Diseño de producto ecoturístico con enfoque sostenible en el embalse de Chivor, Boyacá

163 páginas : ilustraciones, mapas, planos, gráficos, fotografías.El desarrollo de producto turístico es una herramienta de planificación que garantiza el adecuado ejercicio de la actividad turística, pues requiere de un diagnóstico y un trabajo previo en los territorios, que permite conocer de cerca las dinámicas que ocurren dentro del mismo y actuar en consecuencia con dichas dinámicas, adaptando el producto a las condiciones del destino. El presente trabajo resalta la sostenibilidad como elemento principal del diseño de producto, trabajando desde los tres pilares de la sostenibilidad: económico, ambiental y social. Parte de un diagnóstico realizado a través de una matriz DOFA que detalla las condiciones del Embalse de Chivor y los municipios aledaños e incluye elementos como la oferta comercial, estructura e infraestructura turística, demanda potencial, atractivos y relación de la comunidad con el turismo. Todo esto, para estructurar un producto de acuaturismo enfocado en los deportes extremos y la naturaleza, proponiendo una marca para el producto, así como herramientas de promoción y comercialización. Finalmente, se evalúa la viabilidad del producto a partir del análisis del Manual de Desarrollo de Productos Turísticos de la Organización Mundial del Turismo (2011), y se proponen ciertas recomendaciones que apoyan la implementación del Producto Turístico y permiten el adecuado desarrollo del mismo.The development of a tourism product is a planning instrument that guarantees the appropriate practice of tourism, since it requires a diagnostic and a previous work in the territory, which allows to have a closer look to the dynamics of the destination and take accurate actions. This will allow adapting the product to the actual conditions of the destination. The following document highlights the sustainability as the main element of the touristic product design, working on the three pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental and social. It begins with a diagnosis based on a SWOT analysis that describes the current conditions of Chivor reservoir and surrounding municipalities, including subjects as the commercial offer, touristic infrastructure, potential demand, important sights and the relationship of the community with tourism. All of this led to creating an aqua tourism product focused on extreme sports and nature. The product suggests a Brand as well as promotion and marketing instruments. Finally, the viability of the product is evaluated based on the criteria of the Handbook on Tourism Product Development from the World Tourism Organization (2011).
