This research has purpose to find out the teaching material that is used by teacher of Accounting Tenth Class in Surabaya State Vocational High School 4, the teacher reason in using that teaching material and find out the teaching material feasibilty that is used. This research kind is descriptive research with quantitative approach. This research result shows that teaching material that is used by teacher is An Accounting Lesson Book for SMK Tenth Class KTSP Edition, written by Toto Sucipto, dkk. Teacher uses that book because the content is systematic, easy to understand, suitable with the school curriculum and syllabus, and also the book price is achievable. Based on the analysis of teaching material feasibilty gotten result that the teaching material that used by teacher on productive accounting lesson in first accounting tenth class Surabaya State Vocational High School 4 is very feasible if used as teaching material in learning process. Propagation of Policies in Rich Data Flows

Governing the life cycle of data on the web is a challenging issue for organisations and users. Data is distributed under certain policies that determine what actions are allowed and in which circumstances. Assessing what policies propagate to the output of a process is one crucial problem. Having a description of policies and data flow steps implies a huge number of propagation rules to be specified and computed (number of policies times number of actions). In this paper we provide a method to obtain an abstraction that allows to reduce the number of rules significantly. We use the Datanode ontology, a hierarchical organisation of the possible relations between data objects, to compact the knowledge base to a set of more abstract rules. After giving a definition of Policy Propagation Rule, we show (1) a methodology to abstract policy propagation rules based on an ontology, (2) how effective this methodology is when using the Datanode ontology, (3) how this ontology can evolve in order to better represent the behaviour of policy propagation rules

    The Inductive Method

At the present day the method most in evidence and which has stood the test of time and experience, is the Inductive Method. Like all fruitful ideas, it is not the exclusive claim of anyone man. True, Francis Bacon is especially identified with the Inductive Method, but others discerned its value and applied its principles long before the Sense-Realist made it live in his works.Macaulay in his Essays (Volume III. P. 459) shows us that Francis Bacon was not the original inventor of the Inductive Method which, he says with truth, has been practiced ever since the beginning of the world by every human being

IoT-O, a Core-Domain IoT Ontology to Represent Connected Devices Networks

    Get PDF
International audienceSmart objects are now present in our everyday lives, and the Internet of Things is expanding both in number of devices and in volume of produced data. These devices are deployed in dynamic ecosystems , with spatial mobility constraints, intermittent network availability depending on many parameters (e.g. battery level or duty cycle), etc. To capture knowledge describing such evolving systems, open, shared and dynamic knowledge representations are required. These representations should also have the ability to adapt over time to the changing state of the world. That is why we propose IoT-O, a core-domain modular IoT ontology proposing a vocabulary to describe connected devices and their relation with their environment. First, existing IoT ontologies are described and compared to requirements an IoT ontology should be compliant with. Then, after a detailed description of its modules, IoT-O is instantiated in a home automation use case to illustrate how it supports the description of evolving systems
