    This research is based on the importance of the character of discipline in students. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of pencak silat extracurriculars in instilling the character of discipline in fourth grade students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data that researchers got in the field used data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were pencak silat extracurricular teachers, fourth grade homeroom teachers and fourth grade students at SDN Karawaci Baru 1 Tangerang City. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of pencak silat extracurricular activities in instilling the character of student discipline can improve the discipline of students when school activities take place, including  1) discipline in dress, 2) discipline in terms of time, 3) discipline in worship, 4) discipline in study thing

    Membaca merupakan aspek dari keterampilan dari membaca adalah gerbang pengetahuan karena dengan membaca kita dapat memperoleh informasi, kemampuan membaca bukan hanya sekadar mengenal huruf dan simbol saja, tetapi kemampuan membaca adalah kemampuan yang harus bisa memahami makna atau arti dari sebuah teks yang telah dibaca dan ditulis tidak jarang seseorang hanya bisa membaca saja tanpa paham isi bacaanya. Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dibutuhkan suatu strategi yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pemahaman, untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada peserta didik serta untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan membaca pemahaman pada peserta didik. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik di kelas IV masih rendah hal ini terlihat dari indikator yaitu peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami bacaan pada soal, peserta didik kesulitan dalam menceritakan kembali, dan peserta didik kesulitan dalam menyimpulkan isi teks. Hal ini disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal pada peserta didik, solusinya yaitu dengan guru menggunakan media untuk membantu proses pembelajaran serta tidak hanya menggunakan metode ceramah saja, tetapi guru sebaiknya menggunakan model yang bervariasi agar peserta didik aktif dalam pembelajaran

    This study aims to describe the professional competence of tahfidz Al-Qur'an teachers at the Khalifah Islamic Elementary School both in terms of understanding, the process, to the impact on the students. This research method is qualitative with descriptive type. The results of this study are tahfidz teachers at the Khalifah Islamic Elementary School are able to explain the professional competence of teachers. In the learning process, the teacher is also able to apply the teacher's professional abilities in tahfidz learning by explaining recitation material, conducting questions and answers, guiding students in memorizing using the tilawati method, and conducting evaluations and assessments, so that this has a good impact on the seriousness and ability of students in learning memorize the Qur'an

    In this research, the author will focus on discipline first and then continue to explain why it is important to have discipline and this can be achieved by having classroom rules and effective classroom management.  The term "discipline" is applied to penalties that are a consequence of breaking the rules.  The purpose of discipline is to set boundaries that limit certain behaviors or attitudes that are considered harmful or contrary to school policies, educational norms, school traditions, etc.  As for the discussion of this article, it also discusses several theories that are used as a reference source in making this scientific article such as the theory of Positive Approach, Teacher effectiveness training, approaches, and appropriate school learning theory which will be discussed for determination and in-depth research on classroom management strategies.  which can be considered effective.  Then also discussed about the purpose of classroom management so as to create a disciplined environment, which of course will play an important role in creating a conducive environment for learning

    The aim of this research is to find out and describe the role of the reading corner in growing and increasing the reading interest of the people of Alam Jaya Village. Interest in reading is a desire to read based on encouragement from within oneself. Reading interest is not the same as reading activities, however, in simple terms reading interest can be said to be the potential for voluntary reading. This research uses qualitative methods with the research object being the reading corner located in the Al-Qobul Mosque, Alam Jaya Village and the research subjects are children of productive age in Alam Jaya Village. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained qualitatively shows that the reading corner at the Al-Qobul Mosque is especially for children aged 6-17 years. The results of the research show that the Alam Jaya Village reading corner provides several roles as follows: 1. Increase people's interest in reading, 2. Increase children's enthusiasm for learning, 3. Increase insight and knowledge for readers, 4. Fill the free time of people who visit the Mosque Al-Qobul, and 5.
