Russian studies are the important part of area studies in Chinese science. In 21st century the research of Russia has played the great role in People's Republic of China. The Chinese scholars attempted to determine the role of the collapse of the USSR and the appearance of new state the Russian Federation for their country. The modern Russian studies in China have been oriented to the needs of the Chinese foreign policy and the ideology of the ruling Communist Party of China. The objects of the contemporary Russian studies in China are the two interconnecting themes: the one is the history of Russia-China relations and its current situation; the other is the Russian history and current affairs. In this paper we attempt to find the Chinese interpretation of Russia foreign policy from Soviet period to Putin's era. We use the open sources: papers, monographies, official web-sites of the two main research centres of Russian studies: the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Institute of Russia, East Europe and Central Asia of CASS – to conclude that the Chinese researches of Russian studies reflect the core of the Chinese government position

AbstractThe South Korea as the any other country has some nationalistic influence in history interpretation. In the question of mythologizing history the Korean nationalism uses the standard myths which we can find in the official history of any country, for example in Russia history. Some Korea historical myths are enough famous especially among Korean studies scholars. This paper attempts to find out the most wide spreading historical myths, analyze them and show their influence on the day-by-day life of Koreans. The analysis includes such myths as the myth of the very ancient history of Korean state (the myth of Dangun), the myth of the territorial ambitions, the myth of the foreign influence absence, etc. Also we pay attention to the image of enemy in Korean historical myths. We conclude that the process of mythologizing history in Korea is using for nationalism propaganda inside and outside of South Korea. The South Korean government institutions monitor all textbooks on Korean history in the goal to support the “right” interpretation of historical events

The transboundary resources management is the urgent issue where political, social, economic and environmental interdependences appear and where integrated development and management of transboundary resources and territories have the potential to yield the greatest success. More than half of the world’s population depends daily upon water resources shared by more than one country. As the needs for this precious resource continue to increase, the imperative for cooperation between countries for better managing this resource has never been greater. New means are required to better manage water resources at every possible scale; especially in the highly complex situation of transboundary waters
