Negotiations in this study aims to explain the culture of oral tradition in particular illocutionary speech act.     This research aimed to explain the way and culture of utterances in wedding proposal ceremony in Minangkabau. This research was qualitative research using ethnography of communication method. The findings of the research can be described as follow. First is the negotiation using turn taking in own initiative. However before the agreement was taken using own initiative, the discussion need to be done. The culture of discussion is the culture of Minangkabau society to get an agreement. It is because the decision made will give effect to other family members. Second is negotiation that always used in direct utterance in form of declarative utterance. Third is negotiation that always used in indirect utterance in form of declarative and imperative utterance. Indirect utterance was the utterance that mostly used.     ANALISIS KEPUASAN SEKOLAH MITRA TERHADAP MAHASISWA PRAKTIK LAPANGAN KEPENDIDIKAN FKIP UMMY TAHUN 2023

    This research analyzes the level of satisfaction of partner schools towards Educational Field Practice (PLK) students by using a qualitative descriptive research method with a percentage formula. The focus of the research is the results of the analysis carried out at partner schools on PLK students for the Odd Semester 2023/2024, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin. The research framework relies on the foundation of thoughts, ideas and policies in the 2022 PLK guidebook. There are 21 partner schools for PLK, consist of 11 SMP/MTSN, 9 SMA/SMK/MAN and 1 Islamic boarding school in Solok City and Regency. Comprehensive analysis of the data shows that the results of the partner schools satisfaction survey for Educational Field Practice students on the student ethics was found at very satisfied percentage (89%), on the communication skills was obtained at satisfied percentage (86%), on the ability to use technology was also at satisfied percentage (86%), on the cooperation ability was obtained at very satisfied percentage (89%), om  self-development was fpund at satisfied percentage (85%), and on teaching competence was obtained at satisfied percentage (81%). Thus, based on the indicators, in can be concluded that PLK students are favored by many respondents. This will have an impact on the progress of schools, tutors and PLK students through organizing PLK activities. &nbsp

    This research analyzes the level of satisfaction of Mitra schools towards educational field practice students using a qualitative descriptive research method with a percentage formula. The focus of the research is the results of the analysis carried out at the training school for PLK students for the Odd Semester 2022/2023, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin University. This research framework relies on the foundation of thoughts, ideas and policies in the 2022 PLK guidebook. There are 22 training schools for PLK, consisting of 10 middle schools and 12 high schools in public and private schools in Solok City and Regency. Comprehensive analysis of the data shows that the results of the Training School Satisfaction Survey for Educational Field Practice students can be concluded that the results of training school satisfaction with PLK on student Ethics were found to be in the highest percentage of very satisfied (88%), communication was obtained in a satisfied percentage (81%), the ability to use technology is also very satisfied (88%), self-development presentation is satisfied (83%) in the sense that PLK FKIP UMMY students are liked by many respondents and they feel very satisfied. This research explains in detail the essence of implementing PLK which can provide advantages and benefits for schools and tutors and provide an in-depth understanding of their roles

    Abstrak   Berdasarkan observasi awal dan hasil wawancara dengan guru bahasa Indonesia kelas XI SMA Adabiah Padang, peneliti menemukan beberapa kendala pembelajaran keterampilan membaca khususnya membaca pemahaman. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah peningkatan kemampuan menentukan simpulan bacaan dan group sequencing dalam membaca pemahaman dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD siswa kelas XI SMA Adabiah Padang? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan menentukan simpulan bacaan dan group sequencing dalam membaca pemahaman dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD siswa kelas XI SMA Adabiah Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan  subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI IPS 6 SMA Adabiah Padang yang berjumlah 45 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa membaca pemahaman meliputi dua hal, yaitu 1) menentukan simpulan bacaan pada siklus 1 berada kualifikasi cukup menjadi meningkat kualifikasi baik pada siklus 2 dan kedua, 2) menentukan susunan kalimat atau group sequencing pada siklus pertama berada kualifikasi kurang menjadi meningkat kualifikasi cukup pada siklus kedua. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD membawa pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam menerapkan materi membaca pemahaman khususnya menentukan kesimpulan bacaan dan menentukan susunan kalimat atau group sequencing.  Kata Kunci: Group Sequencing, Membaca Pemahaman, dan STA

    AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena tingkat kemampuan membaca siswa rendah. Salah satu diantaranya penerapan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru belum bervariasi. Metode pembelajaran yang sering diterapkan oleh guru yakni metode ceramah yang masih berpusat pada guru. Oleh karena itu, peneliti memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa khususnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) siswa kelas XI SMA Adabiah Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI IPS 6 SMA Adabiah Padang yang berjumlah 45 orang. Data penelitian ini dengan pemberian tes objektif untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa dan pemberian angket berupa respon atau tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang akan diisi oleh para siswa pada setiap akhir siklus. Berdasarkan deskripsi dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman meliputi pertama menentukan ide pokok paragraf pada siklus 1 berada kualifikasi baik menjadi meningkat kualifikasi baik sekali pada siklus 2 dan kedua, melengkapi paragraf pada siklus 1 berada kualifikasi cukup menjadi meningkat baik pada siklus 2. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) membawa pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam menerapkan materi membaca pemahaman khususnya menentukan ide pokok dan melengkapi paragraf.Kata Kunci: Ide pokok, melengkapi paragraf, membaca pemahaman, dan Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD)     MPROVEMENT OF ABILITY TO DETERMINE THE IDEA IDEAS AND COMPLETE PARAGRAPHS IN READING UNDERSTANDING USING THE TYPE OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING METHODS OF ACHIEVEMENT TEAM STUDENTS (CLASS XI SMA ADABIAH PADANG) Abstract               This research is motivated because the level of students' reading ability is low. One of them the application of teaching methods used by teachers has not varied. Teaching methods that are often applied by the teacher is a lecture method that is still centered on the teacher. Therefore, researchers provide solutions to improve students' reading ability, especially reading comprehension with cooperative learning method of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type XI SMA Adabiah Padang. This type of research is a classroom action research with the subjects of students of class XI IPS 6 SMA Adabiah Padang, amounting to 45 people. The date of this study with the provision of objective tests to measure the improvement of students' reading comprehension and questionnaire in the form of responses or responses of students to the learning that will be filled by the students at each end of the cycle. Based on the description and analysis of the data can be concluded the ability of reading comprehension includes first determine the main idea of paragraphs in cycle 1 is well qualified to be improved qualifications both in cycle 2 and second, completing the paragraph in cycle 1 is qualified enough to be improved both in cycle 2.
