to analyze the data. This bibliometric study explores the exact figures of publications, types of documents, year-wise distribution of published documents, frequency distribution of specific productivity, top 10 highly cited articles, bibliographic coupling of organizations, document productions from different countries, and the most used author’s keywords.
