The application of the international instruments of protection to, against the child labor in the artisan and small scale mining: the case of Colombia

Este documento analiza la normativa aplicable el trabajo infantil en la MAPE desde sus características diferenciadoras respecto de otras formas de trabajo infantil, así como en sus diferencias respecto de otros tipos de minería. Se revisa la normativa internacional sobre trabajo infantil minero en lo que respecta a los distintos sistemas de protección de derechos humanos del mundo y en especial, el caso colombiano. El análisis de su normativa y sus características, permiten indagar sobre las formas de aplicación de las normas internacionales, y las dificultades que pueden encontrarse a la hora de convertirse en políticas públicas a nivel local.This document analyzes the rules applicable to child labor in MAPE, since they differ from other forms of child labor, as well as their differences from other types of mining. For this purpose, international regulations on child labor are reviewed in regard to the different systems of human rights protection in the world, and especially the colombian case. The analysis of its regulations and its specific characteristics have allowed to investigate the forms of application of international standards, and the difficulties that can be encountered in becoming public policies at the local level

Microfinance and financial inclusion in the Senegalese Sahel : an analysis from the values of the SSE

El artículo argumenta el porqué las micro- finanzas, amparadas por los valores de la ESS, son promotoras de cambios estructurales en las relaciones sociales y económicas de las mujeres en contextos donde el derecho al crédito no está garantizado. Dicha valoración se realiza por medio del análisis de las prácticas realizadas por la mutua de crédito FADEC Njambur, en el entorno del Departamento de Kebemer, Senegal, y su comparación con los principios de la economía social y solidaria y su real aplicación en el terreno.The article argues why microfinance, protected by ESS values, are promoters of structural changes in women’s social and economic relations in contexts where the right to credit is not guaranteed. This valuation is carried out through the analysis of the practices developed by the credit mutual FADEC Njambur, in the surroundings of the Department of Kebemer, Senegal, and its comparison with the principles of the social and solidarity economy and its real application in the field
