It is assessed components of a physical fitness of students. It is analyzed the internal and external factors affecting the quality of life for students. The study involved more than 200 students. Found that students represent a category of people with elevated risk factors, which include the nervous and mental tension, constant violations of the food, work and leisure, in their way of life there is a lack of care about their health. It is noted that the existing approaches to promoting physical fitness of students are inefficient and require the development and implementation of brand new contemporary theoretical foundations and practical approaches to the problem of increasing the activity of students. It is proved that sold today in the practice of higher education forms, methods, learning tools do not allow to fully ensure the implementation of approaches to promoting physical fitness of students do not meet the requirements for the preparation of the modern health professional

Mucormycosis is a serious fungal infection, which increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. We retrospectively analyzed 5 histopathologically confirmed cases of rhino-cerebral mucormycosis, which were diagnosed in patients admitted to Smolensk regional clinical hospital from November 2021 to January 2022. All patients were older than 60 years of age and had a recent history of laboratoryconfirmed severe COVID-19 and were treated in infection hospitals. All patients had decompensated type 2 diabetes mellitus; 80% of patients had concomitant cardiovascular diseases (coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension), 100% of patients received previous treatment with systemic corticosteroids for COVID-19 in hospitals. All patients underwent surgical treatment. Antifungal therapy (amphotericin B) was administered, and one patient received posaconazole due to a lack of efficacy of amphotericin B. The length of hospital stay ranged from 14 to 56 days. The overall 3-month survival rate of patients with rhinocerebral mucormycosis was 80%

The article discusses pregnancy course and labor outcomes in women with chronic hypertension. We divided all pregnant into two groups in dependence on the kind of antihypertensive treatment. The main group treatment was nebivalol monotherapy, the control group took combined medications in different compositions (atenolol, methyldopa, nifedipin). We revealed nebivalol therapy significantly decreased the number of gestational complications and adverse perinatal outcomes and in pregnant with chronic hypertension.

Fragmentation and Multifragmentation of 10.6A GeV Gold Nuclei

We present the results of a study performed on the interactions of 10.6A GeV gold nuclei in nuclear emulsions. In a minimum bias sample of 1311 interac- tions, 5260 helium nuclei and 2622 heavy fragments were observed as Au projec- tile fragments. The experimental data are analyzed with particular emphasis of target separation interactions in emulsions and study of criticalexponents. Multiplicity distributions of the fast-moving projectile fragments are inves- tigated. Charged fragment moments, conditional moments as well as two and three -body asymmetries of the fast moving projectile particles are determined in terms of the total charge remaining bound in the multiply charged projectile fragments. Some differences in the average yields of helium nuclei and heavier fragments are observed, which may be attributed to a target effect. However, two and three-body asymmetries and conditional moments indicate that the breakup mechanism of the projectile seems to be independent of target mass. We looked for evidence of critical point observable in finite nuclei by study the resulting charged fragments distributions. We have obtained the values for the critical exponents gamma, beta and tau and compare our results with those at lower energy experiment (1.0A GeV data). The values suggest that a phase transition like behavior, is observed.Comment: latex, revtex, 28 pages, 12 figures, 3tables, submitted to Europysics Journal

The complex variability of blazars: time-scales and periodicity analysis in S4 0954+65

Among active galactic nuclei, blazars show extreme variability properties. We here investigate the case of the BL Lac object S4 0954+65 with data acquired in 2019–2020 by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) and by the Whole Earth Blazar Telescope (WEBT) Collaboration. The 2-min cadence optical light curves provided by TESS during three observing sectors of nearly 1 month each allow us to study the fast variability in great detail. We identify several characteristic short-term time-scales, ranging from a few hours to a few days. However, these are not persistent, as they differ in the various TESS sectors. The long-term photometric and polarimetric optical and radio monitoring undertaken by the WEBT brings significant additional information, revealing that (i) in the optical, long-term flux changes are almost achromatic, while the short-term ones are strongly chromatic; (ii) the radio flux variations at 37 GHz follow those in the optical with a delay of about 3 weeks; (iii) the range of variation of the polarization degree and angle is much larger in the optical than in the radio band, but the mean polarization angles are similar; (iv) the optical long-term variability is characterized by a quasi-periodicity of about 1 month. We explain the source behaviour in terms of a rotating inhomogeneous helical jet, whose pitch angle can change in time.Accepted manuscrip

Multiwavelength behaviour of the blazar 3C 279: decade-long study from γ-ray to radio

    Get PDF
We report the results of decade-long (2008–2018) γ-ray to 1 GHz radio monitoring of the blazar 3C 279, including GASP/WEBT, Fermi and Swift data, as well as polarimetric and spectroscopic data. The X-ray and γ-ray light curves correlate well, with no delay ≳ 3 h, implying general cospatiality of the emission regions. The γ-ray–optical flux–flux relation changes with activity state, ranging from a linear to a more complex dependence. The behaviour of the Stokes parameters at optical and radio wavelengths, including 43 GHz Very Long Baseline Array images, supports either a predominantly helical magnetic field or motion of the radiating plasma along a spiral path. Apparent speeds of emission knots range from 10 to 37c, with the highest values requiring bulk Lorentz factors close to those needed to explain γ-ray variability on very short time-scales. The Mg ii emission line flux in the ‘blue’ and ‘red’ wings correlates with the optical synchrotron continuum flux density, possibly providing a variable source of seed photons for inverse Compton scattering. In the radio bands, we find progressive delays of the most prominent light-curve maxima with decreasing frequency, as expected from the frequency dependence of the τ = 1 surface of synchrotron self-absorption. The global maximum in the 86 GHz light curve becomes less prominent at lower frequencies, while a local maximum, appearing in 2014, strengthens toward decreasing frequencies, becoming pronounced at ∼5 GHz. These tendencies suggest different Doppler boosting of stratified radio-emitting zones in the jet.First author draf
