Implementation of the Hough Transform for 3D Track Reconstruction in Drift Chambers
The paper is devoted to the method for 3D reconstruction of the straight
tracks in the tracking system consisting of the drift-chamber stereo layers.
The method is based on the Hough-transform approach - the discrete case of more
general Radon transform - and takes into account both coordinates of the hit
wires and drift distances not only for the measurements in one projection, but
also in the rotated stereo layers.
The proposed method allows one to resolve the right-left ambiguity and
provides the accordance between vertical and horizontal projections of the
track.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures, submitted to the VIth International

Worthy of faith?: Authors and readers in early modernity
This chapter will consider how the traditional (classical Roman and Europeanmedieval) definition of the “author” as “one worthy of faith” (the faith of thereader, obviously) is put increasingly to the test during the early modern period, as the notion of literary writing gradually moves from epistemological (vatic) and/or ethical-rhetorical models toward what Terry Eagleton has called “the ideology of the aesthetic” – that is, toward suspension of readerly belief in the moral fidelity and intellectual credibility of the literary writer. In a classic formulation, the literary author as a distinctive “personal” and individual presence, indeed as willful demideity “making worlds,” first emerges in what we sometimes still call the Renaissance: first in the Italy of Dante and Petrarch, and then, gradually, spreads throughout the nascent vernacular traditions of western Europe. What follows will rehearse some clichés of the topic, one hopes in an appealing way, and lay out to shift the terms of the discussion in others. In particular, I will focus on the intuitively obvious, yet not always thoroughly explored, point that any notion of authorship is intricately tied to ideas, and realities, of readership. More especially, I will explore, on the one hand, the question of authorial control over the meaning of a text as this takes shape in the experience of its readers and, on the other, how such readers may either trustingly embrace the offered sense of the text or willfully recast it
UPAYA PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP PEMAIN SEPAKBOLA JIKA MENGALAMI CEDERA BERDASARKAN KONTRAK ANTARA KLUB DAN PEMAIN (STUDI KASUS PADA PEMAIN LIGA TIGA)
Football has now become a very large industry and involves many sectors. Included
in cooperation agreements, including in Indonesia. However, often the rights of the players
themselves are not fulfilled. This happens because of the lack of legal protection and
understanding of professional football players regarding their rights in employment
contracts. This research uses empirical methods by not only reading the law, but also
having to directly determine what happened according to actual circumstances or events.
The data sources in this research use primary and secondary data. Data collection
techniques include interviews and literature study. Based on the results of research and
discussion of legal protection efforts for football players if they suffer an injury based on
the contract between the club and the player (case study on third league players). The
conclusion in this case is that football clubs prioritize the welfare of ensuring the rights of
football players and PSSI supervises football clubs more in carrying out the contents of
contracts to guarantee the rights that should be obtained by and legal protection of players.
The conclusion in this case is that football clubs in making agreements with players must
be more detailed in the clauses contained in the contract agreement and PSSI will increase
supervision over football clubs in Indonesia to ensure that cooperation agreements between
players and clubs can be equally beneficial for each other. all parties. And if there are clubs
that still do not follow the existing regulations, they can give warnings or sanctions so that
they can promote football in Indonesia
A game demonstrating aspects of bumblebee natural history
The Bumblebee Game is an exciting outdoor game, which demonstrates aspects of bumblebee natural history
including food chains, food webs and competition for food, predation by crab spiders, parasitism by Conopidae
(Diptera) and brood parasitism by cuckoo bees. It has been played successfully with groups of 10-25 people.
Although most suitable for 6-14 year olds, adults have had a lot of fun playing this game
