    Analysis of Understanding Ond Strengthening of Character Students Integration Through Passages Qauliyah Course Materials on the Development of Animal

    Research has been conducted conducted research to improve the understanding of students and strengthening the character through the integration of passages qauliyah on lecture material development of animals. This research is descriptive research that is focused on the integration of learning materials to strengthen the character through the study of passages qauliah set forth in the form of a paper-making tasks in subjects Animal Development held in Biology Education Studies Program, Department of Mathematics and Science Education at the University of Riau FKIP semester year 2014/2015 teachings. The subjects were students of Biology Education Program S1 are taking courses totaling Animals Developments 31 people. Research parameters measured in this study is the ability of students to integrate the value - the value of character include: religious, honest, disciplined, hard working, creative, independent, curiosity and duties in the form of a report in the form of paper. The result showed the depth of material is relatively good student it is seen by the results of student papers, 48.4% (15 people) of students scored on the category A, 45.2% (14 people) of students scored at the category B and only 6, 5% (2) category students studying material enough in the development of the selected animals. It shows more than 90% of students are able to explore and discuss the materials specified (in the form of verses kauniyah) to explore and integrate verses qauliyah (verse Al-Qur, an).     Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (Tps) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas VII SMP N 1 Sinaboi Satu Atap Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016

    : This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of learning science class VII SMPN 1 Sinaboi Satu Atap in the academic year 2015/2016 with the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles were conducted in March and April 2016. The subject of this research was the seventh grade students in the academic year 2015/2016 with a total of 25 people consisting of 12 students and 13 female students. The parameters in this study were (1) learning oucomes student consisting of absorption, mastery learning and appreciation of the group, (2) student learning activities and (3) the activities of teachers. The result showed that the absorption of the value of daily tests on the first cycle is 71.6 and increased in the second cycle becomes 73.4. Mastery learning students in the first cycle as many as 14 (56%) of people had increased in the second cycle to 17 (68%). Then the student activity also increased from 88.64% in the first cycle to 98.83% in the second cycle. The activities of teachers in the learning process in the first cycle average is 89.28% with both categories and increased in the second cycle with the average 96.43% and included a very good category.     Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a conceptual framework that shows the relationship between three kinds of knowledge needed by the teacher or prospective teacher including technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge. The objective of this study was to develop a workbook of Technological Knowledge (TK) for Stregthening Natural Science Teacher Competencies. The book was developed from essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test. Design, develop, simulation and validation of workbook by internal validator conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education FKIP University of Riau. External validation by experts, pilot test and user response of the workbook in MGMP IPA Pekanbaru. Workbooks validated on four aspects of the Technological Knowledge include format, content, illustrations and language. Validated workbook will be disseminate after revised. The workbook can be used as a learning resource by the teachers to improve technology competencies and teaching and learning process

    The aim of this research was to increase critical thinking skill on the subject digestion system grade VIII junior high school. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Department of the University of Riau PMIPA FKIP and SMPN 23 Pekanbaru in March to September 2016. The research is a research development by using ADDIE model of integration to the stage of development. There are 5 LKS developed. Instruments of data collection in this study is the validation sheet LKS, and questionnaire responses of learners. After LKS developed, validated by 4 validator then the tests I in the 4th semester 20 students of biology education FKIP UR, and a second trial on 20 students of Class VIII SMPN 23 Pekanbaru. The tests showed the average score feasibility aspects of the content of 5 LKS developed very valid category is 4.21, the average score 4.34 categories designing aspect is very valid, and the mean score of the pedagogic aspect is 4.69 very valid category. The mean overall score of the fifth aspect is 4.41 LKS very valid category. I trial results showed the average score 4.21 with very good category. II trial results showed a mean score of 4.57 in very good categories. The results of the analysis of the answers to the second trial showed a mean value of 87 in good categories. LKS oriented discovery learning model can increase the understanding and knowledge about the digestion system and can increase critical thinking skill of student

    S: The descriptive research has conducted to determine students perceptions VII.4 grade SMPN 2 Tambang of the application of cooperative models of TPS (Think Pair Share) in science teaching Biology Academic Year 2015/2016. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Tambang. This research was held in April and May 2016. The sample was grader VII.4 totaling 20 students. This study begins with the first made the implementation of cooperative model TPS to students. After Biology learning with the implementation of TPS type cooperative model is completed, a questionnaire distributed to 20 students. The questionnaire distributed contains 30 statements using five indicators which are attention, expectations, needs, system of values, and personality type. The type of questionnaire used was a enclosed questionnaire. The number of items prepared in accordance with the need to be able to represent the students perception of learning strategies and biology for students perception of the implementation of learning model TPS. Then data tabulated based on answers to the questionnaire of each item is given a score, for the items in question consists of five alternatives. Answers were analyzed using a graduated scale (rating scale) by using a value-shaped figure results. The average perception of students towards science biology teaching after implementation of cooperative model tps at each indicator in a row is 4.51 (Good), 4.53 (Good), 4.7 (Very Good), 4.6 (Good), 4.66 (Good). The results showed that the students perception of the implementation of the cooperative model TPS in science teaching Biology is good with average 4.6

    The aim of this research was to improve scientific attitude and biology learning result of students class VII4 at SMPN 2 Tambang with the application of think pair share model academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Tambang class VII4 on Maret until April 2016. This research was a classroom action research and collaborated with teacher of SMPN 2 Tambang. Subject of this research was student class VII4 that consist of 20 student (11 girls and 9 boys). The parameters of this research were scientific attitude and learning result. Scientific attitude consist of curiosity, collaboration, disiplin, responsibility and percayadiri. Learning result consist of reserve capacity and student thoroughtness. Data analysis consist of scientific attitude and students learning result. The result showed that the mean score of scientific attitude on 1 st cycle was 69,25%(kurang) and increased on 2nd cycle with the mean score was 89,75%(good). For reserve capacity, the mean score on 1 st cycle was 70,5%(kurang) and increased on 2 nd cycle with the mean score was 83%(good). For students thoroughness individually, the mean score was 80%(thorough) on 1 st cycle and 100%(thorough) on 2 nd cycle. Based on the result, it can be conclude that the application of think pair share model could improve scientific attitude and biology learning result of student class VII4 at SMPN 2 Tambang academic year 2015/2016

    This study is a class action that aims to improve the learning outcomes of students of class VII SMPN 1 Sinaboi Satu Atap 2015/2016 school year by implementing cooperative learning model type STAD. This research was conducted in two cycles of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The parameters in this study is the thoroughness of learning outcomes derived from the value of post tets and the daily test, student activities and teacher's activities are collected using observation sheet. The results showedabsorption in the first cycle was 69.24% (or less) and the second cycle increased to 87.2% (good). Mastery learning students in the first cycle that 74.96% (enough) and the second cycle increased to 81.04% (excellent).Group awards in the first cycle, one predicated super group and4 great predicated group. In the second cycle, the 2 groups and 3 groups predicated predicated super great. Learning activities of students during a discussion with the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD first cycle is 81% (good) increased to 93.87% (excellent) on the second cycle. Activities teachers in the learning process in the first cycle is 75%, (enough) and the second cycle was 95% (excellent). It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII SMPN 1 Sinaboi Atap school year 2015/2016

    This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills improvement through the application of the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in biology learning in class XI SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in class XI SMA PGRI Pekanbaru MIA 3 TA second semester 2015/2016. When the study from April to May 2016. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA 3 FY 2015/2016 with 23 students. The instrument used in this study is the syllabus, lesson plans and Student Assignment Sheet. The data collection technique were taken from an assessment from of students' critical thinking skills observation and students attitudes and achievement . The results obtained from this study is the percentage of critical thinking skills of students in the first cycle of 79.7% with prediket B and category Good, increased in the second cycle amounted to 93.1% with prediket A- and category of Very Good. Absorptive capacity in the first cycle to obtain a value of 85.08 prediket B + and Good category, increased in the second cycle of 87.8% with prediket B + and Good category. The completeness of students in the first cycle of 65.21 with prediket Both B- and categories, increased in the second cycle of 82.60 with prediket B + and Good category. While the attitudes of the students earned an average score on the first cycle of 89.1% with prediket B + and Good category, increased in the second cycle of 98.1% with prediket A and category of Very Good. It can be concluded that the adoption of problem based learning (PBL) can provide a positive impact on students' critical thinking skills in school SMA PGRI pekanbaru the academic year 2015/2016

    The objective of this study is to find out the correlation between the students' perception and the learning outcomes of the tenth grade students of MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru using the application of cooperative model Think Pair Share (TPS) academic year 2016/2017. The research was carried out from November until December 2016. The sample of this research was all of the tenth grade students of MA Muhammadiyah academic year 2016/2017 which consisted of 28 students. The learning outcomes consisted of the result of cognitive test, attitude observation sheet, and product scoring sheet. A closed-questionnaire consisted of 5 indicators and developed into 30 questions; a test consisted of 20 questions; and attitude observation sheet measured the curiosity, the critical, the discipline, and the responsibility; and the product scoring sheet consisted of 3 indicators such as the plan, the concept, and the product. All of closed-questionnaire items were valid and reliable. The reliability of the test which was analyzed by using Cronbach alpha was 0.77, 0,83, 0,85, 0,88, and 0,85 for each indicator. The validity of the test was analyzed by SPSS program 17.00. The analysis of the data was by converting the result into the criteria of scoring. Specifically for affective and psychomotor outcomes, were calculated by using a formula. The correlation of students' perception and learning outcomes using the application of cooperative model TPS was analyzed by using product moment correlation. The correlation between the students' perception and learning outcomes the application of cooperative model Think Pair Share (TPS) was obtained as follows: r value for the cognitive learning outcome was 0,57 which was included as average; r value for affective learning outcome was 0,54 which was included as average; and r value for psychomotor learning outcome was 0,23 which was included as low
