    [Title: Analysis RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) in Determining Improvement Posture Workers Electrical Welding in a Welding Shop Electricity to Reduce the Risk Musculoskeletal Disorders] Place and work condition of the workplace with less comfortable could cause the emergence of musculoskeletal disorders. Nur's welding electricity shop is one of a welding shop electricity in Tembalang which serving various of welding product such as a fence iron, place of gallon, and so on. Some workers in that workshop do their work with less ergonomic body position. That position such as welding postion by bent and sit, or position sanding iron with squat position. This position is risky to emergence of musculoskeletal disorders. This research aims to understand value risk posture work of workers based on RULA's value and provide suggestion for worker's improvement and to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Actual posture obtained 7 for final score with welding position by bent and 5 to welding with sit position, and 7 for sanding with squat position. Chair and table used to reduce this emergence of musculoskeletal disorders with final score of 3

    ASYNCHRONOUS E-LEARNING UNTUK MATA KULIAH ALGORITMA STRUKTUR DATA BERBASIS INTRANET

    ABSTRAKSI: Elearning merupakan suatu sistem pendidikan yang menggunakan aplikasi elektronik untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar dengan media Internet, jaringan komputer,maupun komputer standalone. Dalam elearning dikenal dua macam metode penyampaian, yaitu Synchronous dan Asynchronous. Synchronous Elearning memungkinkan guru dan siswa berada dalam kelas dan waktu yang sama meskipun secara tempat berbeda. Misalnya seorang mahasiswa di Universitas A mengikuti kuliah lewat teleconference dengan professor yang ada di Stanford University. Akan tetapi terdapat beberapa kendala pada bandwidth besar dan biaya mahal, serta Indonesia sendiri belum siap untuk level ini dari sudut pandang kebutuhan maupun tingginya biaya. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dikenal satu metode lain yang bernama Asynchronous Elearning yang memungkinkan guru dan siswa dalam kelas yang sama meskipun dalam waktu yang berbeda. Asynchronous Elearning memiliki dua jenis content yaitu text base dan multimedia base. Elearning ini sendiri bertujuan untuk memantau perkembangan siswa dalam mempelajari pelajaran yang bersangkutan. Aplikasi tersebut berupa elearning Asynchronous Elearning yang berbentuk Web yang lebih menekankan pada isi (content) untuk membantu memahami mata kuliah algoritma struktur data.     Preparation and characterization of electrolytic alumina deposit on austenitic stainless steel

    Conversion coating modified by alumina has been studied as a way for improving the resistance to thermal oxidation of an austenitic stainless steel. Conversion coating, characterized by a particular morphology and strong interfacial adhesion with the substrate, facilitate the electrochemical deposition of ceramic layers and enhance their adhesion to the substrate. The influence of the current density and treatment time on alumina deposit was studied using statistical experimental designs like Doehlert uniform shell design. After heating, coatings present a continuous composition gradient with refractory compounds at the surface. The behavior at high temperature (1000 8C) of the alumina coating was investigated. The presence of alumina increases the oxidation resistance of an austenitic stainless steel at 1000 8C. The morphology and the chemical composition of the deposit are analyzed. Results on the thermal stability of coating on austenitic stainless steel are presented

The type of this research is explanatory research. Data collection techniques in this research were questionnaries, interviews, observation and literature study. The population that used in this research was the entire employee in PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Post Office of Ungaran 50500 amounts 55 employees. The data obtained were analyzed using validity test, reliability test, simple liniear regression, mutiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with t test and F test with SPSS 15.     In order to develop batik as one of the potential of local economies in Central Java, the study aims to analyze the condition in Pekalongan Batik Industry Cluster today, analyzes the factors that influence the growth of three Pekalongan Batik Industry Cluster, the Cluster Kampoeng Batik Kauman, Cluster Tourism Village Pesindon and cluster Batik Beard, and provide a recommendation to optimize the growth of the three clusters are compared with the current growth. This study used Diamond Model of Porter (1990) as a framework for analyzing the growth of a cluster. The method used in this study is Structural Equation Modelling using SmartPLS 2.0 software. The sample is contained batik entrepreneurs in Cluster Kampoeng Batik Kauman, Tourism Village Cluster Pesindon, and Cluster Batik Beard. The results of investigations show that there are three factors that equally affect the growth of clusters Kampoeng Batik Kauman, Pesindon Tourism Village Cluster and Cluster Batik Beard. The third factor is the existence of supporting and related industries, business strategy and competition, as well as the role of government. Among these three factors, the most influential factor for the growth of the cluster is the presence of strategy and competition. Furthermore, in addition to these three factors, the growth Klater Kampoeng Batik Kauman also influenced by demand conditions, cluster growth is affected by the Tourism Village Pesindon condition factor, and growth Kampung Batik Beard Cluster affected by the demand and factor conditions

    PENGARUH KETEBALAN ADHESIF EPOKSI/SERBUK ALUMINIUM DAN SURFACE TREATMENT TERHADAP KEKUATAN GESER SINGLE LAP JOINT PLAT ALUMINIUM/CFRP

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh ketebalan adhesif epoksi/serbuk aluminium dan surface treatment terhadap kekuatan geser, serta mengamati karakteristik penampang patah single lap joint plat aluminium/CFRP. Identifikasi karakteristik penampang patah dapat menjelaskan kekuatan geser single lap joint plat aluminium/CFRP. Plat Al 2024, CFRP, resin bisphenolic, promotor P-EX, katalis MEKPO, adhesif epoksi, serbuk aluminium, dan larutan kimia merupakan bahan dalam penelitian ini. CFRP dibuat dengan proses hand lay-up dengan 30% (w/w) serat karbon dan 70% (w/w) resin bisphenolic. Kandungan adhesif terdiri dari epoksi A dan B (1:1), dengan penambahan filler serbuk aluminium (12,5% dari berat total adhesif). Formula adhesif dicampur menggunakan mixing machine selama 6 menit pada kecepatan 60 rpm. Adhesif epoksi/serbuk aluminum dilaminasi pada kedua adherend. Waktu mulai penekanan adalah 20 menit, kemudian area sambungan ditekan pada tekanan 9 bar selama 6 jam. Variasi yang digunakan adalah ketebalan adhesif epoksi/serbuk aluminium (0,2 mm ; 0,4 mm ; 0,6 mm ; 0,8 mm ; 1 mm) dan surface treatment (acetone, chromate sulphuric acid, caustic etch, tucker’s reagent) pada plat Al 2024. Sebelum pengujian geser, semua spesimen diberikan perlakuan post cure dengan suhu 1000C selama 15 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peningkatan ketebalan adhesif dari 0,2 mm ke 0,4 mm menyebabkan peningkatan kekuatan geser single lap joint plat Al 2024/CFRP. Namun ketebalan adhesif di atas 0,4 mm menyebabkan penurunan kekuatan geser secara signifikan. Perilaku ini disebabkan oleh sifat adhesif epoksi/serbuk alumunim yang brittle; (2) surface treatment, acetone, menghasilkan kekuatan geser terbaik dengan nilai 9,31 N/mm2. Acetone menyebabkan lamination (pembasahan) adhesif terhadap permukaan plat Al 2024 lebih merata; (3) jenis kegagalan sambungan, mixed failure (light-fiber-tear failure dan cohesive failure), mengindikasikan kekuatan geser tertinggi.     Pengaruh Kandungan Dan Ukuran Serbuk Genteng Sokka Terhadap Ketahanan Bakar Komposit Geopolimer

    The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of particle content and grain size of Sokka roof tile powder on the burning endurance of the composite of Sokka roof tile powder - ripoxy R-802.The materials used were a Sokka roof tile powder (SGS), ripoxy R-802 resin, MEKPO catalyst and P-EX promotor. The Sokka roof tile powder was generated from the rejected Sokka roof tile which was crushed into powder. The powder was sieved to result in three size variances, which were mesh 80 retained in mesh 100 (177μm-149μm), mesh 150 retained in mesh 200 (99μm-74μm), and breaking away from mesh 200 (≤74μm). Prior to getting mixed with the resin, SGS was heated in an oven for 45 minutes in the temperature of 105oC. Afterwards, the powder was mixed with ripoxy R-802 resin for 3 minutes. The variances of SGS content were determined to be 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% composition. Making composite was conducted by press mould. Fixed composites was given post curing treatment in the temperatures of 80oC for 120 minutes. The burning testing on the composite was conducted on the basis of the standard of ASTM D-635. The indicator of burning endurance was determined by the data of time of burning (TOB) and rate of burning (ROB). The TOB resulted from the time of ignition and the ROB resulted from the time of fire propagation time in the composite. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the addition of SGS can improve the burning endurance of the composite of SGS-ripoxy R-802 as indicated by the increase in the TOB but the decrease of ROB due to the addition of the content of SGS; (2) the small size of the particle of SGS can increase the burning endurance of the composite of SGS-ripoxy R-802 as signified by the increase in the TOB but the decrease in the ROB due to the small size of the particle of SGS which breaks away from mesh 200 (≤74μm)
