Discovery of Gamma-ray Emission from M31 via FERMI-LAT
2 years worth of archival FERMI-LAT data was used to search for the gamma-ray
emission from the Andromeda galaxy. The data show no noticeable elliptical
image. Subsequent on-off source aperture photometry analysis using a CO image
template show a 7 sigma excess in the number of on-source apertures in
comparison to the off-source apertures, yielding a flux of (4.95+/-0.71)x10-8
photons cm-2 s-1 for E>100 MeV.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure
A propósito de un caso de quiste mesentérico
Introducción: los quistes de mesenterio son lesiones intraabdominales que con frecuencia evolucionan como una tumoración asintomática, o con síntomas dados por compresión de estructuras vecinas. Estas lesiones pueden ocurrir a cualquier edad y su presentación clínica incluye abdomen agudo, obstrucción intestinal mecánica o tumor abdominal. Presentación del caso: se trata de una paciente con un gran tumor abdominal no doloroso a la palpación, no adherido a planos profundos, móvil, ubicado en flanco y fosa ilíaca izquierdos. En la intervención quirúrgica se encontró gran quiste mesentérico de aproximadamente 8 cm de diámetro, realizándose exéresis del mismo. Resultando una evolución favorable. Se realizó seguimiento postoperatorio durante 2 años y la paciente no ha presentado recidivas. Conclusión: el diagnostico precoz y tratamiento adecuado de todos estos quistes tiene asociado un buen pronóstico y muy pocas posibilidades de recidiva

In the society of today it’s very hard for companies to succeed with mergers. (A.L.Pablo, M.Javidan:2004) This study intends to elucidate the importance of internal marketing and internal communication with mergers. The intention with this essay is to study and analyse the merger between the two companies Astra and Zeneca and study the employers at the time when the merger took place in 1999. I have chosen to do this study on the basis of an employer’s perspective. I have used existing theories as internal communication, internal marketing and mergers and acquisition. The empirical data is based on a questionnaire focusing on how the employers handled the merger AstraZeneca. The questionnaire was responded by 60 employers from AstraZeneca. The conclusion in this study is that internal marketing and internal communication are really important for mergers to succeed and that the internal marketing and communication in AstraZeneca was well organised. That was the main reason for AstraZeneca’s success. Companies should understand the importance of internal cooperation especially with mergers, when a lot of knowledge and information is vital for succeed
