Pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan, Leverage Dan Profitabilitas Perusahaan Terhadap Tingkat Pengungkapan Tanggungjawab Sosial (Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar Pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (Bei) Periode 2008-2010)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran Perusahaan, tingkat leverage danprofitabilitas terhadap tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial Perusahaan Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2008-2010 sebanyak 137 Perusahaan. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Random samling, ada 58 sample . Analisis data untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ukuran Perusahaan, tingkat leverage danprofitabilitas secara simultan terbukti berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial Perusahaan. Secara parsial ukuran Perusahaan, tingkat leverage,berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial Perusahaan, sedangkan tingkat profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab social. Hubungan antara ukuran Perusahaan, tingkat leverage danprofitabilitas dengan tingkat pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial Perusahaan termasuk dalam kategori kecil, karena masih pada tingkat 31,8 %.
 
Attracting shallow donors: Hydrogen passivation in (Al,Ga,In)-doped ZnO
The hydrogen interstitial and the substitutional Al_Zn, Ga_Zn and In_Zn are
all shallow donors in ZnO and lead to n-type conductivity. Although shallow
donors are expected to repel each other, we show by first principles
calculations that in ZnO these shallow donor impurities attract and form a
complex, leading to a donor level deep in the band gap. This puts a limit on
the n-type conductivity of (Al,Ga,In)-doped ZnO in the presence of hydrogen.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figure
Quantum communication between trapped ions through a dissipative environment
We study two trapped ions coupled to the axial phonon modes of a
one-dimensional Coulomb crystal. This system is formally equivalent to the "two
spin-boson" model. We propose a scheme to dynamically generate a maximally
entangled state of two ions within a decoherence-free subspace. Here the
phononic environment of the trapped ions, whatever its temperature and number
of modes, serves as the entangling bus. The efficient production of the pure
singlet state can be exploited to perform short-ranged quantum communication
which is essential in building up a large-scale quantum computer.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figure
Comparison of ferment sugars, produce hemolysis and measuring growth in methicillin-resistant and methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus isolates from inpatients and healthcare workers in Gorgan Hospitals, North of Iran
The mec A gene in Staphylococcus aureus leads to production of new penicillin-binding protein called PBP2a.This change may follow some changes in other phenotypes. The aim of this study was the comparison of Ferment Sugars, Produce Hemolysis and Measuring Growth in MRSA and MSSA isolates. 188 Staphylococcus aureus isolates separated from inpatients and healthcare workers (healthy carriers)were studied.Bacterialcultures in blood agar environment at 37°C during 24h and at 4°C during other 24h were applied for studying hemolysis. Sugar fermentation carried out in phenol red Broth medium, containing glucose, galactose, arabinose, fructose, xylose, ramnose, mannose, sucrose, trehalose, raffinose or maltose. For determining bacterial growth,bacterial concentration of 103was taken each hour during 12 cultured in MHAand colonies were counted after 24h.The mean amount of hemolysis diameter in MRSA isolates was rather more than that of MSSA isolates. The difference between MRSA and MSSA isolates were significant as to fermenting ramnose, trehalose, galactose and xylose. The mean rate of growth in MRSAwere significantly different from that of MSSAisolates (p<0.05).Resistance to methicillin in Staphylococcus aureus isolates accompanies the increase of ability to ferment sugars. This phenomenon may be one of reasons for increased pathogenicity of MRSA isolates; So results shows the logarithmic phase is longer in MRSA isolates, This may implicate that PBP2a production in methicillin-resistant isolates follows slowing down nutrients entrance into the bacterium that in turn may causes slow growth
Isolation of keratinophilic fungi and aerobic actinomycetes from park soils in Gorgan, North of Iran
Background: Keratinophilic fungi are a group of fungi that colonize in various keratinous substrates and degrade them to the components with low molecular weight. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of keratinophilic fungi and aerobic Actinomycetes in soil of city parks in Gorgan. Objectives: In this study, we surveyed the city park soils of Gorgan (a northern province of Iran) to determine the identities and diversity of soil aerobic Actinomycetes, keratinophilic and non-keratinophilic fungi. Materials and Methods: A total of 244 soil samples were collected from 22 diferent parks of Gorgan, North of Iran. The samples were collected from the superfcial layer with depth not exceeding than 0-10 cm in sterile polyethylene bags. We used hair bait technique for isolation keratinophilic fungi. The colonies identifed by macroscopic and microscopic characterization after slide culturing. Actinomycetes were isolated by antibiotic dilution methods and detected by using physiological tests such as Lysozyme, Casein, Xanthine, Hypoxanthine, Gelatin, Urea Broth, and modifed acid-fast stain. Results: Totally, 75 isolates of aerobic Actinomycetes were detected that Actinomadura madurae and Nocardia asteroides were the most prevalent strains, with 14.66 and 28% prevalence respectively. Microsporum gypseum was more frequent than other keratinophilic fungi (22.96%) and Aspergillus spp. was the most species of saprophyte fungi (15.92%). Conclusions: This study showed that the collected soil from studied areas was rich of keratinophilic fungi and Actinomycetes, therefore hygiene protocol should be taken to prevent the spread of pathogenic and saprophytes fungi in the environment of susceptible person. © 2013, Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences
Scalable ion traps for quantum information processing
We report on the design, fabrication, and preliminary testing of a 150 zone
array built in a `surface-electrode' geometry microfabricated on a single
substrate. We demonstrate transport of atomic ions between legs of a `Y'-type
junction and measure the in-situ heating rates for the ions. The trap design
demonstrates use of a basic component design library that can be quickly
assembled to form structures optimized for a particular experiment
Quantitative phase evolution during mechano-synthesis of Ti-Ni-Cu shape memory alloys
Cataloged from PDF version of article.Ti-41Ni-9Cu shape memory alloy was synthesized by mechanical alloying of pure elemental Ti, Ni, and Cu powders using high-energy ball milling. The qualitative and quantitative phase analyses of the as-milled powders were done by X-ray diffraction (XRD) using Rietveld refinement and the alloys microstructure was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Concerning the results, by milling evolution, the dissolution of the primary materials occurred at different rates and a considerable amount of the amorphous phase as well as B19′-martensite and B2-austenite was created. The formation of Ni solid solution was also evidenced prior to its dissolution. It was found that at sufficient milling time, the mechano-crystallization of the amorphous phase occurred and at the end of milling, the B19′-martensite is the dominant phase of the structure. © 2012 Elsevier B.V.
