During last decade, supply chain management has emerged as a key for sustainable completive advantages. Increasing globalization has given birth to new philosophies and businessman has started focusing on the new ways of occupying market share. However, the share of Indonesia in global production has decreased from 31.953% in the start of this year to 20% in 2017. Which shows a gradual decrease of 11% in 16 years. To address this issue, the ultimate objective of this study is to develop a framework to boost global manufacturing through supply chain activities. This objective was achieved by examining the effect of supply chain agility, effective supply chain cost, supply chain responsiveness and risk management practices. Survey questionnaires was used to collect the data and PLS SEM used to analyze the data. It is found that supply chain agility, effective supply chain cost and supply chain responsiveness has significant positive effect on global manufacturing. Moreover, risk management practices as a moderating variable strengthen this effect and enhances the global manufacturing activities

Recent advances in advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) for the treatment of nitro- and alkyl-phenolic compounds

The presence of phenolic compounds in the aquatic environment has posed severe risks due to their toxicity. Among the phenolic families, nitro- and alkyl-phenolic compounds have been categorized as precedence contaminants by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA). Therefore, efficient treatment methods for wastewater containing nitro- and alkyl-phenolic compounds are urgently needed. Due to the advantages of creating reactive species and generating efficient degradation of hazardous contaminants in wastewater, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are well-known in the field of treating toxic contaminants. In this review paper, the recent directions in AOPs, catalysts, mechanisms, and kinetics of AOPs are comprehensively reviewed. Furthermore, the conclusion summarizes the research findings, future prospects, and opportunities for this study. The main direction of AOPs lies on the optimization of catalyst and operating parameters, with industrial applications remain as the main challenge. This review article is expected to present a summary and in-depth understanding of AOPs development; and thus, inspiring scientists to accelerate the evolution of AOPs in industrial applications

Background: Flood catastrophe has a major impact on healthcare service in Malaysia. However, there is no validated tool to measure the knowledge, attitude and practice of flood disaster management among healthcare providers involved in the response phase of a flood disaster in Malaysia. We aim to develop and validate a questionnaire in Bahasa Malaysia (FloodDMQ-BM) to measure the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of flood disaster management among healthcare providers. Materials and Methods: The questionnaire was developed based on four domains: standard operating procedure, transportation, alert system and communication. Psychometric analyses were tested on healthcare providers involved in patient management during flood disaster in Kelantan. The hypothetical concept of the items in attitude and practice sections was assessed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and internal consistency reliability. The knowledge section were analysed using 2-parameter logistic model of Item Response Theory. Result: 36 items were generated for FloodDMQ-BM.For both the attitude and practice items, the EFA have good factor loading (>0.5) and satisfactory internal consistency of 0.925 and 0.935 respectively. The remaining items in the knowledge section have good marginal fit and adequate Root Mean Square Error of Approximation of 0.08. All the remaining items have good standardized loading (>0.3) and marginal reliability of 0.623. Conclusion: The results suggested that the FloodDMQ-BM has valid and reliable psychometric properties
