    TRANSLATOR APPLICATIONS MESSENGER JAVA BASED AND GOOGLE TRANSLATE API

    The purpose of this research is to produce a messenger applications such as Messenger Translator Applications. Then test the feasibility of the application as an application that makes it easy to translate language or translator in chat communication. The application is developed using Java programming language and integrated with Google Translate API. The function of the Google Translate API as a language translator automatically in the messenger. This study uses research and development method. The steps of the method requirements such analysis, design, coding, and testing. Alpha testing performed by 2 expert software engineering. While beta testing conducted by the respondent as many as 16 students. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative descriptive is used to declare the results of the calculation in the form of percentage viability. The results of the analysis showed that the Messenger software Translator Application is valid in terms of correctness and reliability. In alpha testing, software earn a percentage of 90% in terms of functionality and 85% in terms of usability. While proprietary software, according to the user by 89.69% from 83.45% in terms of functionality and in terms of usability. Keywords: application, messenger, translato

    For some students, EFL (English Foreign Language) reading is one of the most uninteresting subjects because it can make them bored easily. Kweldju (1996) found that students were not interested in reading although they thought some texts books were useful for their study. Meanwhile, English is a compulsory subject that must be studied by Indonesian students. If they get bad to comprehend EFL reading, it means that their English is still bad so that they cannot get the information from the reading text. The goal of the teaching EFL reading in Indonesia is to comprehend the reading texts on which Indonesian students must be able to read science-related texts written in English.     Phase Transition in a Long Range Antiferromagnetic Model

    We consider an Ising model where longitudinal components of every pair of spins have antiferromagnetic interaction of the same magnitude. When subjected to a transverse magnetic field at zero temperature, the system undergoes a phase transition of second order to an ordered phase and if the temperature is now increased, there is another phase transition to disordered phase. We provide derivation of these features by perturbative treatment up to the second order and argue that the results are non-trivial and not derivable from the known results about related models.Comment: 3 page

    Urban areas in developing countries have been growing exponentially. In a list of cities with 5 million people or more, Mumbai did not feature in 1950, but in 1975 it occupied the 15th position which changed to 5th in 2000 and is expected to be 3rd by 2015. The rapid and continued growth of Mumbai and its sprawling metropolitan regions has put considerable strain on the city’s infrastructure and caused environmental degradation. Not only is Mumbai one of the most crowded cities in the world, its residential floor space consumption per person is one of the lowest in the world. With a population of about 14 million and growing daily, the task of providing adequate housing is becoming an increasing challenge in Mumbai, especially due to the geographical constraints of the Island City. Most research on the subject has advocated a high density and compact city. However, this research has not taken account of the finite sources of water, energy and food for which the city is dependent on its hinterland or the potential of any new development to harness its own water or energy from renewable resources. High-rise residential buildings are being promoted as a sustainable solution by the government and researchers alike, with almost no consideration of the environmental impact of increased density. This paper will review current research and critically analyse the options for Mumbai. A method of using an ecological footprint will also be discussed. The footprint allows an analysis of the environmental impact of density based not only on resources and consumption within the city but also on the depleting resources from outside the city that feed the population and power the economy

    Warming up D3 brane motion in the background of D5 brane and Inflation

    The position of a mobile D-3 brane moving towards a stack of localized D-5 branes has been studied as a candidate driving inflation in the warm inflationary scenario. We compare the results obtained by considering the dissipation parameter Γ\Gamma as an arbitrary function of only the inflaton field and a particular form derived by Bastro-Gil et al \cite{Berera8}. We find that the observables remain well within the recent observational constraint for a wide range of model parameters for the first case whereas the spectral index in the later case is always predicted blue, other cosmological observables remaining well within bound for a wider range of parameters though.
