Background: At the time of menstruation is very necessary self care to keep and maintain the hygiene during the menstruation, especially the vulva hygiene. Vulva hygiene behavior considerations in young women are still very low, such as the indolence of replacing sanitary pad that can cause the vagina irritation. It causes because of the lack of young women’s knowledge about vulva hygiene during the menstruation. Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of young women’s knowledge against the management behavior of vulva hygiene during menstruation in grade X and XI students at SMA Xaverius 2 Palembang. Method: This study uses the analytical survey method with cross sectional apporoach and sampling with total sampling as much 108 respondents. Result: The results of this found is 73 (67,6%) have good knowledge and 35 (32,4%) have less knowledge. Whereas good behavior as much as 84 (77,8) and 25 (23,1%) have less behavior. From the results of chi square test, obtained, there is correlation of young women’s knowledge against the management behavior of vulva hygiene during menstruation with p value is 0,002. Providing counseling about vulva hygiene during menstruation is very necessary to provide in improving the knowledge and behavior of young women about vulva hygiene management

Measurement of J/ψ\psi production as a function of multiplicity in pp and p-Pb collisions with ALICE

The increase of hard probe production as a function of the charged particle multiplicity in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions is considered to be an interesting observable for the study of multiple parton interactions. In the present work, the correlation between J/ψ\psi production and charged particle multiplicity has been reviewed in pp collisions at s=7\sqrt{s} = 7 and 13 TeV and p-Pb collisions at sNN\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02 TeV at mid- and forward rapidities. The J/ψ\psi measurement in pp collisions at s\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV using events triggered by the ALICE electromagnetic calorimeter at midrapidity is discussed in this report, too. An increment of the relative J/ψ\psi yields has been observed as a function of the multiplicity. The results have also been compared to theoretical model predictions.Comment: 6 pages, 8 figures, ICNFP 2017, International Conference on New Frontiers in Physics, Crete, Greece, 17 - 29 August, 201

Longing, Belonging and the Politics of Naming: The Case of the Khache

    Get PDF
In Tibet, Muslim traders and subsequent settlers from Kashmir were called Khache. Over the years, this term has come to acquire multiple significations. By engaging with the complex history of the group and their eventual return to Kashmir, this paper tries to uncover these very significations and how the idea of Khache represents a coming together of the Himalayan region (Tibet, Nepal, Kashmir, Darjeeling, Kalimpong). In their multi-layered notion of belonging, there is a strong sense of attachment to the imagined Tibet, reflecting a harmoniously lived life, while further complexities emerge from their repatriation to the ancestral land of Kashmir. Referred to as Kashmiri Muslims (loosely, Khache) in Tibet, and now as Tibetan Muslims in Kashmir, the confusion in identity is as much linguistic as political. We should also note that regional prefixes such as ‘Tibetan’ or ‘Kashmiri’ don’t just fixate associations with regions, but also with regimes of power and powerful agents. As such, through this article, I am trying to argue for a geographically and politically neutral or at least less problematic term Khache. Finally, this paper is an ethnographic examination of how different representations and regional influences can be witnessed in everyday life performances for this group, and how these ultimately shape their sense of being. In the same vein, we will locate Islam emerging as a constant and source of justification to life\u27s trials and tribulations – as often portrayed by the analogy to hijrat – the journey to save one\u27s religion

This blended learning model is a model that combines teaching models, ways of presenting material, learning styles and media used for support. This model is done by combining face-to-face learning and online learning. Blended learning is considered as a refinement of the e-learning method that specializes learners to conduct a full learning process with an online system. Therefore, blended learning is considered to be more effective and does not make learners feel bored because they still have the opportunity to communicate two-way directly. Blended learning model is a learning model that is implemented by using two methods at once. This learning model usually uses a learning model system that combines technology both online and offline. Blended learning is interpreted as a model that combines learning by using a learning media, but it also combines theories, methods and dimensions of teaching. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the blended learning model is a learning model that in its application combines two methods, which can be done face-to-face in class or online while still paying attention to the learning objectives to be achieved

Galactic Parameters from Masers with Trigonometric Parallaxes

Spatial velocities of all currently known 28 masers having trigonometric parallaxes, proper motion and line-of-site velocities are reanalyzed using Bottlinger's equations. These masers are associated with 25 active star-forming regions and are located in the range of galactocentric distances 3<R<14 kpc. To determine the Galactic rotation parameters, we used the first three Taylor expansion terms of angular rotation velocity {\Omega} at the galactocentric distance of the Sun R0=8 kpc. We obtained the following solutions: {\Omega}o=-31.0 +/- 1.2 km/s/kpc, {\Omega}o'=4.46 +/- 0.21 km/s/kpc^2, {\Omega}o"=-0.876 +/- 0.067 km/s/kpc^3, Oort constants: A=17.8 +/- 0.8 km/s/kpc, B=-13.2 +/- 1.5 km/s/kpc and circular velocity of the Solar neighborhood rotation Vo=248 +/- 14 km/s. Fourier analysis of galactocentric radial velocities of masers VR allowed us to estimate the wavelength {\lambda}=2.0 +/- 0.2 kpc and peak velocity f_R=6.5 +/- 2 km/s of periodic perturbations from the density wave and velocity of the perturbations 4 +/- 1 km/s near the location of the Sun. Phase of the Sun in the density wave is estimated as {\chi}o ~ -130^o +/- 10^o. Taking into account perturbations evoked by spiral density wave we obtained the following non-perturbed components of the peculiar Solar velocity with respect to the local standard of rest (LSR) (Uo,Vo,Wo)LSR=(5.5,11,8.5) +/- (2.2,1.7,1.2) km/s.Comment: 8 pages, 1table, 9 figures, accepte
