Peningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep dengan Model Pembelajaran Konsep dalam Pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam penguasaan konsep. Dikarenakan guru menggunakan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran, memberikan materi konsep sebatas materi yang ada, mendominasi pembelajaran, guru menyampaikan materi konsep secara langsung. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran konsep. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, hasil belajar penguasaan konsep, dan respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran konsep. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari tiga siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, tes, dan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar penguasaan konsep siswa, aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta respon siswa mengalami peningkatan di setiap siklusnya dan memenuhi indikator keberhasilan

A comparison of soil moisture characteristics predicted by the Arya-Paris model with laboratory-measured data

Soil moisture characteristics predicted by the Arya-Paris model were compared with the laboratory measured data for 181 New Jersey soil horizons. For a number of soil horizons, the predicted and the measured moisture characteristic curves are almost coincident; for a large number of other horizons, despite some disparity, their shapes are strikingly similar. Uncertainties in the model input and laboratory measurement of the moisture characteristic are indicated, and recommendations for additional experimentation and testing are made

Vitiligo at Injection Site of PEG-IFN-α 2a in Two Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C: Case Report and Literature Review

A 72-year-old female and a 57-year-old male with chronic hepatitis C were treated with a combination therapy of pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN)-α 2a (180 μg s.c. once a week) and ribavirin (1,000 mg orally daily). This resulted in the destruction of melanocytes at the injection site in both patients. In the male patient, the depigmentation progressed to the surrounding skin area. The dermatologist concurred with vitiligo as the diagnosis in both patients. Injection and surrounding site vitiligo associated with PEG-IFN-α 2b treatment for hepatitis C was noticed in previous case studies. For the first time, the case reports below highlight the same immunological adverse event secondary to PEG IFN-α 2a/ribavirin combination therapy and explain, in part, the complex interaction between host immune response and viral genotype. Perilaku Pencarian Informasi Oleh Mahasiswa Semester VIII Fakultas Ilmu Budaya

Penelitian ini berjudul “Perilaku Pencarian Informasi Oleh Mahasiswa Semester VIII FIB”, di FIB Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku pencarian informasi oleh mahasiswa semester VIII FIB dan dimana tempat mahasiswa mencari informasi untuk mendukung tugas skripsinya. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada mahasiswa semester VIII yang sedang menyusun tugas skripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 16 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam (depth interview), dan observasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah : Model perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa semester VIII FIB dalam menyusun skripsi sesuai dengan teori Kulthau yang terdiri dari : Innitiatio, sebelum melakukan pencarian informasi mahasiswa terlebih dahulu menentukan topik/tema informasi yang akan dicari; Selection, informasi dalam bentuk media cetak seperti buku lebih diminati oleh mahasiswa; Eksploration, mahasiswa menggunakan alat bantu telusur seperti daftar pustaka ,katalog online dan search enggine untuk mencari informasi; Formulation, Informasi yang telah diperoleh disususn berdasarkan sub-sub bab sesuai kerangka penyusunan skripsi; Colection, informasi dikumpulkan dalam sebuah folder yang diberi nama khusus ;Presentation, informasi disajikan dalam bentuk hard copy.Walaupun banyak menemui kendala mahasiswa FIB merasa puas atas informasi yang telah mereka dapatkan. Mahasiswa FIB banyak berkunjung ke perpustakaan FIB untuk mencari informasi yang menunjang tugas skripsinya dengan tujuan utama untuk membaca skripsi terdahulu. Sedangkan untuk meminjam dan mencari buku yang sesuai tema/topik skripsinya, mahasiswa FIB mayoritas lebih memilih meminjam di perpustakaan jurusan, Perpustakaan UPT Undip dan, Badan Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Semarang. Hal ini dikarenakan di perpustakaan FIB koleksi bahan pustakanya tidak lengkap

Dampak Impor Cabai Dari Tiongkok Terhadap Perekonomian Indonesia Tahun 2010-2015

This research is a study of International relations in the field of International political economy. This research will discuss the impact of Chili imports from China in the Indonesian economy 2010-2015. Indonesia imports Chili pepper from China to meet the high market demand. This needs to be done so that the market price of Chili is not too high so people can afford it. Chili imports by Indonesia in large quantities have caused new problems. Chili farmers in Indonesia suffered losses due to the low price of Chilies they produce.In discussing the impact of Chili imports from China on the Indonesian economy in 2010-2015 the authors use a qualitative research methodology with data collection techniques library research (library research) derived from the sources of literature books, journal publications and various scientific articles. The perspective used is mercantilism. The level of analysis used is the Nation-State. Theory used is Import-Export Theory.The results of this research indicate that imported chilli made by Indonesia is an important action. However, in importing Indonesia should still pay attention to the amount of Chili to be imported. This needs to be done so that local Chili produced by Indonesian farmers is not cheap in the market. The government must strictly monitor the number of Chili import quotas from China. The Indonesian government should oversee private importers who often import more than their intended quota
