STIMULATION OF INNOVATIVE-INVESTMENT PROCESS: WORLD EXPERIENCE

In the article results of the comparative analysis of world experience of stimulation of innovative-investment process through theformation of a favorable tax climate are generalized. Development of tax stimulation of innovation activity is considered as a crucialfactor in building a new model of economic growth. It is concluded that within the subject principle there are three elements of thestimulation instrument: amortization privileges, preferences concerning the profits tax, indirect measures of tax stimulation. Analysis of Russian and global game studies: ludology vs. narratology

The author reviews the past-to-present academic literature on game studies from the perspective of ludology and narratology. The academic study of video games has grown substantially since 2001 - the year Game Studies started publishing its first articles. Yet both ludology and narratology remain a particularly new field, especially in the Russian academic field, and many of its discussed themes have yet to attain widespread recognition. The academic articles published between 2017 and 2022 were reviewed to provide understanding of the current state of the research on ludology and narratology in various research areas. The corpus was gathered by searching publications in international database Scopus. Each article was categorized according to the type of database, period of time, the country of publication, the field of study and the frequency of citations. The applied method of quantitative research allows tracking the development of research within five years in the field of game studies. Several proposals for further research in this field were put forward. The main hypothesis of this work is that one type of methodology is more applicable than the other, considering the background. The author concludes that one type of methodology can prevail in research - depending on the region of the published article

Transforming the future: a review of artificial intelligence models

A comprehensive review of existing artificial intelligence models, focusing on fourteen prominent language and multimodal generative models from four rapidly evolving categories: Marketing, Copywriting, Image Improvement, and Social Media, is made. As of May 2023, 1,523 AI models are available to end users, with notable Russian services such as Balaboba, GigaChat, and Kandinskiy 2.0 emerging as counterparts to popular foreign neural networks. The potential applications of these tools in various media production domains, including journalism, marketing, and copywriting, are explored. It was necessary to talk about language models, since these are the ones, most connected not only to the media sphere, but to academic writing as well. Moreover, the authors delve into the ethical considerations associated with the use of AI models in professional settings, addressing potential challenges and concerns. The importance of responsible development, use, and regulation of AI technology, as well as the need for collaboration among researchers, governments, and private organizations to ensure ethical AI practices, is highlighted. The authors also outline the prospects for further development of AI models and related research, emphasizing the need to foster an environment of continuous learning for innovation that is inclusive and accessible. This approach will help maximize the benefits of AI while minimizing potential harm, paving the way for a more prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future. The presented materials can serve as an introduction to the emerging branch of AI models development

Анализ российских и глобальных исследований игр: игровая механика и развитие нарратива

Количество академических исследований, посвященных проблеме видеоигр, значительно возросло с 2001 года, когда по теме Game Studies начали публиковаться первые статьи. Тем не менее как лудология, так и нарратология остаются достаточно неизученной областью, особенно в российском академическом поле, и многие из обсуждаемых тем еще не получили широкого признания. Проанализированы научные статьи, опубликованные в период с 2017 по 2022 год, для получения представления о текущем состоянии исследований по лудологии и нарратологии в различных научных областях. Корпус собран путем поиска публикаций в международной базе данных Scopus. Каждая статья классифицирована по типу базы данных, периоду времени, стране публикации, области исследования и частоте цитирования. Примененный метод количественного исследования позволяет проследить развитие исследований в течение пяти лет в области видеоигр. Выдвинуты несколько предложений по дальнейшим исследованиям в этой области. Основная гипотеза данной работы заключается в том, что один тип методологии применяется чаще, чем другой, если смотреть на историю функционирования рынка в прошлом. Установлено, что в исследованиях может преобладать один тип методологии - в зависимости от региона опубликованной статьи

Soil fertility management in apple orchard with microbial biofertilizers

Intensification of horticulture in Russia involves planting of new high-density orchards with drip irrigation and fertigation as well as intensification of the exploitation of traditional orchards. This approach involves an increase in mineral fertilizer application imposing the risk of soil fertility loss. For several reasons, the use of traditional organic fertilizers like manure in orchards is currently marginal. Although bacteria-based biofertilizers cannot substitute mineral fertilizers completely, they can significantly reduce the need for mineral fertilizer application. The effect of microbial biofertilizers of the brands “Azotovit” (Azotobacter chroococcum), “Phosphatovit” (Bacillus mucilaginosus), as well as a mixture of bacteria and the fungus, “Organic” (Azotobacter chroococcum, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, Trichoderma harzian) was studied in two field experiments. In the experiment #1, the preparations “Azotovit” and “Phosphatovit” were delivered through a drip irrigation system in various combinations with mineral fertilizers. In experiment #2, the preparation “Organic” was also applied to the soil with irrigation water, also in combination with the mineral fertilizer. When solely applied, none of the studied preparations changed significantly the soil nutrient content and yield as compared with the variant fertilized by the mineral fertilizer at the maximum studied application rate. The combination of the microbial biofertilizer and mineral fertilizers applied at a low rate ensured the yield commensurate to that obtained under high-rate application of the mineral fertilizer

Особое внимание уделено четырнадцати известным языковым и мультимодальным генеративным моделям из четырех быстро развивающихся категорий инструментов: Marketing, Copywriting, Image Improvement и Social Media. По состоянию на май 2023 г. конечным пользователям доступны 1523 модели ИИ, среди которых выделяются такие российские сервисы, как Balaboba, GigaChat и Kandinskiy 2.0, являющиеся аналогами популярных зарубежных нейросетей. Рассматриваются потенциальные возможности применения этих инструментов в различных сферах медиапроизводства, включая журналистику, маркетинг и копирайтинг. Обсуждаются языковые модели, поскольку именно они больше всего связаны не только с медиасферой, но и с академическим письмом. Затрагиваются этические аспекты: потенциальные проблемы, связанные с использованием моделей ИИ в профессиональной сфере. Подчеркивается важность ответственного подхода к разработке, использованию и регулированию технологий ИИ, а также сотрудничества между исследователями, правительствами и частными организациями для обеспечения этичности применения ИИ.
