EPIZOOTOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES OF IRRIGATION OF THE PRICASPIAN LOWLAND
The mechanisms of influence of irrigation on the biocenotic structure and epizootic activity of the Pricaspian sand locus of plague. For the first time, the peculiarities of the species composition and the dynamics of the number of the rodents in the zones of irrigation have been established; the up-to-date boundaries of areals of the forest and field mouse, of the common and water vole, grey rat have been established on the territory of the Kalmykia. The seasonal peculiarities of the development of the plague epizooties in the populations of the mouse-type rodents in the Pricaspian Lowland have been revealed.
