Structure and properties of nanoparticles formed under conditions of wire
electrical explosion were studied. It was shown that the state of WEE power
particles can be characterized as a metastable state. It leads to an increased
stability of nanopowders at normal temperatures and an increased reactivity

Breaking the News: First Impressions Matter on Online News
A growing number of people are changing the way they consume news, replacing
the traditional physical newspapers and magazines by their virtual online
versions or/and weblogs. The interactivity and immediacy present in online news
are changing the way news are being produced and exposed by media corporations.
News websites have to create effective strategies to catch people's attention
and attract their clicks. In this paper we investigate possible strategies used
by online news corporations in the design of their news headlines. We analyze
the content of 69,907 headlines produced by four major global media
corporations during a minimum of eight consecutive months in 2014. In order to
discover strategies that could be used to attract clicks, we extracted features
from the text of the news headlines related to the sentiment polarity of the
headline. We discovered that the sentiment of the headline is strongly related
to the popularity of the news and also with the dynamics of the posted comments

Strong decays of in an extended chiral quark model
The strong decays of the resonance are investigated in an
extended chiral quark model by including the low-lying components
in addition to the component. The results show that these five-quark
components in contribute significantly to the and decays. The contributions to the decay
come from both the lowest energy and the next-to-lowest energy five-quarks
components, while the contributions to the decay come from only the
latter one. Taking these contributions into account, the description for the
strong decays of is improved, especially, for the puzzling large

Strangeness spin, magnetic moment and strangeness configurations of the proton
The implications of the empirical signatures for the positivity of the
strangeness magnetic moment , and the negativity of the strangeness
contribution to the proton spin , on the possible
configurations of five quarks in the proton are analyzed. The empirical signs
for the values of these two observables can only be obtained in configurations
where the system is orbitally excited and the quark is in the
ground state. The configurations, in which the is orbitally excited,
which include the conventional congfiguration, with the
exception of that, in which the component has spin 2, yield negative
values for . Here the strangeness spin , the strangeness
magnetic moment and the axial coupling constant are calculated
for all possible configurations of the component of the proton. In

The knowledge-capital (KC) model of MNEs is now a widely adopted empirical approach to explaining the location and production decisions of global firms based on both horizontal and vertical motivations. While most of the existing studies have focused on highly aggregated national data, we extend this model to sectoral data consisting of broad manufacturing industries and explicitly account for the dynamic nature of international investment data. The empirical results from a dynamic panel data analysis indicate that that the predictions of the KC model regarding MNE behavior vary by the type of industry. Entangling two distant nanocavities via a waveguide
In this paper, we investigate the generation of continuous variable
entanglement between two spatially-separate nanocavities mediated by a coupled
resonator optical waveguide in photonic crystals. By solving the exact dynamics
of the cavity system coupled to the waveguide, the entanglement and purity of
the two-mode cavity state are discussed in detail for the initially separated
squeezing inputs. It is found that the stable and pure entangled state of the
two distant nanocavities can be achieved with the requirement of only a weak
cavity-waveguide coupling when the cavities are resonant with the band center
of the waveguide. The strong couplings between the cavities and the waveguide
lead to the entanglement sudden death and sudden birth. When the frequencies of
the cavities lie outside the band of the waveguide, the waveguide-induced cross
frequency shift between the cavities can optimize the achievable entanglement.
It is also shown that the entanglement can be easily manipulated through the
changes of the cavity frequencies within the waveguide band.Comment: 8 pages, 8 figure
